Do stick around. Just because I don't reply to your posts doesn't mean they don't interest me. I'm sure there are plenty of similar members too.
Usually (note: usually) I try not to post if I have nothing really interesting to say. Still, I guess a bit of encouragement can go a long way.

You're right there. From the moment you started posting here you reminded me some of the older members I myself never got the chance to "meet". However, that doesn't make HC worse, just different. Stick around and who knows, maybe given enough time you can influence people into posting more in the way you want... or just learn to enjoy the current HC.

My own feeling was that H III added quantity but not necessarily quality over heroes II. That's why I never got into 3. I've had some great experiences with 5...but to each his own I guess. As I understand it there's still large active heroes 3 online playing communities so there's obviously something right there.

I finished around 50% of the project I'm currently working on... hmm, it will take some lots of time to finish it but at least I feel closer to its completion now

Well I'm making some kind of video/trailer. I use the NWN toolset to create the scenes and then record with Fraps, edit the clips with VirtualDubMod and then use Windows Movie Maker to put everything together.
The problem is, it's extremely hard to make all those scenes, especially since the NWN engine is... how shall I say... not really suited for making trailers... especially handling the "camera man" is very difficult.
I just hope it will turn out great, I have my doubts but then I always have almost no self-confidence so I don't know what to think about it...

D&D does, not sure about Nwn (not sure if I even said that). I can cover any situation with a shade just binary between two (that is for the most "influencing" attitude of course, not all). What I said was that, you don't interpret it right and can't even cover all situations

@Father: Trash? You may be surprised to see how active it is and how many people like it... come to think of it, it's a lot more active than the Heroes 3 section, and the Duel Tournament had a much bigger success for Heroes 5 (in fact the H3 one didn't even start... lack of participants, I believe...)
Preferences vary, I guess.

That's not really fair to the heroes 3 duelists, if I recall there were some err balance issues...and there are tons of h3 tourneys. Just not here.

Well didn't know that, I thought Heroes Community is the most active board for Heroes of Might and Magic? Guess I was wrong, hmm?
