my thinking was that they would be found even deeper than the Behemoth, and that the Tower keepers from this thread, the ones who are allied with the Troglodytes and Behemoths, would find them and in some of their campaigns they would use them against the Naga.

Tower is neutral, but hate the demons. The reason is on a pergament, hidden deep in Tyndahl. I don't know if they fight Nagas, becouse cepheus decide it. But i think their relationship is very good, rather not.

Werewolves as neutral.

Also, should it be that if a creature kills a gold golem it gets some of the gold (say 300) if it wins the fight?

I'd be happy to come up with neutral ideas. I already had a rather innovative idea involving elemental portals, similar to the nature summoning facilities in HoMM 4 and the elemental portals there, but these create 7 different sets of summons for each of the four major elements. Check here for my ideas

As you can see, it brings a ton of neutrals into play, which can help supply creatures to a heroes army that don't effect the armies morale. It also brings back the traditional Genies, as well as the Efreets.

Ask Cepheus. he is the maker of the storyline. Many of us need the knowledge of the storyline to continue, but Ceph is quite busy with ToK and other things

I am very creative, and have always wanted to work on story lines for video games. Furthermore, I've written some short stories in the past, and am an enthusiastic if short attention spanned writer. However, I have not had the privilege of playing Heroes V and learning it's storyline, but I would be glad to assist in the writing of the storyline, although I'd need to be filled in on what all has happened.

Brownies and Halflings

These can either be neutral, or a new Dwarven creature for tier one. Brownies are half dwarf, half elf, and Halflings are half dwarf, half human. Both have the giant slayer ability, doing double damage to large units. Brownies are rugged little close range combatants, while Halflings are capable of using a sling to throw stones at a distance. They have low HP but high defense for their level, but their damage is only 1~2 and their attack is only 2. They have adequate initiative and speed though.

Eyebat, Creeper Eye, and Abomination

Tier 2,3, and 4 creatures respectively. The Eyebat is weak unit that looks like a large eyeball with bat wings. It is capable of flying and has a weak eye beam attack that has a twenty-five percent chance of causing weakness. The Creeper Eye is an eyeball with six multi segmented  legs. It has a close range stabbing attack that has a twenty five percent chance of poisoning the foe. The Abomination is a small, ahriman like eye with a small body, feet and legs. It is capable of flight and has a ramming attack that has a twenty five percent chance of causing slow. All of these creatures are especially weak for their tier, with HP being 15, 20, and 25 respectively. Their attack and damage is low, and their defense is low. They do have high speed and initiative though, and their special ability is spying and enhanced vision. Enhanced vision increases the line of sight of a hero on the adventure map by three, and spying allows the hero to see key details of adventure map objects and enemies. Think of the eye of the magi from games past, and make it a creature, and thats what these creatures are for. They were created by the Dark Elves for obvious reasons, but they have been used more recently by the Necromancers. They are not undead, but they are not affected by mind spells or morale. They are susceptible to blindness, however.

@BradRepko you get my vote for the storywriter. But i and Cepheus mmaked a role for Juuks Paave(look at page two tower section)as a demon agenda and he tricked all people and creatures(expecct Harggaran)that he won the contest and is the high lord instead of Eltardon Hasneal. at a map in the campaigns(one of the last) Eltardon kills Juuks and is now the servant of the scarlet serpent. You woulden't play that ability in the original game, but he will have a role in one of the expansions with that ability

I have an idea already in the works for the Necromancers Campaign. Ironically, in it they will require help from the faction that originally kicked them out in the first place, the Academy. A new enemy emerges based on an ancient prophecy, or rather, an old enemy brought back to life. The necromancers were nearly wiped out when there kingdom was destroyed, but that's not all that was lost. The original ideals of the necromancers was lost with the fall of it's undead rulers. Back then, the leader of the necromatic kingdom predicted his own demise, and issued a startling prophecy, that their kingdom would someday rise again, and with the power of the beings who know only death, would the great pyramid of death rise and drape the world in eternal darkness. These perfect beings of death are ones who were born without life, who are born in a state of undead, who were dead without knowing life. They are the mighty Anubis, jackal headed warriors who are the essence of death itself. This fallen undead king will rise again with the old kingdom of necromancers, and with these powerful new warriors, continue the project to complete the pyramid of death which the mages sought to destroy all those years ago.

The current necromancers see life as a necessary state of being to bring about death, and the idea of death without life bothers them, as it is what gives their creatures their power. They seek to try to stop the first part of the prophecy, the rise of the undead king, from happening, but they fail. When they are unable to stop the undead king from bringing about the Anubis warriors, that is when they decide they must seek help or forever be doomed to serve this new regime for eternity, as the Pyramid of Death not only blocks the suns rays, but refracts them with dark energy, bathing the world in necrotic light and raising all creatures from the dead under there control. Since the necromancers are undead, that would mean they too would be forced to serve this undead king. So, they have to enlist help from those they despise the most, the accursed mages of the Academy. Naturally, the mages are reluctant to believe them, and attack them as necromancers enter their territory. Many of the mages believe the Pyramid of Death (name pending) was just a myth, as no evidence of the structure existing was found when the old kingdoms destroyed the necromancer kingdom, but it soon becomes apparent that a new undead force, lead by the earliest of necromancers, is gaining vast power. The pyramid of death must not be allowed to take it's deadly flight into the sky, or else all life shall cease to be, and the dead will forever serve under these deranged masters of unlife.
