I thought Magical Immunity has a duration of 1 per spellpower? (I know, it's a lot but not for a Knight who has low spellpower)
I could be wrong though...Quote:

I think it was mainly of too many lucky shots and I had the boots of +1 Speed which did wonders

Necro really did get decimated in that fight, and I can't pinpoint why exactly. Yes, Sylvan got some lucky blows, but wow necro just didn't have a chance. I saw puppet come into play, not sure about whether mass slow, confusion, frenzy, phoenix and the like would have helped much as it didn't seem like the hero got much chance to cast. Necro troops are just so weak! Although I've seen a few replays where necro wins handily too, so maybe it was just a great sylvan build and lucky initiative and luck rolls?

The necromancer lost because he picked Attack and Luck instead of Defense, and then he used Puppet Master on dragons knowing that the enemy hero would move first and use Magic Immunity or Cleansing.
Necropolis = 0 morale, 0 attack, low initiative, low speed… you cannot pick offensive skills and hope to win. Defense is a must because every necro unit is going to take a lot more hits that it will deliver.

I disagree. I'm fairly convinced that the Windstrider Boots is what made that fight so one-sided. His windstrider boots let his unicorns and bladedancers both attack the first round. I went attack because I decided to go lichlords/skele archers to be able to beatdown on his ranged units, so I went archery and then also battle frenzy while I was at it since it's very good perk for necromancer. As far as luck, luck is not a bad skill for necro, especially in conjunction with attack, and I only ended up investing 1 skill in it anyway.
As far as the puppetmaster thing, you have to understand by this point I was already in horrible trouble, so yes, I decided to go with the gamble. His emerald dragons, unicorns, bladedancers, and drayds had all torn into my troops with righteous might before I could do anything. I didn't know that he had cleansing or magic immunity, and cleansing doesn't always work. I highly doubt casting a mass debuff or something would have saved me so I needed to be risky.

Well you're the boss but I completely disagree with you on that one. It doesn't matter I believe wether it would have changed the outcome of the game it's simply the fact that it was forbidden. And 12+ Attack on the initial charge of a Sylvan army? LOL your cosmic toast.

Relax, she said she forgot it - if she was guilty she wouldn't even mention it. Yeah it helped a lot but seeing how the battle went the outcome wouldn't be a lot different.
About the boots I'll think about it, they can be too strong in certain cases..

Well I wouldn't ban the boots. They are a huuuuuge help for Inferno (Devil from 7 to 8 speed! AWESOMESAUCE) but yeah I'm not the technican here.
Well if she forgot I it's ok but I still don't think it's cool.

And yes I forgot about Swift Mind - I thought it was banned only for Dungeon (or all magic factions)
And even without Swift Mind, I would have had Expert Leadership and something else or maybe even Empathy! (yes, I had to unlearn Leadership for Swift Mind). And seeing as the battle was not a close one...

It is completely irrelevant wether you would have won the match one way or another. You cheated. But that is how I see things. But yeah you didn't do it on purpose it seems so you're no cheater with the intention to cheat.
And Ash it's 100%-mastery of the oponent*spellpower or something for cleansing. Or something like that so it doesn't always work it depends on the mastery of the oponents curse and his spellpower. If you wouldn't have had that power feed from your druids it most certainly wouldn't have worked.
