Where have you heard that? I know the director said he's mad for the warcraft lore and won't change anything at all.
@Pawek, got no idea what you're talking about but I'll be sure to check it out if you give me a link.

For me, it's better be little skeptical what is coming and if it manages to pull it off, more the merrier I am.
That article is just crap, all the way down deadpool critic. I don't mind at all if story/style is more centered at Warcraft 1-3 rather than WoW. I HOPE it will be good and will probably gonna see it anyway but for now, can't say what we are getting.

TBH, Blizzard did so much retconning in Warcraft universe with WoW, that I just stoped caring for their canon. If it is a good movie, I will like it, despite the storyline change.

Okay, I've read it and can say that without a doubt the article is biased and full of snow.
I read it as well. I see the point of the article and I disagree to some extent.
I have faith in the fans and that they know that this is the origin story of Warcraft. So I hope that they do not expect pandas and worgen.

Well, one look at who they casted for Lex Luthor (and while we're at it Batman) was enough to make me not think of this movie too well.
Jesse Eisenberg did a good job actually.. at playing a different version of Heath Ledgers The Joker..
Most of the actors are actually doing pretty good jobs, sadly the story is somewhat .. boring and not about Batman V Superman. They fought for like 10 minuts..
The movie did not turn out as bad as I was led to believe. Afflect was a surprisingly good batman, superman was fine, Lex.. kind of miscast. He feels like an idealistic edgy bookwork. I like the tension behind the surface and his ruthlessness but he's just a wuss. Did some ballsy moves but you honestly feel like slapping him. He succeeded in what he aimed for but I don't like that approach.
Plot dragged on a bit but it was clear enough. Liked the visuals, the nods to man of steel, the references and batman's trippy dreams But as expected it uses too much cgi lightshow and messes up with character reasoning/motivations to push the plot. Often enough they make it look like a linear path when it just isn't. The 1% chance line made me facepalm, you will know when you see it. The showdown could have easily been prevented. The setup for the finishing strike at the end could have happened in.. safer ways. Hell why did they even have to lure x back to the city? What exactly was Lex's masterplan without having secured the thing first? Many little things that require suspension of disbelief. Also, the serious tone makes it hard to take the funny lines seriously. Or perhaps said lines are too silly for this kind of movie.

All the reviews of this movie made me excited for a Wonder Woman and a Batman movie but discouraged me enough to not see Snyder's new film. Thankfully, Kung Fu Panda 3 comes out in Poland the same day BvS does, so I'll watch it instead.

Gave The Revenant a shot and found it pretty good. Makes you lose the comfort of your everyday life and throws you into a world of savagery and primal violence. Felt an overwhelming feeling of futility of life in face of nature's currents, but with no uplifting ideal at the end of it, just survival and revenge.

Ah Warcraft movie, really high hopes for that one. Why?
1. Because Blizzard is orchestrating it.
2. Because Ragnar Lothbrok!
3. Because in spite of many negative opinions I think it does look good.
One of the most popular opinions is that the movie should've stayed full CGI. That wouldn't be bad but I think that Blizzard is trying the hybrid approach to see how it fares plus going full CGI would probably give the movie a nerdy cartoon tag, whereas with the way of the hybrid there's a chance that a lot of casual moviegoers will watch it (Blizzard said it themselves, they want to give fans something special, but they also want to attract more people).
This will be interesting, it will be a confrontation of childhood dreams vs adult cynism. A war of expactations vs actual delivery. I'm hyped and afraid at the same time
PS: Besides there's actualy nothing else interesting going on in the fantasy genre in the coming months...

That's an excellent reason to suck. Reference - the "story" part of Diablo III and StarCraft 2.

I liked Batman v Superman. Affleck was brutal. Gadot was hot. Cavill was superman . Eisenberg was more like Riddler than Luthor. It would've worked if they just named him Edward Nygma.

World of Tomorrow by Don Hertzfeldt is a short animation which I'd call sci-fi in the true sense of the word. I recommend sparing 15 minutes to it, definitely worth your time.
