I kinda expected I'd find you in this one than ToH  Yes things here are pretty much as you left them - besides the redesigned map - while the other one is supposed to be more 'formal' and requires more games.
And no reason to delete anything primus. Say, have you posted your custom avatar in the tribunal yet? You could have it in early October if you post it these days, preorder now and save up to 30%!

Well, I got served by Elvin last night, but at least I can confirm my PC is more or less good enough to play on this map

Since I'll be busy for this week here's version 0.99. It's the same I've passed around for testing so no need to re-download. Mostly weakens sylvan and avenger.
I've been working on the final version for some time that has a few extra changes but if you have any suggestions let me know. On the top of my head I had removed RM from Agrael, a few discernible arenas, removed Ornella, removed brawlers from avenger but I'll make a more detailed list just before we begin.
Actually use this one Some extra issues fixed, certain areas of the map shaped up a bit, dungeon gets library and ring of machine affinity now costs 12k. That's as close to the final version as it gets.

This one draws noobs It's as you knew it, elimination monthly tournaments for temple regulars. Toh is more formal with arena type of tournament, certainly more competitive.

If I recruit another true noob will you join? We already have some newbies around and yes posting replays is a given. The whole point is to have a series of friendly tournaments for regulars so why not join for the fun of it. You have nothing to lose.

I asked this a googol times in the dota forum when I was still active there but never here: What's the point of naming a noob-friendly torunament if all the top players and vets join it anyway?
But repeating this is just an unimportant hobby of mine, ignore if you wish.
My real concern is this: Has anybody else experienced problems with the duel map and mods that are not MP-friendly? My unsafe mods apparently don't work when I put them back. Might just be the mods, but the AI one is supposed to work for 3.1 and the rest are just skin mods.

If you tell me what mods you have I might have a guess which are causing problem. As for the tournament I've already told you, it's meant for fun. After a few rounds you'll have a lot better chances, do you think the people who joined last year were experts when they joined?
Not that we have many experts around mind you, few joined.
Elderane a fellow Greek will also take part, another newbie
Thing is we are 13, if one more could join us it would be ideal..

I have the gem coloring mod, it's not called anything else IIRC. Sfidanza, one of the mod's authors, has edited the master post of this thread with a download link that still works.
Also the advanced ai mod for 3.1, by Magnomagus, found here.
And also the hero model mods found in this thread.
As for the tournament, I have a friend who might be interested, he even filled me in on the existence of Heroes V more than a year ago
Now if I could only get him to answer the phone

My guess would be the AI mod or the hero models though I cannot be sure unless I try If you want we could check it out tomorrow, I've missed dueling with my last exams taking most of this week.
About your friend there is no rush, we won't be starting before Sunday.

It's the mods that are problematic - they've mostly stopped working (gem mod is still fine). But never mind, I asked in the modding forum, might as well keep it there.
About my friend, rush or no, his phone is off and has been so for days.
Now, if it's games you want I'm open for business even now. Unless you're in a time crunch for an exam the coming week, and you, unlike me, give a damn about your education
