free mmos that are decent
Ya I am playing this new one (new to me) here. It's called "legends of the fist star". I think there is a sequel for it already but I am just playing with this one for now to get a feel for the system. According to screen shots the average level is 5 and I am not against hard level ups.
Any other good ones that are cool and indefinitely free? I don't want to have limits because I am not paying, I don't have anyway to pay online anyways.

daggoth I am having trouble believing that those games are free and have no perks to paying.. I can't see anywhere saying anything about money but the graphics are pretty good

twelve sky and shaiya is free, I guarantee it. You can make a free account at aeriagames and it will work on all those games, if you download and install them.

You can pay them and with that money you can level twice as fast, but that just leaves you more time doesn't it?

cool I am downloading it now, estimated 3 hours left to go but it will probably be less than that.

Compare it to what I was about to play xD
I might actually check out legends of fist star some day but I am at times a (can't think of the word) for graphics.

I know, I showed a screenshot of twelvesky 2.
The thing is: the sound and images are so awesome half my brain is shut off and the focus on pvp and the simple quests are so relaxing, it feels really nice altogether...

golly I am not going to sleep all weekend!! Between mario paint composer (my new projects are much nicer than the one I posted in HC DJ) and all of these games to get addicted to for FREE!!!

Well there are very few games completely free... most do have an Item Shop with special features to those who pay, of course. But you're not forced to use those and you can play without paying anything.
Or some games like Runes of Magic even let you exchange gold for diamonds (diamonds are needed to buy those special items, and are bought with RL money) at the Auction House, so if you farm enough you may get all features without paying anything at all.

I am not against these games doing things like selling diamonds for rl money and stuff as long as I can still get everything they can get, even if it takes 5 times the work or something.
There will come a time I will want to buy "diamonds" anyways but will still only play games where I do not have to pay to access features.
IMVU I tried and did not get past picking out stuff to wear (did not like much sorry) had a decent approach similar to "fill out survey get money, see who we advertise, get some money"
That's basically free just requires a bit of typing and or clicks and perhaps even seeing something that is cool sometimes.

I am actually down in history for a MMORPG called kingdom of loathing. It's not something I recommend to anyone here to play but it feels nice what I did and was capable of.
The developers were biased and stopped me from destroying their friends clans who were bug abusers since the beginning. I did the same thing they did and ended up with trillions. Reported the bug to developers, I was the only one who knew how to dual log in and dupe items and like I said, trillions.
Developers let them keep all their exploits but destroyed mine. I am on webpages for this as Celfious and Reznor

That page is a big part of the original phases of KOL. I came near then end and saw that bug exploiters were rewarded with 100000s times the things as real players had. That's okay in a small way but where they crossed the line is destroying everything they could that the honest players had.

****WarClan**** crushed months of work with one click of the mouse because I asked the leader to basically honor a verbal peace treaty and she was a little psychotic 14 year old girl that some pedo bug exploiter gave her control of the clan that was all glitch/bug meat.
We put in efforts, and sometimes real dollars for those "diamond" like things, and the developers of that game condoned the acts of 1,000,000 soldiers from bug clan to 1 soldier from hard dedicated players clan that pays and works hard.

father I tried your game first but it did not really work. Can you make anything of this? I installed 3 different things maybe more that came with the FW set up so I don't feel I missed anything.

I thought you all would like to check out my new girl friend she is cool and holds my money for me!
This game rocks and what makes it even better is it is free to play (though spending will get incentives, but you can just take surveys and stuff to get those credits like I will be doing for awhile.)
But ya this girl is so nice she holds my money and items and gives them back whenever I ask for them!
btw I am a higher level now.
