I figured that the most players there haven't played the original.
Back then I used to stick around and defend the base a bit.

Finished the Stick of Truth. expected it to be longer. a lot longer.
multiple endings are nice. Found two out of ???.
Still it's a good turn based RPG.

Decided to try out Dark Souls on PC.
First hour or so consisted of swearing at the controls, and that was with the fixes installed.
Then... it just started working and now I love it. The combat feels fair apart from seemingly random stunlocks and odd camera movements at times.

I've weirdly not felt drawn to Dark Souls. It's funny becuase practically all my friends are. Even the ones who don't normally play anything. They're quite puzzled by why I've not played the game through and through.

I'm so psyched for dark souls 2.
PVP's a bust though. I hate sorcery so much (Havel the rock build was in the making, but no one plays any more, anyway.)
Though, like, if someone wants to fight pikachu and snorlax, then lemme know. i need more medals and the most legit way to me seems like it would be from taking down ornesto e pappa smough.

God damn S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is creepy as snow sometimes.
this underground lab section in the first game, where you need to grab some docs for the barkeep is a fine example.

There was a guy in Renegade X who had hacked permanent ion cannon with unlimited fire rate for himself. Goddamned idiot.
Nothing more satistying than sniping the cheater over and over and over and over again untill he was too frustrated and left the server.

Dark Souls.
60th goddamn try at defeating Havvel a.k.a. fat dude with giant club living in basement.
The thing that kills me the most is dodging right into blows when I want to dodge sideways, PC controls are still... wonky... even with some fixes from mods.
EDIT: Reaction gifs were heavier than I thought, removed.

so Dark Souls is ported straight from consoles right?
plugging in a controller usually solves it.
As for myself I've been more into Stalker lately than anything else. God damned bloodsuckers. snow you and the guys who created you. snow you. just snow you.
also what I dislike of the first game is lack of customisation options for your guns. other than that it's perfect.
and also, vodka does help against radiation in real life. I know of people who were cleaning the mess back in 86, and they said if it wasn't for vodka and spirits that they drank everyday, they wouldn't be alive today. the jewish medical mafia is against it though. they want corpses, and income for their snowty medicine.

I am now officially the first guy in my group of finnish friends who does not own and play dark souls...
I'm also the only guy who has an opentop Porsche to drive around in this fantastic weather we've been having. I think I'll manage.

Just finished Far Cry 3 (loved it) and Max Payne 3 (also loved it) and am now playing Torchlight 2. Frankly I find it rather boring but for some reason that's not stopping me from sinking hours into it.
I never played Dark Souls, but I didn't care for its predecessor (despite all my attempts to like it). Now that DSII is released, I feel the urge to buy Dark Souls 1 and give it a shot, but I'm resisting because if it's anything like Demons Souls, I fear it'll just be a waste of money. Maybe I'll enjoy the PC version more, since I tend to find PC games less difficult than console games - something about the interface that's more intuitive to me.
