hmm...
Suicide the wusses way out.
A relative took his own life and left a living hell for his wife and kids. In other countries people fight a battle each and every day to survive and to live. Some of them would rather die of hunger than to do themselves in. Yet here (I'm in the States) some people are so damn selfish that they would rather kill themselves than face their life like a man. It would have been better for my relative to just kill his wife and daughters than to do what he did. Because he left his wife and kids to rot. He didn't care about them. He only cared about his petty problems.
Dante in his Inferno describes suicide as : "Turning into Sorrow what was made for joy."

Some people are very sensitive and can't live with the "big bad world"
The way people treat eachother. I often think the majority of people choose not to think about all the misery going on in the world. They have that "filter". Other don't and can't let go..and it builds and builds until they can't take it any longer.
I don't think it's cowardly. I am aware that every person has another perception of things and what may be a small thing to some is a big deal for others. I try not to be judgemental but fact is they do leave behind a huge mess which time can't heal. So my advice would be..talk to someone..preferably a stranger. They often can look at it objectively and give you a fresh outlook on life.

You speak truth, but this is not always the case.
Some people just don't "feel" like living anymore and kill themselves, some have low self esteem. Low self esteem in a way is a mental illness but it's also a psycholgical one.
Some though are crazies and do our goverment a favor by ending their existence so we don't have to pay for them to be put in an institution.
As for wusses I refer to the former group. Those who quit every thing in life because it didn't go their way.

Not crazies but like Huds says mentally ill & many reasons for it coming about.
A very small minority is an understatement & theres cases that are unbelievable you would be surprised Hudson how hard it is being curable.

I've seen pleanty of mentally ill people thank you, I lived with my sister, I've had her threaten my life on more than one occaision, and I've worked with others since. Incurable? That would depend on your definition of curing the person.

Ok Hudson it's really easy.
I didnt say it was impossible I meant it's harder.
All my life almost I been around them helping & all & alot are not that suicidal.
Theres only some that are usually those that dont live with thier parents & such.
Some that do.
All I am saying is that it's just alot harder is all.
We shouldnt even have to go in details though because it dont seem right.

Of course it's hard, but not impossible, nor something we should ignore, the main thing is to point out to others that it's not as simple as "the cowards way out" that's just an easy way of ignoring the reasons why that person may have reached that state.

That's a horrible way of thinking. While those very ill may want to end their lives, I don't think are society should just give up on them.
I suppose you'd be in a favor of "doctor assisted suicide too".

I agree with tigerangelz. My sister was suicidal, but I never gave up on her and she's finally better and enjoys life again!

So great when people can help alot also neglect can be tough because parents can neglect thier children where they live on thier own & only depends on thier friends cause like docters,case managers dont actually give a hoot at all but only thier paychecks.
Being locked up in institutions dont help either because they dont care.
Up to friends & people that care.
Not impossible a little more challenging but not impossible.

ALl parents shoul;d be like that unfortunately theres a good % that love thier children to death but dont show it at all & it can affect a child.
Especially if theres a drug or alcohol relation etc.
