Yes, it would be noticeable, but Academy still has init arties and Haste. Who is likely to take Fog Veil? Necro. Rarely Dungeon and Sylvan. The rest won't take it and when facing necro you can always get Stormwind which hits them badly too.

Hey Lepas, you never disappoint  Seems we got a lot of new blood but not many of last year's regulars. Don't forget you still have the ToH tourney to participate in 
About fog veil are you joking? -10% init and -25% damage is pretty sweet as it is.

Count me too, I'm not too much experience with duels, only several with some members of La Torre de Marfil(like Lepas), but at least I want to learn some nasty tricks
Since I can still enter, right?
Edit: Any differences between this duels and ToH ones¿?

Not really, the map is the same. But player level should be more diverse here since there are veterans as well as newcomers. Also it's an elimination tournament, those who defeat their opponents move to the next round and those who lose, they wait for the next tournament
Oh and one more thing. In the ToH tournament I don't allow using non native heroes, here you are free to pick as you wish. It for fun after all.
In the end of the season those with most points will get in the finals. But it's gonna take a while before we get there
I almost forgot, I'll accept new joiners until the end of September. The first tournament begins between 27 September and 1st of October.

Hello to all. I'm new here and I've been watching the replays in the forums and I've been learning a lot from you guys. My favorites are undead or castle in the heroes series. I was wondering though, why no one uses banshees when playing undead? Are they so inferior to the traditional upgrade?

Hey there. Banshees are more special focused since they are inferior to wraiths in the might department. Unless you want to stand there and keep using death wail wraiths are more preferable, also an easy way to kill tough units like archangels and magmas

well elvin... lets be honest.. death wail is pretty useless.. a conventional attack is much better... since wraiths have superior attack AND a more useful special there is no contest
EDIT: on a side note... i played a game where i didnt even upgrade the wights (long ago)... ended up getting 34 spellpower with necro.. so i used mentor to get destructive.. no matter the cost ... i ended upgrading only vampires and skellies XD

Overall yes but the times I've used banshees they proved alright. If you avoid using vs high morale, high def factions they are fine - for instance they fare well vs inferno.

harm touching hasted/endurance devils seems more useful to me
maybe i just dont see the bright side of the banshees because they're pink... and are not threatening at all XD whereas the wraiths truly seem like bringers of death
