Dude, so if this QP system was measurable, and someone made 98 points (you need 100 for a QP, for example) in a post, 99 in another, and 95 in another... you think that person does not deserve a QP or maybe even two?

You defantely got a point the Angelo.
2 Silver Medals makes a gold Medal.
3 Bronze makes a gold medal & 2 Bronze makes a silver medal.
1 silver & 1 bronze makes a gold medal.
Any other medals just wont do.

If you do contact a mod for that then you ARE qp begging d'uh. Cannot comment on your contest, for all I know you were the only one you thought it was worth a qp. Remember that it's all subjective and the criteria for each forum vary.

There shouldn't be any feeling that there's a guaranteed way to get a QP.
There are always different things that moderators consider when giving them.
For myself, I do take into account that some people make a thread with an expectation that it should get a QP, and when I'm asked over and over about it it only furthers my belief that this is only the reason why the thread was created. i don't believe that should be rewarded.
Personally I'm over the idea that QP's should be contest prizes, or if one person does soemthing then any copycats who follow the same format should also be QP'd.
Its supposed to be a reflection of the best posts of HC, not who can come up with the most games.

Again, by saying you were passed over it sounds to me like there was expectation there.
To my knowledge, creature contest 6 did not get a qp either, also, none for contest 7.
I gave a QP for 4 because it was a person who was quite active in WoG, with only 2 qp's at the time. To me, it seemed fair.
I will not be giving a QP for these contests just because they were made.

Eventhough I don't really like the fact that he kinda nominated himself I think he has a point. I mean this has been going on for 22 pages, he has done a great job organizing and people seemed to have a lot of fun.
So a QP as a sign of appreciation of his efforts is more than acceptable in this case I think.

But "medals" are positional relative, because they are used in competitions (i.e "first place", "second place", etc), while QPs are not.
For example, even if someone has a gold medal today, if someone else comes and tops him by a mere fraction, he gets a silver, despite the fact that he got gold before -- because it's positional.

just my opinion and you can ignore it if you want but i think all the people that got penalties in that wastelands game should get a qp just for having to put up with the so called "joke".

Hey William, if you don't care about QPs at all, how come you always comment on every QP suggestion there is? Why do you even care anyway?
But I agree that suggestion is simply not a good one, you don't give QPs for that.
