Yeah, I like ballads too (I do not LOVE them, I like faster songs) but not like when 75% of all the songs are ballads...
Hey, I thought Lako je Sve was the best song this year. If that counts as a ballad. 
And carcity, "cheating" in esc? How does that work?
And don't say "All east european countries vote on each other!!!" when that isn't the case (Norway, Turkey, Greece, Finland, Denmark - last ten years non-east europe winners, seems balanced).

Xerox, is it ok if I say that all nordicand western countries vote for each other?
I noticed last year that the narrator said first: "All eastern countries only vote for each other!"
then later on she said: "Damn Norway, they didn't even vote for us! We even gave them our 12!"

You should. There are a lot of good entries this year: Moldova, Turkey, Denmark, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Germany, Turkey, Finland, Bulgaria, Serbia, Albania, Romania, FYRoM, Estonia, Slovakia, Croatia and Israel all have sent good entries to Oslo. And all of those are worth listening to.
Just avoid the entries of the UK, Russia, Latvia, Ukraine and Portugal, as there are absolutely horrendous.
The ones I haven't talked about are passable, depending on personal tastes.
btw: Eurovision does have a purpose: It's the game purpose Computer games serve, and called E-N-T-E-R-T-A-I-N-M-E-N-T. (oh, and publicity for the hosting country as well, but let's not get too off-topic)

Okay, first 6 songs
Moldova: Always was a kick-ass song, but it missed some punch (and GOOD SINGING!!  ), easily the worst preformance of the song i've seen (I've seen 3 different prefomances of them). Still enough for the Final, probs
Russia: ZOMG IT'S ATROCIOUS, ALOL!!!!!. Christ, it's dreadful  GTFO!!!
Estonia: Not my cup of tea, but it's okay enough. Finals?
Slovakia: LOVE IT!!! Not as well-sung as the studio verson, tho. Definately going to the final
Finland: Best song so far. It's so upbeat and ^_^ all the time. Finals.
Latvia: *facepalm*. "Only Mr God knows why?" - Jebus, that sounds so retarded. She's cute, but her singing is horrible. GTFO!!

Serbia: ALOL @ Milan. So that's how a cross of Legolas and *INSERT most annoying gay Celeb you can think of* would look like. As for the song, I LOVE it. The combination of HipHop and Folk is really funky ^_^. I hope it reaches the finals, but it might just miss out, like last year.
Bosnia (and Herzegovina too): So MOR (Middle-Of-Road). No excitement. No Finals
Poland: Such bland and boring song. ALOL @ the lesbian groupsex on stage tho.  Won't reach the finals tho
ETA: MY GOD BELGIUM WAS NOT BORING FOR ONCE. (well, relatively speaking - I'm saying that Tom was his boring self usual) I'm shocked at the applause DURING his preformance. Finals.

That Belgian one wasn't that bad but it was just so bland. The guy was a mediocre singer. He had a guitar so that's a plus though.
