Well I love the infernal hordes they're probably my favourite faction (eventhough I don't gate nearly enough with them) but I do think they have a hard time against most dark/light combos (namely Endurance+weakness) or Fortress and Stronghold for insane Defense and good (or outworldly if you have retribution facing a meager 2 defense) damage. Not that I think they're unbalanced I just think they have a hard time dishing out the damage they need to do fast enough since their units usually are pretty frail. I still love em though.

Inferno > Dark is very difficult for Stronghold to fight in these games even with shatter dark. Frenzy can really hurt, and so can mass slow. Puppet can't be cleared off without the tent perk. Add the mistresses that charm, and you can take out about three of their units basically.

Shatter Dark can do a lot to take the edge of Infernos Dark magic from my experience. Since you can reduce their SP to 1-2 if you have a decent SP booster (+3 gets you close to that more is practically a certain 1 SP) and having Frenzy last 1 turn instead of 2 is already a big help and it's not necessarily as devastating as 1 hit 1 stack cleared. Apart from your Puppet not really working (the unit will usually never get it's turn and it doesn't last long) and your succubi can be taken care of (I've seen the entire stack of 50 with endurance taken out by 1 lucky shot of the centaurs -_-).
No Shatter Dark does a lot to take the Edge of Inferno if you ask me. Of course if you can stall Stronghold long enough for the gates to arrive then maybe you stand a chance. Atleast that's my idea of the set up.

btw Azagal, from that Fortress vs Academy game, we actually both had Light + Summoning. I never used Light besides that one mass haste because you had Supress Light and it would have killed my mana, so I just stuck with phoenix/elementals/raise dead.
edit: btw if you're doing a late nighter, I feel rejuvenated for another game or two.

Ahhh . And here I thought I had wasted 2 skills (even though magic mirror payed off nicely in the end). Well fortunately for me the moment never quite build up for you (thanks a lot to you not having resurrection and battlerage and me having defense^^) still strange though.

Temple Duels (pass is 123), as publicized by Elvin. That's where the duel tournament is being held and, to clarify, I speak only of playing Elvin's duel map - a full game is too cumbersome. If you were playing ToH I don't know a lot about that.
Edit: You must have hamachi version 1.0.1.5.

Edit: About Temple Duels, it has 16 members, maybe that's the limit or Elvin closed it or something.

Cool, I will see to that once the TOH is over. Also, Im thrilled to say that yesterday I won my first MP game ever. After losing so much on the tourney, it made me so happy I almost cried.

Awesome . A nice apocalyptic touch to it. His resistance triggers were pretty good too though (of course it hardly mattered when facing 7 consecutive casts but hey )
