New interview and a Stronghold screenshot!!
A new interview has been published... It gives parts of the stronghold line-up (Nomads are level 2 in Stronghold) and the full-line up for Preserve (Griffins are in the Preserve!!) as well as giving the answers to many other popular recent questions on the board.

Yee-Haw!!!
Especially good news that Griffins are back! (And that leprechauns are therefore neutrals).
Thanks for the heads-up Djive

So this means that the leprechaun, satyr, and wolfwort are all neutrals and it would be reasonable to guess they may be summoned by the preserve (though of course that could be wrong). Perhaps the Mantis is a lvl 4 summonable.

My guesses after the new information...
Preserve
lv1: Sprite (flyer)
lv1: Wolf (walker)
lv2: Elf (shooter)
lv2: White Tiger (walker)
lv3: Griffin (flyer)
lv3: Unicorn (walker)
lv4: Faerie Dragon (spellcaster)
lv4: Phoenix (flyer)
Summonable lv1: Wolf (walker)
Summonable lv2: Satyr (walker)
Summonable lv3: Waspwort (shooter)
Summonable lv3: Mantis (flyer)
Stronghold
lv1: Berserk (walker)
lv1: Centaur (shooter)
lv2: Nomad (walker)
lv2: Troll (walker)
lv3: Ogre Mage (spellcaster)
lv3: Thunderbird (flyer)
lv4: Cyclop (shooter)
lv4: Behemoth (walker)
Do anybody disagree?

"Do anybody disagree?"
Only about the Troll the rest looks Ok.
The troll is not level 2 Stonghold, it is most likely level 3 neutral. Just compare it to the Nomad who has 61 hp. The troll has 180 hp.

You know I agree with you about the troll being level 3, but I thought it should be in stronghold?
What is then the second level 2?

Okay.. I'm going to have to complain. I don't like the idea of Preserve having two normal creatures. It's probably fine tactics wise, but having two normal creatures from everyday life detracts from the "fantasy" experience for me. And plus I really don't think the white tiger fits in well at all... that way (unless this is a tactic of course) Preserve is great at being first, but that will be about it (phoenixes, fairy dragons, unicorns, white tigers, sprites, wolves all fast, maybe with the exception of elves, but they will probably also be pretty fast)

I think it's fine that the preserve have creatures from real life in it. It's supposed to be a town of nature and natural things, it would be kind of silly if it only had unnatural magical creatures in it.
I actually disagree about the mantis and waspwort being the same level. I suspect there will be one summonable creature of each level, and if the waspwort is lvl 3, then I would guess the mantis would be lvl 4.

I wonder how the new griffon is going to look. And the medusa. The phoenix looks like a plucked turkey on fire!! At first i thought the waspwort was a building because.. how is it supposed to move? By hopping? Oh well ya can't like everything.

hmmm hehe not to brag but...
wasnt i the one who was saying they needed a brand new creature that hadnt been revealed yet to make the preserve lineup work? i think it was... hehe
concerning the stronghold, the hitpoint factor obviuosly rules out trolls as being in the stronghold.
now look at all the remaining creatures in the game not in a castle.
i will list them:
peasant, pirate, troglodyte, beholder, harpy, mermaid, sea monster, ice demon, (they might have elementals)
now then; i will break this down for you. (we need either a shooter, a flyer, or a spellcaster since the confirmed nomad is a walker)
peasant - will not be it, no need to explain.
pirates - cant be cuz they are walkers and wouldnt fit.
troglodytes - are walkers and dont fit.
beholders - dont fit but are shooters
HARPIES - your best bet. are flyers, and seem to be the ones that fit the best out of the present neutrals.
mermaids - it has been confirmed that they are neutral and non-hirable.
sea monster - neutral and non-hirable also.
ice demon - wouldnt fit and are walkers.
THEREFORE, I AM GOING TO GUARANTEE A NEW CREATURE IN STRONGHOLD ALSO.
there is a small chance of harpy at L2, and a BIG chance of a new creature. those are the ONLY POSSIBILITIES.
troll WILL NOT BE IN STRONGHOLD.
hope this helps you guys.

i almost forgot about something very important!!!
i was running across a few different creature lists after i made the previous post, and i ran across the long forgotten gargoyle!
this seems a much more possible L2 stronghold creature than harpy.
it is a flyer, which means it holds true to the creature type rule established by 3DO.
Though it doesnt really fit with stronghold at all, it comes a lot closer than harpies...
now here are the chances of the following creatures being the 2nd Stronghold Level 2 creature, in my opinion:
60% NEW CREATURE
25% gargoyle
10% harpy
5% beholder
Thus i retract my statement about the only 2 options being harpy and new creature.

Well in the past the gargoyle has always been part of highly magical towns. First it was with the warlocks in H2, and then the wizards in H3. As a result it would seem rather out of place with the extremely non magical barbarians.

Has anyone noticed that the place where the centaurs come from is in some old Asylum Screenshots?
If we look here, we see after the Lvl1 structure that looks like the old goblin place, the Centaur structure, which is brown and barn-looking, perhaps called a stable?
Now, we look here, and see the same thing. Note that the Asylum shot is older than the Stronghold. Therefore, NWC originally was planning to put the Centaurs back in the Asylum, like the old Warlock Castle!

I don't think so...
The building got small stairways and all that on it. Not a centaur thing. It's the bandit dwelling or the bandit hideout/thieves guild. My guess is that the time when the screenshot was token, they haven't made the centaur stable yet and just used the same dwelling for bandits and the centaur.
