"Now would be the time" Boris said, and pointed his staff at The Yellowish bubble which held Al'Quil. As if a suddenly, unknown wind came from behind the party, the Bubble was blown forward. Boris was closely followed by Hans, who was nearly unnoticable because of the Enormous load he was carrying, and Grim, who, as heaviliy loaded as Hans, Followed by fresh entheusiasm. The came Shandina, who eyed the Yellow bubble with great suspicion. Karla lagged behind, as if she wished to escape the party, but Karla knew that if she did, she had no chance of becoming Karl again.

A few hours later Grim, found remains of a Campsite, blown apart by the Cyclone. Four pairs of footprints were seen, all of which headed to the South-East, back to Agliath. Our heroes reluctantly began to head back to Algiath by a long detour, following the footprints. Their hike was suddenly interrupted by terribly cry:

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"
Boris wheeled round

"What was that? A bear?"
"Sawnded moar loike a Howrnbeest ta mee" Grim grunted
"Nah, it was Auntie Yacintha" Hans said "She works as a Fishmonger in Algadean and-"
"IT WAS ME YOU FOOLS!" a familiar voice screeched, from over the hill "AND YOU-"

Boris, Hans and Grim ran back up the hill and saw Karla, her head as red as her scarlet robes, looking extremely furious

"DO. NOT. EVER. DARE. TO. SIT ON MY BLOODY HEAD AGAIN, YOU INBRED!" She shouted.

Apparently, Shandina had attempted to jump on Karla's head, when she and Karla lagged behind the three men.

Shandina looked both shocked and furious and seemed to grab a flask from her belt, but Grim was able to stop the oncoming fight before it started.

"Ya cahn set on mee hed, lassie"

Shandina quickly restored her facial-expression from Angry to sweet and gladly jumped on Grim's shoulders. The Party continued, but not before Karla silently mumbled something about "pissant Elven Alchemists."

(OOC- Italic is for the chars feeling a.k.a. 1st person)
1. The indignity of it all

The cold morning driven by the cold wind of the day made the tents where the orc's held they're captives to flutter in a high wind.
Huld still had cold feet from the night in the tent.

His thick fur on his feet had kept him warm without the need to use magic.

Huld did not dare use his magic to escape, for the brutes were on guard and any attempt of a spell would not get through they're thick skins.

He also suspected that this tent was made of dragon skin and any attempt wold be useless.

As the village woke, a buzz of excitement came in the town as though a swarm had come to ravage the orcs.

Huld knew he would not have such luck.

When the noises of life came some orcs came to inspect the prisoners.

The bigger orc asked the other slightly shorter orc.

"Who do you think gets to put up a good show with the catapult?"

"I say the short one will." said the orcs companion.

"I duno he wont have so much guts at his landing site..." the big orc said.

"Meaning less to clean up!" the other said as he sharpened a knife on the grind stone.

The other orc seemed to take up his point and untied the tent mouth.

Huld reluctantly trudged out and was led through a cheering mob of orcs to the highest hill.

As the orcs cheers died out as the hill's summit was reached i saw one of the bulkiest thing in the orc camp.

A catapult had been set up by the orcs. It towered menacingly its crudely build it resembled a trebuchet built from pieces of bone, wood and any salvaged armor.

The catapult tensed and i was lifted in the hold where rocks were ussualy put. Now he was projectile.

All of his weapons had been taken by the orcs

Good, at least i wont stab myself when i land...

As the big orc cut the rope loose Huld went flying through the air.

It was happening so slow Huld had a view of all the surounding
lands.
Huld felt the magic wind of heat and began twisting his fingers as rapidly as he could causing a hot wind to mix in the cold.

A small tornado was creating to break my fall only...

A ball of magic energy was gathering in the sky and my small tornado got big to the point of swallowing the whole city.

Huld swirled in the air taken away by the wind. More people started to join Huld.
As Huld watches his surroundings for a couple of hours, when he is hit by a piece of furniture and knocked out of the tornadoes swirl.

The now unconscious Huld is propelled a few miles away by the impact
and land in one of the pine trees leading away from the cave mouth.

Huld is woken by a pecking on his forehead. His pigeon!

Huld managed to balance on the branches and is handed a letter.

"Dear, Huld
If you are reading this you have survived being catapulted by the orcs. The mongrels must have taken some of your equipment too. This is one of the new inventions of the cook mage academy. Use it wisely. Your king."

To Hulds delight he reads further down and sees engravings of swords and armor and a crossbow.

He speaks a few words and a crossbow and a short sword popped out of the letter.

In the distance he could see a few figures that were at the cave mouth.

No one notices Huld and he prepares to jump down. He stands upright when *Crack* the branch breaks.

 The indignity of it all!

It didn't take long for Nathan to be awoken from his sleep. Though, with a grin, he rolled over, rising as fast he could, grabbing his nearby belongings. Upon reaching a fully vertical position, he gets ready to run.

"Haha! What a nice night that was, right Robert!?"

Nathan took no effort to be quiet with his words. He takes a moment to listen for the bear, but it can still be heard sleeping deeply. He returns to a normal posture.

"Well, I suppose we should get out of here before that bear actually does wake up. Would've been fun though, running back out of the cave, past the others who might take a little while wondering what we were running for, until it dawns on them, 'Oh, right. The bear.' Though, I do suppose we could do it anyway. If it sounds good to you, take lead. I'll follow."

Nathan starts walking out of the cave.

As Huld fell down he has no chance to find his flow with the magic winds.

Then Huld crashes into the leafy ground. The sickening impact with the ground made Huld unsteady for a few seconds as he uprighted himself He looked up at the branches of the tree. Huld was relieved at his survival.

To late Huld realized that the mass twigs he had watched so dreamily was bearing the weight of an enormous branch.

*Crack* The small twigs gave way to the branch and landed on Huld who was knocked cold...

Robert Looked a bit funny at Nathan. So he was to share the company with madness before they continued their journey... But hey! If that's what it took to get to Barry's cove, then that's what it took, he figured. No sense in complaining or reasoning.

"Hey, Nathan! How about we prepare some food for breakfast? Like... You go fetch some herbs and... Wait, no, scratch that. How about you gather some wood, while i'll get started with what we have?" he suggested.

He wouldn't dream of touching a mushroom considered safe by that man. He'd probably be hallucinating or muttering things like purple Jeremies and pink Shalans attacking cloud fortresses and that wouldn't end well in any case.

Robert pu on a little cheery tune as he pulled out the rations... Away from the cave entrance... Can't have that bear wanting a snack of ours!

When he pulled out some of the pottery, he suddenly noticed a midget falling from a tree. "You know what, Nathan? How about you take care of the food, while I take care of falling midgets." Robert then declared loudly.

He went to the halfling lying on the ground and lifted him, unsure of what to do next...

Still unconscious Huld was prodded gently by Robert.

With no sound from the half-ling he had lifted Huld up and dragged the him next to the cave mouth.

Robert had some suspicions of the half-ling. Unsure if he was a threat or harmless Robert ties up and props Huld up next to the cave wall.

Huld feels nothing of what is happening but is far away in his mind...

It was mid-summer and the green hills and blue stream was all that could be seen from the distance. At close range it could clearly be seen that the half-ling settlement was busy with the usual morning action. Huld was at the stream pouring over the map he had crafted himself of the surrounding lands. Another short figure walked close to Huld who had taken his position. A large rock which had been rounded by the rivers flow for the years. This was where Huld usually did his work ,sitting on an old log writing maps or discerning the meaning of the orcish behavior from his scouting spying. The king of the half-lings, Broocks, approached Huld.
"The orcs have been silent for a long time..." said Broocks scowling at the bright rays that bothered his eyes.
"Infighting..." Mumbled Huld still pouring over the map.
"Ahhh..." said Broocks seemingly taking a good piece of bother off his heart.
"I think we can put the sword in the scabbard for the moment" said Broocks now siting down on the grassy bank."The tall one that came a couple of days ago?"
Huld looked up at Broocks."What of him?"
"He seemed a nice fellow his stories where most interesting if what he says is true we need to find more of the land there" said Broocks.
"Well i think its time i got a vacation" Huld smiles at the prospect of seeing something new apart from the hills of his home.
"I will appoint a replacement for you and..." Broocks paused and looked at his cloak.
It was white as the first snow and was his pride.
He pulled it off himself and flapped it once.
It turned into a white pigeon.
"You will risk much in these new lands and if you are not to return than at least i will know how part of your journey went." said Brooks handing Huld the pigeon.
Broocks walked toward the busy street and turned.
"Fare, thee well, Huld, the Wary."

"Bah!" Karla snapped

"We have been following these bloody tracks for hours no. Too uch time wasted for the only intellect in the whole bloody party!!" She whined.
"Who's the only intellect?"  I asked her, raising an eyebrow

Karla turned away, as if she didn't want to tell me. However, she quite audably mumbled "Me." and I understood she was back to normal.

With Grim occupied with Shandina, me and Hans where busy tracking down the four unknown persons..; It wasn't easy, as neither I or Hans were decent trackers. Eventually, we decided to realease Al'Quil from the bubble. He awoke with a big yawn

"Haaaaw, I've had a nice nap... Shandina?" He said, looking bewildered, noticing he wasn't at camp anymore? However, he forgot to put up his 'Dumb Barb' act, which made Karla cry:

"Wait a sec, it speaks??? So it is Human after all!"
"Hey, a bit respect for my friend, will you?!" Shandina snapped, as she jumped of Grim's head.
"Shut Up Inbred, Do mingle in my arguements!"
"Inbred??? I will if you keep insulting us, you haughty hag!"
"Hag??? You will pay for that Elven Mutant!"

Karla in her fury fired a few missiles at Shandina, which all missed. One of the Missiles though went into the leaf-part of a tree and suddenly a Cry of both fear and Pain was heard!

A Man fell out of the three, and Boris, Grim, Shandina, Al'Quil and Hans raced to the fallen man, leaving Karla mumbling to herself: "Typical. These morons don't give me a moment of attention. Pffff"

Al'Quil, Shandina and Grim recognized the man at once: "GOLAW!" the three of them cried, looking at the unconsious body. Shadina met his pulse at once
"He's alive, I will be able to revive him with a small potion of mine" she, said as she began searching for it.
"Hee's ey Teev!" Grim said "Wee boath arr mamburs uf teh Athkatla Teev's Gild! Hew Doo Ye Knuew hem?" He asked Al'Quil.

"Quite simple" Al'Quil replied calmly, as Shandina poured a Azure-coloured potion into Golaw's mouth. "He's a member of our party."

So... is he alive?
A voice said.

Huld thought to himself I think im alive. At least i cant feel myself dieing

A different voice responded but Hulds attention to him was minimal

Am i tied?
Huld explored his surroundings using his senses.

Theres a draft... and its cold. Very cold. Is that growling?
Damned fools! They should have at least taken the bother to kill the old inhabitants of the cave! Well il sit here and pretend to be unconcious.I cannot risk being captured by bandits, or worse orcs...

"So... Is he alive?" Jeremy asked.

Robert grinned. "No, I tied up this corpse I found in the neck of the woods, because you know that the most common cause of death in the forest are random corpses lying around." He said. "Now, you're our leader, so I think you should talk to him and I'll just stand by here, in case he decides to do something nasty." Robert then said.

Halflings usually were nice people, but common sense tells you that people falling from the sky are... Well, Robert just didn't trust that phenomenon, since his common sense was still trying to comprehend what just happened.

Robert then came with the idea to look intimidating enough to force a reaction from the tiny man. he went to sit on a hollow stump and drew his rapier. He acted as if he was polishing it with a rock, which is a very threatening thing to look at when you just fell from the sky and wake up while tied up. He didn't have a polishing rock, but Robert figured noone'd notice the difference or the fact that a rapier actually doesn't need sharpening, since it's a stabbing weapon...

Damn, my reflex gave it way, well an interrogation would not last long even if these brigands were adept at it.

The soft thuds of paws coming from the cave gave Huld the time on how long he had to keep cool.

These manlings were tall indeed but the first one looked menacing with a sword, that he was slowly sharpening.

*Screech**Pause**Screech**pause*

Huld shivered. Letting the man gain confidence at his attempt at intimidating a poor defenseless and very fat half-ling.
Hah lets see how well you can slash me with that! Its to thin to bear contact with another blade, let alone an orcish axe.

Huld whimpered and started edging back. He could spare himself from being grinned for more "information" if they think they are dealing with a coward.

The thing in the cave must have a few more seconds and we will see how he can fare with a beast that size.

Al'Quil looked at Golaw as Shandina poured a potion into him.
"The potion should work almost instantly for humans." Shandina said
"Yeah, for humans..." Al'Quil thought to himself "..but is he a human?"

First there was no reaction from Golaw, so Al'Quil figured out a way to wake him up. In movements Al'Quil had gotten his pants down and started pissing on Golaw.
"Ahh, what a relief..." Al'Quil said.
The other people seemed to be surpried at first, while Shandina just looked at Golaw and poked him to see if there was any reaction from him. Just when Karla was about to sayshout something, it came a sound from Golaw.
""What a relief" huh? I hope your prepared to die you big baffoon!" Golaw shouted.
Within seconds Golaw was on his feets and attacked Al'Quil with his claws. Al'Quil dodged the attack still pissing and looked around to see where his axe was.
Golaw attacked again, and Al'Quil, who had no weapon at hand and was busy pissing, was forced to dodge the blow again. After the next attack Al'Quil figured out a way to attack, and aimed to use his piss to hit Golaw's face. Golaw, half surprised, dodged the piss, which instead hit the legs of Karla.
"YOU..." Karla started and her hands bursted into flames "..GOD DAMN IMBRED IMBACILES!"

Golaw realized that Karla was a much bigger threat than Al'Quil, and now both was busy dodging magical attacks from Karla.
"Hoy! Easy there Elise, you might accendentily kill someone with your magic!" Golaw shouted in the confusion, and mistaked Karla for his half-succumbus party member Elise.

Al'Quil finally stopped pissing and got his pants on quickly, before charging the mad woman who obivously was in her time of the month. Dodging fireballs on the way Al'Quil prepared to attack the woman with nothing but his fists alone, but cause of his size and strength that would probally be enough to knock out the woman.

Golaw also started to charge against Karla, and his hand movement hinted that he was thinking of hitting her uncouncious as well.

As Shalan walked back to the cave he saw both Jeremy and Robert sitting outside, with Robert carelessly sliding a rock down his sword. Shalan saw that the food wasn't even finished. As he came near them he saw that a little man was tied up at the entrance of the cave. Shalan was just about to ask who that was when he came eye to eye with the should-be-sleeping bear. He was partly shocked (and the bear seemed rather disturbed too) but he tried to act quickly. With a quick call he tried to get Robert's and Jeremy's attention to the bear behind them.

"ENOUGH!" Boris declared.

Since neither Golaw nor Karla above to his command, Boris was Forced to Interfere and cried "PENITENZIAGITE!" pointing his staff on the iar between Karla and Golaw. As if an invisible wave came from that spot, both Golaw and Karla flew away from eachother. Due to his fast reflexes Golaw was able to land on his feet; Karla was not that lucky; she flew backwards, and crashed on an Oak Tree. She was inconsious. Boris acted quickly.

"Shandina, try reviving Karla, do you?"

As Shandina (reluctantly) made her way to Unconsious Karl with the remainder of her potion, Boris turned towards Golaw.

"We do not seek enimities, Thief." He said, trying not to sound agitated. We just wish to return your friends and have a chat with you and your party?

"Who's asking?" Golaw said, raising an eyebrow.

-"Boris of Lakely, and his companions Grim Hellbeard, Hans Hansen of Athkathla and Kar- Karla Kuddweed"

Golaw growled "Hmmpf... Very well, I'll lead you to our camp" he said grudgingly, trying to stamp on Al'Quil's feet as he passed him. Clearly this party wasn't as harmonious and unified as Boris expected it to be...

Jeremy was a tiny bit shocked by the sight of the bear and involuntarily letting go of the little man. The little man fell down limp on the ground; obviously playing dead.

After a very brief moment of erratic thinking Jeremy said with utmost uncertainity: "Play dead?"

Back in the camp

Shandina, Golaw and Al'Quil was sitting in their tent talking to each other.

"Good going, Redmoon, what's next? You gonna join a mad necromancer's army and lay siege to the world?" Golaw said.
"If the necromancer gives the right pay, then I will. Besides, its not like it was my fault. I had nothing to do with that scroll at all, like a certain other person I know." Al'Quil calmely answered back.
"Well, I had no idea it was gonna summon armageddon to us! Hurricanes, eathquakes and volcanic explosions, only thing missing was a tsunami!" Golaw shouted.
"...The Tsunami will arrive in one week or so..." Shandina said.
"Wait, what?!" Golaw asked.
"The scroll had a tsunami trap as well, it will come from the sea in not so long and it will be huge enough for it to be able to get to the point where the trap was triggered." Shandina answered, somewhat disturbed.
"Well, that is just perfect! It really was armageddon!" Golaw Exclaimed.
"..." - Al'Quil Redmoon
"What?" Golaw looked irritated on Al'Quil
"We got to find the others fast, and get away from here as soon as possible..."
"That's nothing to worry about!" Shandina said entusiastic "The others are probally looking for us at this very movement!"
Both Al'Quil and Golaw looked on Shandina with surprise
"Ehm...I hate to break this to you Shandina, but if you haven't noticed, the only sensible members of this party is me and Redmoon here." Golaw said "I mean, take Elise, she is only with us cause we drag her with us, which was the deal we made with the village we saved from her, and she is only interested in satisfing her own needs and drifts."
Al'Quil nodded "True..."
"And then there is Richard..." Golaw continued "...Who is only in this because he get to have bodyguards like Al'Quil and me, one hell of an adventure which means a good story, and there is a lot of good looking womans on our way so he can get crushed in the mud for his perversety."
Again Al'Quil nodded "Still not sure why we brought him along..."
"And our leader, Aldrianda" Golaw said "Whi-"
"Which explains itself as she is a little idiot who thinks everything will be okay in the end." Al'Quil interupted.
"...right..." Golaw said somewhat annoyed "...btw, what happened with the scroll?"
"I had it" Shandina said "...but I lost it in the hurricane...that Nether scroll..."

Suddenly, Al'Quil heard the sound of cups of water being clashed together, and Golaw's head quickly turned to the opening of the tent. Golaw pointed at tent opening, and Al'Quil made hand signs to him before continuing the conversation.
"That thing would've been able to power up Shandina's staff enough to cure her of that child state." Al'Quil stated.
Golaw sneaked towards the tent opening.
"...No.." Shandina replied "..The nether scroll is a tool used to give the ready immense magical power. They are normally made my magicans that do not want their power to be lost to world, so they pour all of their magical power into the scroll, but they also often rig the scrolls, so only worthy induvidals can use it."
Golaw was at the tent opening.
"Where did you get it anyway, Golaw?" Al'Quil asked
"I..." Golaw started "GOTCHA!" he said as he pierced the tent with his hands, grabbed the gnome Hans, and lifted him up so he dropped the board with the tree cups of turnip tea on the ground.
"Ohh..." Al'Quil said "It was only the midget."
"D-do you want tea?" Hans asked nerveously.
"No, now begon!" Golaw said and placed the gnome on the ground.
"Actually" Shandina said "I would like a cup of tea!"
Al'Quil nodded "As lon as its free."
Golaw just looked on his two companions "Right...two cups of turnip tea..."
"R-right!" Hans said, gathered the remains of the cups that had fell to the ground and ran back to the half-elf and the dwarf.

"How long do you think he stood there?" Al'Quil asked
"Following the footsteps to the tent, long enough to hear our whole conversation." Golaw replied.
"I see..." Al'Quil said "...that's not good, seing as they were the ones who originally had that nether scroll..."
"Should I kill them while they are sleeping?" Golaw asked
"...No...Try not to provoce them, lets try to act like we had found the nether scroll already before we came to Agilath. That is the best idea for now I think" Al'Quil said.
"Right..." Golaw nodded
"Its not like they are that mistrusting of us..." Shandina said.

"They are the Thieves of the Nether Scroll" Hans said, as he poured the Turnip tea into Copper cups.
"Bah" Karla said, whilst leaning to a tree "never trusted those simians."
"Who can you trust Milady, Who can you trust these days?" Hans said and he picked up the tray.
"I don't know, Gnomeling" Karla said disdainfully "And do not call me 'Milady'."
"Why not?" Hans asked, walking over to the Tent "Your chest clearly tell otherwi-"

*ZWOOM* a Fireball flew past Hans's head, missing his head by a few inches.

"KARL!" I said "Do not make me..."

Karla was suddenly reminded of her last Magical Battle with Boris, inwhich she had been proven to be Inferior to Boris' Elven Magic, and reluctantly said: "As you wish, Mahsta". She turned away from me.

I decided to walk over the Tent to question Al'Quil, Shandina and Golaw yet again, but then I heared Karla's snide voice again. "Hey, Half-Elf, you might need to see this... if you consider yourself worthy"

Karla pointed to a figure on the other side of the clearing.. and humanoid for with wings..

I briskly walked over to the Tent and immedeately said: "Golaw, you need to come with me."

Golaw, half-curious, half-agitated followed me to Karla. I pointed to the same figure Karla had pointed to earlier. "Do you know this person?" I said.

"Yes," said Golaw, grudgingly "That's Elise."

Ethan comes walking into the area, holding a bowl containing their food.

"Food is done. Well, it might be done. Perhaps overly done." Ethan notices the bear, then frowns. "I missed the awakening? Well, that is sad. I could have had such fun with it, too. Well, I suppose I still could, but I guess I won't."

Ethan casts a spell on the bear, and it eases down, into a more friendly state. Ethan walks over to the bear, and gives it a nice pat on the back. He sets the bowl of food in front of the bear, allowing it to have its fill. He then notices the small humanoid.

"So, they have run out of the normal-sized bandits, and they are sending in those now? Should have fed that to the bear."
