I don't want to get into argument with a mod armed with such jets of green plasma, but... What about detail? Is that not important. I personally always did miss that kind of smily. It is more like bored than skeptic. (the one of Ashera )

Make them a bit more "bright" to fit with HC theme? a bit not exaggerate
For the :S you could make it more balanced, since right now it goes (the mouth) a lot more down to the left.

The reason they are "dark" is that I used the  smiley as a starting point (and it is dark). However, I redesigned them with the smiley to be brighter
And I hope the :S is not so much "unbalanced" anymore

The :S smiley is perfect nice work
I would still make the "rolls eyes" smiley a bit lighter, I don't know why, but I get the impression it's darker... maybe it's just me

I like you smilies. Eventhough my personal interpretation of a :S is a bit more ":S" than yours. A bit more "S" in the smile and the :huh: is pretty close to I think. But I'm not trying to nag . I honestly think you did a good job and what damage can it do to have more smilies to express your emotions? So add them!

Bah, I don't know if I have posted in this thread before, but I see nothing wrong with the current smilies that we have. They have probably been here for about 6 or so years, whenever the forum was first created, and I don't see a need for one or more of them to be changed now.
Just leave them as they are, that's what I think.

I wasn't replying just to you. I was replying basically to what the original topic was about, changing the to a better image.
And also I really don't think there is any need to add new smilies. There really isn't anything wrong with the ones we have right now to have new ones added. You could always just link to the smilie from your photobucket page or something. And also, the new smilies wouldn't really suit the forums smilies that it has now. It would look out of place. In my opinion, photobucket or a link from the website would be good enough.

Generally I actually agree with you will but I don't see what the big deal is if we have new ones. I don't find the new ones in particulary apealling but they're not bad. Sure they are not 100% hc-ish but what harm can new smilies do you?

hehe, I'm not trying to make a big deal out of it and I really don't want it to be, but I just don't think it would suit the HC style of smilies. Sure they look nice but that is just my opinion.
