Norway got a new law!
Today at this very date(Wednesday 11th June 2008) Norway did a modification of the laws concerning marriage. Now it is no longer restricted to opposite gender marriage, along gay-marriage is now 100% equal in rights of all terms.
Meaning all same-sex that get married now gets equal rigth to Assisted reproductive technology(i know there is better words for it  ) as a Heterosexual married couple.
My opinion: IT IS GOOD! Its about dam time it got trough. The discrimination must be "execute/purged/etc" out of the world sooner or later, it cannot go on like this! It was afterall what replaced racisme...........

It's a horrible law to tell the truth, but it's not like without that law gay couples would never live together

It is just there for equal rigths......... And i seriusly can't see why its better with parents of opposite gender to raise kids.
I cannot see why it is worse with parents of the same gender to raise kids.
Homosexual parents allready happend, get over it.
Note: hating people who loves the same gender kind of replaced ye old skincolor racisme.

I'm responding to the statement that kids will laugh at other kids with one mother and one father. I don't quite understand why those children would be treated with animosity as opposed to children of same sex parents, who unfortunately will be targeted by the intolerant.
A long time ago I was aruging about the rights of homosexual couples to adopt children with a friend of mine who happened to be adopted ( who also had quite a few problems due to a strained relationship with his adopted father). It went back and forth until he said "look how screwed up the kids will be with parents like that." I countered with "Oh yeah? Your folks are straight and look how you turned out." Sometimes it's nice to win an argument but what a pyrrhic victory...

I woun't legalize "gayism", in my country we are verry anti gay people. THey are some guys with a problem. I'm sorry to say that, especially since sometimes it's not their fault.
Those laws will only encourage further one-gender marriages, as well as "comedy" movies.

Sad it is to see another cilvilised, european country surrender to deviant whishes of a loud screaming, aggresive minority. Noone cares about the good of children, why should they. If that is your idea of a perfect world, know that I reject it. I find it simply repugnant. What next, legalisation of pedophilia? I you are Europeans, then I feel ashamed being one as well.

Not only I will not get over it, but also exploit every occasion to undermine this aberrant ideology and blind following of 'freedom & equality' that does not regard its costs, and look forward to seeing such laws undone, for the sake of societies under them.
I hope Norway will get back to its senses and undo this legislation. The sooner the better.
My utmost respect to the 1/3 of norwegian parliament that voted against.
