What does Ornella have to do with that? We are talking about abilities derived from skills or racials. Btw arcane intuition was back to normal by 2.1 and cold death/secrets of destruction were not changed for TotE.

That's just a map editor trick, you could have normal heroes with perks they could not get ingame since HoF. As a knight with offensive formation.

Fire resistance and stormwind are not changed as far as I know. You are on a good path though

Storm wind: v2.1 -1 initiative to creatures
v3.0 -10% init. reduction
Fire resistance:
v2.1: Creatures under Hero's control receive only 50% damage from all fire-based spells attacks and are immune to armor
damaging effects of Master of Fire ability.
v3.0: Creatures under Hero's control receive only 50% damage from all fire spells attacks and are immune...
quite confusing, with those cross-lined words, I agree.

6. How can your creatures attack an Arcane Crystal by making a melee attack and not damage themselves?
If there is enemy creature in front of the crystal, and you attack this creature with unit like the Black Dragon (Fire Breath ability) the hit will attack the enemy creature and target behind it - the crystal, but your creature will not take damage.
EDIT:
Never tried, but probably Magical Immunity works too.

Wow, that sounds really powerful. I've never even seen or heard of that artifact. Is it possible to get it in multiplayer games or is it excluded from most maps? Also, is it a random level 7, or pre-determined in some way?
Lastly for the "Unique secondary skills" question, I just want to clarify what is meant by secondary skills. I'm guessing it's stuff like Luck, Leadership, Attack, Dark magic, etc. If so, what are Primary skills?
I hope this wasn't too off-topic. I don't even have the slightest clue about what questions are left.

When leaping it received double the retaliation

You pick it and the show shoots all his favoured enemies. If you have imbued it gets fun
Primary skills are attack/defense/spellpower/knowledge.

I still think it has to do with preperation . Becuase that makes them retaliate before.
Guess we have to think on something on the lines of that. Defending is the missing word on the first question isnt it?
