The missions will be as intended in the latest patches (except for a few adaptations to ToE features). But if you remember in which missions these scenes were displayed, it will be easy to find them and release them separately.

I'm not sure about the first one, but i'm think it is in map 5 in sylvan campaign (may be map 4 in sylvan campaign). The one with Raelag is map 4 in "academy campaign. That means C5M5 and C6M4

Finally, this is the big announcement!

The H5/HoF campaigns for ToE are now available!

There are 2 required packs: main data and texts. Dialog scenes and cutscenes are optional downloads (considering their size). You can choose your language for texts and dialog voices.

With the additional "Look'n feel" packs, you can also completely reproduce the H5/HoF experience (icon, splash screen, mainmenu...), still sharing the user profile but with a separate savegame folder to keep you tidy.

I kept the campaign missions themselves as close as possible to the original (latest patch available), while activating ToE features and fixing several scripts to take alternate upgrades into accounts (like where you're asked to gather a certain number of creatures).

This was a lot of work, and I'm happy to release it in many languages at once. I hope you'll enjoy it!

Special thanks to Borsook for extensive testing (and bug reports).

Sounds good. I have waited for this the whole week, but a noobish question: shall i place the zip file in UserMODS, or shall i take the files included in the zip file?

As with any mod, the files already have the .h5u extension, but your internet explorer renames them to .zip. You should rename them to .h5u and place them in UserMODs/ (you should NOT extract the files inside).

Microsoft should be murdered for that... Anyway I do not know whether it is possible to change this "feature" but people using Getright or Flashget (or possibly other download managers) will get the files with correct extensions even under IE7.

EDIT> and if you get them as zip files - e.g. Total Commander has a nice feature allowing to rename many files at once.

Bravo, more excellent work, I have downloaded them already
I was looking to maybe restart the campaigns, so this will add to them.

But could you do just one more thing for me? Rename the packs to "look 'n' feel"?

@Pavijan: weird one indeed! There is obviously a conflict with another of your mods (like one replacing some heroes models), since it works correctly on my side. Which language did you use for the texts? (since you say it's also her name in the subtitles)

Just another question: If i'mgoing to replay, only the original campaign shows(I havn't begin on HoF), not Tribes cutscenes, how do i addd tribes cutscenes again

I'm not sure what you mean here... if you use any of the look'n'feel packs - they add separate HOMMV/HOF exe files that do show only corresponding campaigns, but your TOTE exe (and shortcut) is still there, just run it normally and on the right you have 3 icons (just above campaign menu) that allow you to switch between HOMMV/HOF/TOTE campaigns. The mod will work fine with your old campaign.sav, so TOTE missions that you've finished will still be marked as finished. Anyway the mod does not overwrite any TOTE files, so it cannot break anything in your install.

I wonder if you can retrain creatures in hill forts in old campaign. That feature was missing from in old single scenarios that were packed for TotE.

AFAIK In most cases - yes, it is still disabled on few maps for balance reasons.

I couldn't see any balance reasons when you could just as well retrain them in town. It just made one more chaining back to town necessary. perhaps in campaigns there should be maps where it is disabled, but in none of the scenarios i found good reason for the miss of that feature.

I agree about the scenarios, and I'll update them when I get the time.
For the campaigns, I left the Hill Forts as they were (no retrain) in a few missions early on, where you have no town either (C3M1 for example, and IIRC it is the latest mission where I didn't fix the Hill Fort to enable retraining).

Anyway, thanks for the great work in uniting all heroes 5 content under one .exe
With those packages of yours, everything except video scenes is available through same .exe and it makes TotE itself much more valuable as standalone for those that don't own previous editions.

This will turn out to be best purchase I've ever made... if only my friend would return the CD to me

On the other hand, buyers of Gold version might feel a bit cheated

Opening/closing videos are in the HOMMV look'n'feel pack, and they can be run with the normal TOTE exe too

That would be great to have..a full game indeed (as it should have been instead of 3 separate .exe files). However... waiting for a mod that will do that
