Ironically enough, she is. The character in Dota is a burst damage nuker called Lina Inverse (name) the Slayer (hero class) apparently after some anime character I don't know.

Pretty, isn't it? 
Always liked Asuka in the series, one of the best developed characters out there. Like so many other's her psyche is a complete mess but she still has compassion. And can't forget that the way her story ends(manga has better) is so ironic.

Bah, Rei is just a perfect girl doing everything you order her to. Who would like her?
As a character Rei is boring. There are millions of characters like her.
Asuka is unique.

mine can't even go to 32-bit graphics and only has 16 and 24 bit and I can't play spore because of it but it didn't complain about my video card sucking like my friends computer

Rei is much more original of a character than Asuka. Rei practically invented the emotionless girl trope. Asuka is just a generic tsundere.
