Ah, I've read every Predator and Alien comic out there some years back. I remember some of those being absolutely hilarious. Batman vs aliens had amazing art if I recall correctly though.
Oh yeah, read Tokyo Ravens, it's great.
Daigeki Joi Saori is pretty damn hilarious, best enjoyed in short burts with beer, watch out for hysterical scenes though. 
Enjoyed Kamiyadori and Tokage a lot too. Both lack in storytelling department but convey scenes excellently. Accompanied with great art too. Both highly recommended.
As for Anime, Angel Beats is entertaining if you've got time to waste.
Valkyria Chronicles is recommended, worth your time even with all the shortcomings. If you don't anything about military or tactics, I'd say it's a lot more than recommended, it's a must watch, great series.
(If you do know something about those you're facepalming half of the series but hey, ignorance is bliss)
Now this is weird but Battle Girls Time Paradox is probably the most enjoyable series I've watched in a long time. It's totally silly, has a decent enough plot, animation is actually good, characters are a less two-dimensional than usual and it's a wannabe ecchi series without actually being ecchi. It's in no way worth more than a 6 out of ten. Yet it beats most 8 out of 10 series in entertainment. Just watch it and have a good time.

I've finished reading the bleach manga some 2-3 days ago. After digesting it a bit I must say that I'm a bit disappointed in how things turned out so far, post excution arc wise. The idea that I dislike the most is that of the "hybrid", it creeps me out and we already see it being a theme for far too many stories. At first I thought it would be ok, since the main point of it was the struggle for power and not actual crossbreeding, so I was able to bear it in the arrancar arc, the hollowification thing and stuff. But Ichigo being in fact a quincy-shinigami-hollow hybrid?! That's just too much for me. And it's quite a strech for the story too. You get to see one moment when Aizen finds out that Ichigo's mother is a quincy, just to have him later call Ichigo a "human". Or finding out that it was not a hollow that killed his mother, but other quincies. Or that he never had any shinigami powers, but they were all quincy powers.. so he was practically a quincy shouting bankai all the time..
So far it seems a mess. Maybe the story has sense but I can't see it. I was convinced that Ichigo was a shinigami. Now it turns out that he wasn't. And in the light of this new "truth" I can't reason what actually happened in the previous arcs. Which leaves me unsatisfied and disappointed.
Now, I've figured that when it comes to stories you have to turn a blind eye to many things if you wish to be entertained. But with Bleach my feeling is that you have to turn a blind eye to more than 50% of it..

At least half of the fun of reading Bleach is seeing the disappointment of other readers.

Honestly mvass, I was expecting you to be the first in line in pointing out all the flaws and contradictions in that story but there you go stepping out of character 
I stopped reading after the aizen arc and was hoping for a story breakdown/bashing.

Bleach is perfectly logical once you realize that it's not about the plot, but about causing reactions in the readers. Surprise, disappointment, "I'm dropping this... see you next week!", etc.

There's so much wrong here it left me dazed a couple of seconds. First, it's actually all about the plot, this is so clear that I'm not even gonna bother with arguments. Secondly, fiction (not only bleach) is about causing the reader to react, so you just stated the obvious. Thirdly, if the manga writer sought to disappoint the readers then he definetly succeeded, although that can hardly be the case.

No, but it's how Bleach is best enjoyed. Take, for example, Byakuya's recent death. Everyone thought he was actually going to die. But in a brilliant Kubotroll, he didn't, enraging audiences. If you look at the story, it's poorly done. But if you look at the audience reaction, that's where the real spectacle is.

That Blazblue episode. My god that was awesome. As far as filler go, this was the second best I'v seen. And that pokemon reference, just
But really, Kyokai No Kanata. Episode 6. WATCH IT. RIGHT NOW.
Just stop whatever you're doing. Watch Kyokai No Kanata episode 6.
Don't worry about seeing any of the previous episodes or anything, just go watch episode 6. You can thank me later.
What I would give to have the whole series in this format, just bloody brilliant I tell you! This takes the spot for the best filler episode, EVER to have existed, hands down. Just, glorious!
