Isn't Brandon Routh the last guy to play big screen Superman? Also with the shortest run as Superman. Was it bad acting, bad directing or bad story that killed that movie anyway?

The action was boring and the story was dull.  Routh did OK for Superman but looked a little too young for the character.

As to Harry Potter, I heard they are going to split the last 10 minutes of DH: Part 2 in to 10 separate movies.  Keep milking the cow until it dies.

The story was just plain bad. The acting was mediocre, though Kevin Spacey was obviously awesome as usual.

I for one did not like that it was supposed to be a sequel to the older movies. I mean come on? :/
It would have been much better if they just made some "semi-remake", or like a new take on how he started out as Superman.
Yes something like Superman Begins. :-)

Nothing wrong with the acting, it was the story. And I don't care much for who the directors are, unless it's Tim Burton.

So I just wrote a really long paragraph that was both funny and witty on why you should watch "X-men First Class" but I accidentally hit the Clear Fields button (why do we even have that wtf Ňó?!) button (I blame the Whiskey I've had and the fact that it's 5:21 am).

Long Story short watch it. It's in perfect quality on the internet and in your local movie theater. Go watch it. Now. You can thank me later. It is great, has a lot of tension, is incredibly exciting and is just ****ing awesome. Do yourself a favour and listen to me.  Go watch it. This instant. If you're still reading this post you're already wasting precious time finding it and loading it up/time you could already use to be on your way to the movie theater. HOLY **** that's a great movie. Not just in comparission to the abomination that was origins but on it's own. Screw Ironman and other Marvel stuff X-Men Firstclass is where it's at.

Holy s*** that was awesome. Watch it with friends if you can (I used teamspeak to watch it with 3 of mine^^).

X-men: First Class

Great movie! I really like the guy who played Xavier!
I like how the mutants really corporated and comboed their abilities. Their old ship also looked much cooler than the current one.

Still lacks something for me though, might have been better if I watched it at a cinema and not some cheap download.

3.5 / 5 or 7 / 10 if you prefer that

edit: I came home from the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 at 03:30 about an hour ago and right now I guess I am a bit euforic, but I thought it was amazing and the best in the series!

I will make a real review tomorrow when I can reason in more objective ways.

So I've heard. I really want to check it out when it comes to Europe. Unfortunately I'll probably have to buy a 3D ticket if I want to see it in english (and there really is no other option for me because the german syncronizations are terrible and so much is lost if you don't watch it in the original language). Lets hope there is no 3D version T_T.

I don't get the whole 3D thing, I mean, sure, it was cool on animated films and stuff, but to make every single goddamn movie with cheap 3D effects? That's like adding ketchup to everything you eat, just doesn't work.

On another note, I recommend Exam for those who haven't seen it.

Well, to be fair 3D added a lot more DEPTH into the Harry Potter movie.

But we got free tickets in there on the premiere and I do NOT know if I would have payed over 15 euro for seeing it in 3D.

Movies that are specifically made for 3D are probably more worth the extra money.

3D for Captain America really didn't add anything except $2.00 to the price of the ticket.  It's also annoying to have to sit through an entire movie with the dorky looking glasses on too.

I loved that movie except that the young mutants acted even more immature than I do when I troll these forums. :/

But that old version of their "spaceship" looked awesome and I loved the young Xavier and that the mutants cooperated a lot more in this movie and used their squad powers together more.

Also I really liked that the germans actually spoke german etc. I HATE it when germans in like WW2 movies speak english with some ridiculous accent.

I loved the Russian and French as well. In fact, I loudly commented to my friend about it: "I like it that American movies speak other languages once in a while!"

Didn't really notice any blatant immaturity among the young mutants that I didn't understand.

And this magneto is amazing.

In fact, I love how Xavier is depicted as sort of naive and impractical, as opposed to Erik's pragmatic, realistic views and comes out as closer to a hero than Xavier does.
