Disney reportedly never even searched for a James Gunn replacement for Guardians 3. So the "firing" was just to get heat off their backs for a while.

I think the timing of his re-introduction is not random also. I've read a few opinions that Disney got some heat from core MCU fans with the whole Larson affair (Disney wasn't exactly happy about her self-serving outbreaks without their approval), so they officially announced this info now to soothe their anger (they initially wanted to wait after Suicide Squad 2 finishes shooting).

I think that movie is being remade purely because of the trillions of white males drooling over Harley Quinn.

Haven't watched that movie and not interested in the slightest on it, for some reason. And I'm white - and black at the same time.

You aren't missing much. But Gunn's version might turn out good if it borrows the guardians' vibe. Or if he goes full cutthroat, that's what makes the animated suicide squad films fun. Uneasy alliance, tables turned, lots of deaths.

Yes. Being a panda makes us immune to most racial and feminist stuff.
And went watching that Cap. Marvel thingy. While watching it, it happened that I ended up watching a movie with an actress who said the movie was not for men. So it spoiled a bit. The plot was terribly predictable. Like, COMPLETELY predictable. My eyes rolled so much that they stuck upwards (fixed them 3 days later).
Was that Lee Pace, btw?
And how many additional scenes were there?
And pop corns are too God damn expensive.

Even if it was slightly predictable, I find Captain Marvel entertaining. It makes me look forward to End Game that much more.

Who Said I hate her? I just said I saw her as an actress and that my subconscious told me she didn't like men watching her movies. I think it was something about a tosh regarding reporters of some kind. That seems to have happened, no need convincing anyone, as they can read by themselves, right? Including you.

Yes. That's the thing about the movie. It felt like it was a filler only. There was this idea that Cap Marvel was one of the most powerful heroes of Marvel. So I sort of expected her to have a very strong background, similar in fashion to what we had Iron Man and Cap America. But we also had this timeline thing to consider, eh.
