Poll Question: [Poll] Leadership for Necromancers
I was thinking what to do Necros Leadership so it would be more useful and i realized that Necromancers where(and are) very similar to Wizards and they have ArtificialGlory for golems so why their brothers could not have or invent same skill.
The Undead AG could work for all undead or just Vampires for ex.
And instead Empathy there should be a skill where when Bad morale is trrigerd for enemy creature the Necro hero moves 10% forward along the ATB bar.

No, Necro creatures should NEVER get morale.
However, Leadership for Necros should decrease the enemy's Morale by 1.
That would be logical to do, since Leadership is useless for Necro.
Why the Barbarians got Shatter Skills instead of normal magic skills (because they were useless) and Necro doesn't get something for Leadership

Hmm thats a nice idea change Leadership into Intimidate that would lower on Expert Lvl enemy morale by -3

With some luck and banshee's howl, you could decrease enemy morale with 10, in that case...

lower morale by 3 is too powerful
although i agree that something should be done about necromancers leadership , and some of the changes mentioned would be great

The thing is, the necromancers are balanced (by and large). Changing leadership for them would improve them versus other factions, messing with the balance. You'd have to make a case they are weaker than other factions and need boosting to get a change like this in.
Although, I guess if no one is taking leadership now, they might not take it in the future if its offered but it still gives more choices and more opportunities to increase your power v other factions relative power....not sure.

Oh come on, a skill that pops up at 2% chances won't be so tough...
And what's so great in reducing the Morale by some points?

You have got a point here. Even if you get "Shatter Leadership" it may still not be useful enough to be chosen. It makes more sense, however .

Leader ship, may be renamed to Fear Control or something, and be main skill of Death Knight -3 enemy morale or -3 initiative.

I'd say, as reducing enemy morale is kind of the Necro's thing in HoMM5, why not? For one it'd be an excellent way to counter Retribution Knights, should you be facing Haven. On the other hand, it'd be just as easy to throw Leadership out of the ring for Necro alltogether and raise the chances for Luck, which should balance the scales quite a bit. I feel Necropolis as it is can use a but more OOMPH!, which they certainly aren't getting from creature stats at this point.

Maybe because if the Sorrow spell the Nival didn't change the Leadership into shatter Leadership because they calculated:
Let just not put any artiffacts into this account because having or not having them is luck gambling.You have a bad luck that when an enemy has Cloak of Death's Shadow,or Ring of the Broken Will and the other way around.
Banshee Howl -1
Spectral Dragons Death Stare -1
Sorrow at Expert Level -4
and its already -6 the enemy hero even when he takes ExpertLeadership +3, +2 from the creatures of the same faction in army and +1 booster from advanture Map its +6. So to add it comes to 0. All of those bonuses are easy and normaly gained by both sided. So worse case scenario only +2 normal bonus +4-6.
And if added Howl of terror -6 it is -5 for living one
Now in First addon and Hof there was an cap on Luck&Morale [-5,+5].Now in ToE there is no cap, i have seen Morale +11 and Luck -9, but in game and battle only -5, +5 is counted all the extra bonuses are just as an insurence for one way or another.
So the see that there is no need for making an ShatterLeadership, because player with some skills can decrease succsesfully enemys morale.
There is one flaw in this calculation, weaknes the living faction in ex. has guaranteed +6 Moral bonus from the beginning of combat the Undead only -1. The Necromancer must use it pressious turn on casting those spells or using Banshee Howl while he could cast more vital spell for his victory.
So ShatterLeadership would be nice but i think better would be havin Artificial Glory like effect for whole undead army or just Vampire. And Something opposite to Empathy is enemy creature has negative Morale effect, the Hero moves 10 % in positive direction on the Initiative scale. However, if an enemy creature suffers a positive Morale effect, the effect will be the opposite

Usually you won't cast Sorrow on EACH of your enemy stacks, it simply takes too many turns. You can use Ghost Dragons to cast it for you, though.

I got another idea to change Leadership to TERRIFY SCARE ability that would give a chance for Necro creatures to have Fear attack on melee attackescription(similiarites to gatting of Inferno
Basic: this ability gives 10% chance to Skeletons and Zombies to cause fear after attacking the enemy(the probablity should be calculated the same as for Paw Strike ability)
Advanced: 20% chance for Skeletons,Zombies, Ghosts, Vampires
Expert: 30% chance for Skeletons,Zombies, Ghosts, Vampires, Liches, Wraiths
Instead of Diplomacy->THREATEN only changed name it will work the same as diplomacy
Instead of Recruitment-> Herald of death
Insteed of Estates-> Haunted Estates(the hero give 350 gold and some random resource every day by haunting and scaring rich people. The random resource it should be mainly ore and wood so 25% for this type of resource and 10% chance for sulfur, mercury, gems, crystals or 150 extra gold)
Threaten + Dead Man's Curse -> Crippling Misfortune( when bad luck is triggerd on the enemys units they became so frightened that they miss with their attack, panic and won't attack, or it's attack will only 10% of normal damage)
Herlad Of death + Haunted Estates = Master of Haunting( 1 ghost or its upgrade will join the heroes per day or doubles the number of ghost in Haunted Mines(The it will be needed this skill)
