Firstly, Manga fox is still up. It's harder to handle than One manga, but it's still available.
secondly, this is really going to hurt the industry. most of the people I know became big fans of the genre due to the stuff online, and now with everyone cracking down on scanilations and trying to hold it all back, it's going to slash the fanbase by half.

one volume costs 7,50, one book costs 6,50
one volume reading time 15 mins, one book reading time 3 hours
Why would I ever buy anything like that?
And it's not like there's an manga even available here...

I own every volume of One Piece the other series I read available for purchase. The only reason I read online is because I have to wait to read it in the US.

Just finished Gundam Seed Destiny.
Quite a beautiful ending imo, a bit abrupt perhaps... I would've liked to know what became of earth and ZAFT afterwards.

Yup. Not as good as Seed but still, very good.
Shinn was interesting but since the words of Athrun and Kira didn't seem to reach him they should've just killed him off dramatically.
Instead he just... fails heavily and cries.
Stellar's words were interesting though, "you've given me a yesterday, so let's meet tommorow". I'm guessing she's referring to how despite the memory-removal she could still remember Shinn, thus giving her a past... or something.
Perhaps Shinn was actually crying because he realized how wrong he had been, and that the chairman's words would've deprived him of any "tommorow", or at least a future where choice exists.
Or I dunno, I think he's just a stubborn fool. They should've let him accidentally kill Luna with his glowing-palm-thingy and make him suicide because of it, maybe even trigger his Gundam to blow up in an attempt to kill Athrun who he blames again. That'd be more character fitting imo, and way cooler 
EDIT: Most memorable scene from Seed Destiny was definitely when Shinn says farewell to Stellar by the lake... saaaad panda

Massive spoilers:
I didn't like Shinn, I thought he was extremely annoying the whole time.

Overall, though I enjoyed Seed Destiny, it had huge flaws. They completely messed up Athrun/Cagalli, Athrun's whole character (did he forget everything he learned in Seed?), Stellar was annoying, Mu's "I'm actually not dead" was completely pulled out of nowhere, Rey's character change was extremely sudden, etc. The only decent main characters were Kira, Lacus, and Durandal. It could've been done so much better.
At least the MS designs were cool.

I think I'm gonna re-read Berserk before manga-apocalypse arrives... I don't like a future where I have to download manga...

EDIT: Starts out quite well, this breathes quality. I really enjoyed Blood: The Last Vampire too... and this has kinda the same feel to it.

Well, it's a bit overly romantic and everything revolves too much around Saya (unrealistically so) and there's this moment that's genuine squick, but overall it's okay and it features a man beating up monsters with a cello.

Kewl, I picked out a good anime without any influence from HC at all!
Like 90% of what I've read and watched has been suggestions from here so... yeah. INDEPENDENCE!

You know what I do? i pick animes with cool names.
That's it. I look at a list and I was like: Berserk? Oh, my god, that name abuses farm animals! I have to watch it!
(of course, like half the things I watch are still suggestions from someone else, because independent thought makes me fearful)
