As good or extraordinary are ideas in the latest posts, let's not get carried away and stick to the original plan of ~5 amendments that the TOH community already has had hard time agreeing upon.

Give to familiar instant call and creeping will be fine for demon
and really funny
Not many change but one really important..we don't change in this way the balance or the strengh of the faction but we open many new tactic in combat

Uhh.. While the creeping would be good that could cause a mess in hero battles. I could be wrong, never was much of an inferno player.

Just curious... never heard much feed back one way or other about my skill tree idea?

Since everyone seemed to like the balance of the HOF skill tree... and there seems to be tons of problems with the TOTE skill wheel.. why cant we just import and use the HOF skill wheel/tree in the TOH MOD.   That would be much simpler then trying to tweak this skill for this race or that one etc etc... it solves all the problems in one clean and easy move.  Thoughts?

I like very much new ToTe skill tree. So far here only DV is very unbalanced.
 Warpath can be so strong on smal maps where you have few battles per turn...but not on big.
 Flaming arrows is important only if you have War machines too. I dont think its unbalance game so much...but are very good for short map.
 Stalker are so good on maps where have strong guards and other races cant kill them so early...but in most smal War Machines maps Stalker are not better or weak from War Machines+Flaming arrows.
 Arcane archers are so strong...and so evil in any map

I dont see big reason for this MoD...when ppl can easy ban DV for final battle (i'm not sure its good idea).
Tote is cool and i like him very much. Only real crap here is how you get random spel from utopia not from same skill what you have alredy.

I dont want perfect "balanced" game i want interest game and ToTe give crazy much option for diferent play.

All right, it seems that discussion has ceased. Let's proceed then with actual creation of the TOH MOD. At this point it will consist of 5 amendments:

1. Invisibility cut to 2 turns.
2. DV forumula changed as suggested.
3. Flaming arrows prerequisites as suggested by Zilo with minor tweaks.
4. Warpath cut to 120 movement points.
5. Arcane archers with force arrow ability removed.

We will see how it gets accepted.

Master Cepheues, are you still eager to help the community with modding?

P.s. To Jinxer and others - we are going the middle way between HOF skilltree and MOD with MANY changes. Personally, I think that HOF skilltree was way better balanced but the community has decided differently.

Yep  Just two things: I don't believe Flaming Arrows can be edited (apart from prerequisites), and Warpath has a slightly different movement points mechanism in the data files - the value listed is 350, so 350 = 100.

Write down the exact changes you want and I'll make them, e.g. new prerequisites for Flaming Arrows

I'll probably have to get used to the new dungeon standards. Could have many suicides without it

One question though. What about hourglass? I seem to recall that 3 turns were just enough to break week 3. I'm not an hg maniac but I'm curious.

Actually if we do that... why don't we all go back to playing hof lol ?
