That I did and bested him 2-1.
Games started with my dwarves defending against a furious sylvan onslaught only to fall before their powerful light magic. Maybe if I'd tried to kill druids asap but as usual I was intimidated by the arcanes. Next was his turn to hold the fortress flag but my haven was too powerful, fire resistance helped a lot. Finally it came down to my dungeon vs academy where his curses proved a poor match against my phoenix caped, empowered fireball with ignite. My units did some good damage too.

I finished my two games with MImirivo. the first one reminded me of all times when i was playing a full map with very new players! actually it wasn't so much his fault but it is the first duel in which i only lose 1 stack and win! i had almost all my army at the end! you MUST watch the replay!
In the second one, i had an Academy that you would feel sorry for! worthless! my fault, sure but still!

Yes,it was easy for you just because he played badly. only 1 mass spell, he sacrificed unicorns , winddancers and dragons on your champions.Also he didn't had enlightement,no lucky attacks for him and MUCH other things.anyway,you played good

in that case i should say that only4dungeon had played horibble in the 3rd game against elvin.he could beated him.to go with academy without light magic is not a good idea.also,to sacrifice 33 djinns on 11 raiders was not a good idea.

If he'd watched how I normally play, dark was a good idea. The problem was the second school being summoning when he had such low spellpower. Not attacking grims WOULD be a mistake - if memory serves he couldn't block them otherwise.

To let them charge is also not a very good idea

Well in case it wasn't obvious I'll have to say that I won't finish my duels. The thing is that 3 duels per opponent is a lot and while Vangelis did allow for a lot of time it wasn't something that I could make much use of with exams in the beginning and family in the end. I mean sure technically I would have had time to play but I simply have other priorities when my sister and friends are here. And there are only so many games you can play after 1am  . Best of luck to the other contenders and my apologise for not making it.
