After a valiant struggle Elvin fell to the Lord of Moria. As expected Zilo proved quite the adversary, alas the games were not as close as in arena play offs.
Replays
As necro vs haven I felt almost safe with my 25 defense but Lady luck had other plans. Zilo's empathy was outrageously acute, often I was waiting for a unit to play right after hero and a morale changed everything. Maybe I should have left the wraiths in the back, lack of frenzy did not help either.
As sylvan and having the advantage of initiative I scored some good hits on his dwarves but terrain bought him plenty of time to hold his defensive formation. In the end Ylthin's unicorns managed to slip through and it was over. Basic defense and 'bad' runes did not help much.
In final while I guessed his destructive plans and went for boneward and protection, zilo was cunning enough to also pursue light. His destructive output was considerable and so was his mana pool, not having summoning my undead eventually yielded.

Next came fiur's games, fun as always. There is one special thing about him, he uses crazy builds to catch you with your pants down and despises the mentor so he doesn't bother using it. The very fact that he does not use standard builds and precautions makes him an unpredictable opponent 
So first was my haven vs summoning sylvan. He had Ossir that worried me a bit and he also summoned a super-powerful phoenix but thankfully he lacked crystal/firetrap/barrier while I had outrageous defense, the right buffs and regeneration. Splitting the arcanes proved a liability but he did manage to shoot the griffins before they even acted 
Second I got academy versus the dwarves, amazing game. At first I started using arcane crystals offensively but halfway through I was overrun and had to change my tactics. Eventually his runes were depleted, tap runes unable to offer more mana - didn't think he'd ever run out of mana - and he didn't have a way to deal with a regenerating phoenix in his weakened state.
Finally we had an inferno versus sylvan match and man that was messy. I have absolutely no idea how I survived that one, there were mistakes from both sides with luck triggering constantly for both. His lack of defense showed.

Confirming Elvin's report, 2-1 it was. As usual, Elvin is really nice opponent to play with, although sadly all 3 games were one-sided slaughters.

I suppose that makes sense, summoning is not easy to use without sorcery or empathy.

Finished my first game with Larry Fanoga. It was my most interesting tourney duel for now. I was Inga against Orson... I had deja vu from finals with Zilo where I killed all army and couldn`t kill ghosts. Here the problematic unit were zombies .. I was on tails till the end and was unsure who will be the winner even though I was with nearly full army but with depleted runes. Larry had mark of the necromancer but I managed to keep his mana low not leaving him the chance to cast 3rd phoenix In the end I came victorious

Finished my games with karim that ended up in my favour.
Dwarves vs necro was a tough one. I used a typical might build against his destructive and thankfully dwarven luck, runic attunement and the right runes allowed my dwarves to endure. Halfway through the game I was trying to kill his indestructible zombies while he was leeching them for mana and casting like crazy. Satisfying game.
Second was my orcs versus necro, a very atypical game. He had camped and was shooting at me behind some well placed obstacles, he also had firetrap and a good phoenix that my shamans and hero were keeping at bay throughout the game. The flaw in his plan was that Garuna's special activates with summoned units too. Ironically he had soulhunter special that skyrocketed my attack in record time. Highlight of the game:
Last game pitted my Alastor against Erlight, might versus destructive again. My 2 seducer stacks and their gates had excellent timing, his dwarven luck was not of much help and eventually his 180 mana was depleted with enough of my units standing. Ring of vitality, cursed ring and 2 dragon arties helped. Worthy of note that karim went for destructive/summoning for exorcism, good thinking even if it didn't work. Now I've seen it in action 2 times in my life

I confirm his rare skill that caused few times an injury on my sanity Watch it people.
Meanwhile i played my first two games with Larry and for now it's 2-0 in my favour.
1. Academy vs Haven
Went for Light/Dark and it was a good decision. Very painful decay was enough for 4 of his stacks. Kshatra mainly killed the rest with her multiple attacks. Lack of magic resistance on Larry's side was noticeable and provided some control over the battle for me.
2. Stronghold vs Dungeon
Pure offense from my side. Swift minded battlecry together with tactics and aura of swiftness worked very nicely. Had shatter destruction and Larry focused on it so i was in good position. He killed what he could and hold it as long as possible but in the end the result was as predicted in that matchup. Winning with Orcs when having Dungeon is just difficult.

1. Inferno vs Fortress
I love to gamble and i know the price of it Paid it in that game but i must say that everything triggered beautifully on Azzies side and i didn't have that much luck. His thunderclap runes together with bears fear and battleragers bash devastated my infernals Lucky gate had 0 effects. He had enough mana for mass haste and RM and that was enough. Maybe if i would call pit lords when i should do it would change something but i don't think so. Was planning to cast Vampirism on Pit Spawns but i didn't managed to do that in time. Azzie finished me quite quickly.
2. Fortress vs Academy
Had all i needed for revenge and his Zehir was just quite weak in magic. Ingvar dominated. We had some nasty bugs but there was no way that he could come out of this victorious.
3. Necro vs Stronghold
Well. In my opinion Sandro's Cloak did the trick in that one. My Vampires just died in this battle He had a very good offensive setup and killed the undead quite easily. I know i made mistakes but really felt that i couldn't do much about it. Nicolai also wasn't the best necromancer...
Azagal has all the replays so i'm sure he will provide them along with his opinion. Very nice and friendly games in which i was just overrun. Congrats Azagal

Nat's Inga had great defence, with all the runes she killed quite easily most of my army and 1st phoenix (had 5hit battle rage with thanes)
zombies were pretty hard to kill ,but she took them out of corner with harpooners and slowly killed them
dark was inefficient since she had light and exorcism rune
anyway i dragged the game as much as i could,but she saved some mana just in case and at the end there was no way to win it
congrats
albolabris proved to be really good player
1st game i tought i have pretty good chance,but he won it quite easily ,his decay was really strong and mine units didn't do any significant dmg
2nd game ,well i'd say it's good matchup for orcs
i had really good destructive build with solid sp, slippers,and phoenix cape,warlock's luck(that didn't trigger) anyway the battle was too fast for warlock without sorcery or swift mind
i made few tactic mistakes in both games,but not sure if the result would be any different

Here are the replays of me against
Azagal vs. Albolabris
Fortress vs Inferno. Well... I consider it a slightly uphill battle for Inferno since Dwarven defense stats aren't bad and mass endurance just makes it such a pain in the behind to bring those blokes down... and thats when they resurrect oO. Well his unique Seducer set up grabbed me some of my momentum but my Bears and Ragers really messed him up. Runes worked like a charm for me (I think rune of Thunderclap didn't once not trigger and rune of Etherealness kept all the bad hits away).
Oh and my mana was only enough for those spells because I had "Pendant of Conflux" where your casting ensured me I think one Mass Endurance or Haste.
Academy vs Fortress. This one really made me sad . My trusted ally Zehir came to make an appearance again and brought Last Stand with him again. The poor guy obviously needed some rest after the ordeal I had put him through but I still used him. In any case Albo really trashed me there and there is not much I can blame it on. Mentor wouldn't let me get Master of Mind (had confusion and slow) and I forgot to get Blade barrier and Arcane crystal from the shrines. My plan was to überspam bladebarrier and just shoot him to death while dug in my position adding a few dark spells for good measure but it all didn't work out. Him having Ring of Banishment and that bug (when you frenzy a fortress unit it will apparently hit it's ally but the ally will not retaliate on the unit that attacked it but on any allied unit standing close to it) ridding me of some of my units didn't really matter in the long run.
Stronghold vs Necro. Well when I saw that match up I was slightly demoralized since Natalka whooped my a$$ in that exact match up pretty good. So I decided to go in a totally opposite direction from what I did with Natalka and just go on the full offensive no matter how suicidal the idea of a Retribution+Luck+Enlightenment build against a Dark user was. Then again luck smiled at me mercifully... Since my leveling went pretty smoothly I had some extra cash to blow and that was just enough to get me the 20k Sandros Cloack and a the Four Leaf Clover. Which turned out to be pretty damn crucial. I scared his Princes and my Centaurs (who only had 2 Luck due to his Ring) scored a lucky hit almost wiping the stack clean out . From then on out my charge did its work and he couldn't really stop it in it's wake.
All in all the games weren't very satisfying. Not because I had a bad opponent lol he's really nice. Albo is a better player than me and having won the first because the mentor screwed him over and the second because I had Sandros Cloak and Fear my Roar, while horribly messing up the one game I had a chance to actually compete (not saying that I could have won it but atleast not having had such a poor performance would have been comforting) with him simply wasn't too enjoyable.
EDIT: GOD I talk too much oO. I swear my next posts will be a lot shorter with a lot less rhetorics .

Please keep up the florid entertaining descriptions, it's good to read them & also what goes on in player's thoughts/pre-battle mind warfare, otherwise the replay doesn't tell everything & can seem bland without them (ie. may not seem exciting to me if no descriptions) *disappears back to outer planes*

Hey all.
I had my fights with Larry yesterday night, lost then all. 3-0 to him. I got crushed first in a Fortress (me) vs Haven. Then I got completely overrun in a Inferno (me) vs Dungeon. Last one I did a little better, it was Dungeon (me) vs Stronghold. Also learned that, if you phanton a puppeted troop, the phanton unit will belong to the adversary, I did it on his Chieftains, with catasthrofic results.

Good news at least!
The PC has already been fixed, and it's waiting me in the shop, so during tomorrow and part of friday I'll be installing programs.
During this weekend I'll play some duels for fun, since I haven't played any duels for several weeks. But since next week I'll be ready
