i'd say more work now but less work later.
its a change but Qp's did define HC, for better or for worse. Other forums just had other members serving a role of quality check. Perhaps its a welcome change; perhaps we have grown too attached to the idea of a qp.

I want QPs back... I know that ever since I made my first spam attack ever one month ago, I will never get out of flood protect and will always have post limit...
If Vals word is law, then we should rename it to Heroes Communism.
Im changing my signature to the Soviet HC for protest.

No JJ. You get (or rather "used to get", BAH!) these QPs because of it's content. Big posts (especially in the Temple) often contain much quality material.

Until then, guys, let's stop hurling complaints at the guy who devotes so much of his time to his passion for Heroes and enables us to share ours with others, too, okay? 
Also, the idea that this is a democracy is frankly ludicrous. Val runs this website, he pays for and maintains it, and as such the word of Val and his appointed representatives is in fact law. Internet forums are not, and never have been, democracies.

Yes, but that doesn't mean that you can use the post of other people as toilet paper. I mean, I could have shoveled my posts into a filthy, stinking latrine and achieve a bigger effect than posting them altogether.
Maybe I should do a "Xarfax" that should wake people up.

I'm sure the knowledge you imparted with the posts/benefit you imparted with the mods you created/whatever you did for your QPs is still there, isn't it?

Yes, Val's site = Val's rules. He has the right to make every person's avatar a picture of a naked goat taking a dump if he wants to, but that doesn't mean we have to be thrilled about it. It's no surprise that all the people that are okay with it are the ones whose presence in HC is centered around spamming the Volcanic Wastelands with their bad attempts of humor. They have 1000+ posts and 0 QP's. I'm sure they don't care in the least.
But apparently a few people got angry in some stupid VW thread over a -QP a few days ago and now that forum has devolved because of it. I recommended that Asheera and Pandora have a mud fight on live camera, but nobody thought that was a good idea.

Actually, I post occasionally in the VW for fun because it's an amusing way to pass the time. A lot of my posts are in the Library, the reason I joined HC. It's just fun to let off some steam from time to time. Things like assuming people who don't have QPs are Wasteland spammers is perhaps the reason the mods decided to get rid of QPs---->there's some food for thought.
The reason I don't have any QPs is because I never really felt a need to acquire them, I don't see the big deal, so feel free to call me biased but on the other side of the coin the most vocal complainers are the ones with many many QPs.

Joker, let me illustrate an analogy to help you understand my anger over this:
Let's say you're playing an RPG, and it's a really fun RPG. You sit down one day and play it one day, and then the game crashes, and somehow, all of your saved games are deleted. All of the items you've gained throughout the game are gone, all the quests you've unlocked were gone, everything is gone. Zero. Nothing.
Granted, it's not like the fact that you're games were deleted means that you never had fun playing. Playing them was still fun, but with everything gone, wouldn't you be pissed off? Even though it's a game and it's not going to impact your job or anything essential like that, you're still going to be upset about it, and that's how I feel here. I feel robbed and cheated, and I am not okay with it.
