you had this coming.

I honestly don't think that mashing up all the action stars in one film is great. it just gets messed up and there's no entertainment in watching that crap. they needed a better screenwriter for making such a film. now it's just a money milking machine. as is all those cheezy superhero films.

The point of that kind of action is never a deep and emotional story, it's simply fantastic entertainment! And I think they pulled it off great, the best true action movie in several years!

I'm always in for some violence for the sake of violence, wether someone killed off your entire family, you're a big ass american moron with agun soldier wasting some "terrorists", you have to throw down a dictator, you've got suspended from a case <insert more action plot cliches here> but the way they did The Expendables was awful. just awful. I'd rather watch some russian crap like Antikiller.

I heard you got bitten by a king cobra.
I did, after five days of agonising pain, the cobra died.

Your argument is invalid Kip, expendables do rock.

The only all star cast movie that I actually enjoyed was Tropic Thunder, without a doubt. I mean seriously, top notch acting from them all.

But sad to say it, didn't recognize Tom Cruise the first time round, I'm so dumb. (a little swearing)

And this. Every time I watch that punch it looks sooo real. <3 9quality is rather bad on the second one)

I saw Dredd.  Loved it.  Great adaption.  Unfortunately, it tanked financially so there probably won't be a sequal, which is a shame.

Free cinema at campus every monday, yay.

Saw Hunger Games today, was awesome imo. Digged the neo-renaissance (or whatever it was) look of the upper class.

I thought Hunger Games was OK, definitely not "awesome".  The ending in particular was weak.

Anything I see out with friends at cinema is awesome, especially when I don't pay anything.

Might've been a different story if I had rented it I dunno. I enjoyed it.

Good action flick, some very tense moments.

Well, I fully admit I also have a negative bias against youth fiction that is praised by the adult masses as though it were Shakespeare.  It's an unfortunate snotty, condescending personality trait I just can't seem to shake.

I just watched the "Looper" and it has an interesting concept, if you can ignore a few of the "logical holes" the movie has you will actually enjoy watching it....

Snow White and the Huntsman was not bad at all. An interesting reimagining of the classic story, with good visuals and a magnificent Charlize Theron as the evil sorceress queen. Chris Hemsworth is likable as usual and the dwarves were plain fun Unfortunately the pace is sometimes slow and some plot elements feel convenient but I didn't mind much.

I agree, Charlize was brilliant, and I have a hard time complimenting a blonde girl that has an IQ of a gifted retard.... On the other hand, that Kristen chick .... snow me running, whenever I see her face my PTSD kicks in and I have flashbacks of those pedophilic 200 yrs old vampires who dig teenage girls... Perfect flicks for guantanamo bay.....

For a long part of the movie I had not realized who she was as I hadn't seen her elsewhere - much less in twilight. Then it hit me and the forgettable to poor acting started to make sense But you don't watch the movie for her anyway, she might as well have died

Shakespear is basically medieval symbolic pornography.

I loved the setting in the Hunger Games. They really nailed it.
I've got Netflix for free right so i'm probably gonna watch a few films, including The Patriot for a school project about the American "revolution"/war of independence.

That's a little like watching Aliens for a school project about immigration reform.
