I intended to have the Kasrkin follow Horrace around, being silent obedient stormtroopers. If nothing more, they are 2 more Hotshot Lasguns in battle. But they can also be used as glorified gofers, as an escort if Horrace has to do something on his own and making that possible. And as a means of having heavy weapons none of us have chosen so far. And if need be, but they are Kasrkin so it's unlikely, something for Horrace to execute without killing a player.

Do not worry yourself about the heavy weapons, if Omega just answered Sir_Dragon's HCM questions so Sir_Dragon could start making his character we might have a Deathwatch Space Marine with heavy weapons.
...Depending on what you mean with "Heavy weapon" of course.

There's still a few weapons space marines do not use, and he cannot carry more that two around. That would leave the options open to have a few more heavier weapons to be carried around.
And under Heavy Weapons I count everything that's man-portable that is not a Bolter, Boltpistol, Lasgun, Laspistol, Hotshot Lasgun, Hotshot Laspistol, or a Meleeweapon of any description.

Well... I don't want to be the one to forbid you something but I honestly don't see the neccesity of the decision. I thought we were roleplaying together in the sense that we act a story together in a world controled by Omega.
Permanently having a personal guard of 2 of the best the guard doesn't add much to that sense of "adventure" which should come from solving the problems together with the tools we have. All the Karsinkin do in the end is give you more weapons and increase the number of tools we have available but they're your NPCs, they're not someone anyone can interact with.
To me adding them would make sense if this is more of a "campaign" with the goal not so much being the Journey but that the goal is accomplished no matter the shortcuts or how the "rping" suffers.
So I wouln't want to have the Karsikin, but again this is just what I think. Maybe I'm missunderstanding this RPG, not sure.
I mean what role do the Karsikin fulfil except giving us more weapons (we already have pretty much all the basics and more with Kiph and Meroe)? And you would in effect be the only one who could write about since they're your Karsikin (well technically Alexander could do as he pleases but he wouldn't want to needlessly make you feel "oversteped" by him).
Do you see what I'm driving at or am I overthinking this?
Isn't it good enough to simply have some Karsikin (as in more than 2 depending on the task) when the situation calls for it? I don't know, like if Alexander sends you to take some fortification or fulfil some undercover task (they'd obviously have to be disguised too then) or anything that justifies having some more reinforcements rather than having them with you all the time.
And why have a weird affection for executing stuff lol. Why would you ever execute a Karsikin they don't even flinch in the face of certain death and if you order them to shot their mother, they shot their mother.

Don't missunderstand me War, I didn't tell you that you're not allowed if you insist on having them arround all the time I won't stop you. I simply asked you whether you wouldn't agree that it makes for easier and in my oppinion better roleplay if they're not arround permanently (like I said if you do something on your own feel free to go nuts with your entourage).

It's already done. It was something I already anticipated people having objections too. And should the need arise in the future, you know where to find me.
Edit: Now that I think about it, a large part of it was fueled by the idea that the rest of the players would not arive for some time and I needed things to do by myself. Omega now has resolved that problem for me, it would seem.

Meroe Anya have 2 functions at the party:
She'd be Alexanders bodyguard (I'm sure she'll manage to conceal a weapon somewhere in her dress no matter how revealing it is and even if not a Sororitas is lethal enough without a weapon) and she'd be distracting people from him to make his investigating easier. Obviously in order to maximize distraction Alexander would like her to look hotter than the fires of damnation (with some sort of shawl or stole (something more flashy though, and bigger since the goal is to cover your shoulderblades and arms) though no matter how revealing her dress is since her arms are quite muscular and that would look out of place on any high society lady in the Imperium. So makeup, a shawl and some nice clevage should basically render your arms invisible to all who gaze uponyou though). That's kind of much to ask of Anya perhaps but I think it's a good opportunity for her as a character. I leave the degree of revealingness and sexyness of her eventual gown to you. Just stay close to Alexander (he'll most likely have her locked at his side for the biggest part), smile a lot and Anya will get a Dataslate with information (she'd need to memorize it) on Alexanders profession (not sure yet what I should go for... Representative of a major outworld Weapons manufacteror that just scored a good deal with the Govenor but wouldn't mind dealing for the otherside aswell most likely), important rumors of the uppor class and trivial facts about Ares to be able to small talk should the need arise.
Everyoneelses roles should be fairly clear. It might be difficult for you to actually write something "gamechangeing" though without consulting Omega first or waiting for him to post since none of us has the power to read how important an event in the world is or what an event is for that matter . But I feel everyone got something to do that fits him or her (or well in your case Meroe gives you something to experiment with ). Oh and I would love to meet Horrace Warlord but unfortunately I will be gone for the next 7 days (visiting my parents in Berlin and I'll be able to post at the earliest on the 15th) and I wouldn't want to leave you hanging in mid conversation. So can I just leave it to you that we've already talked if you feel that is appropriate? If not like I said I can at the earlierst react on the 15th to any post you make. I'd however ask that you visit me on the Lancea Domini in order to properly introduce you to me and my team and have a talk with you in my office.

I see. So, infilitrate the estate and hack the security cameras and stuff and be the fly on the wall then? Marvelous.
Now I've been working on a kind of short "CV" which is a list of noteable occurences in his carrier(The battle of Ra V, all the inquisition missions, etc.) for Mac and will probably post it later today when I've completed it.

Gnomes if Alexander finds out that Kiel is compromising the security or success of this enterprise to pull a practical joke there will be hell to pay. Just saying. If you spook him with false signals and whatnot Horrace might indeed find something to execute (obviously not but I do hope I make my point clear).
What he's done until now is pretty harmless and only testament to Kiels loftyness so it's all good just make sure that when it's businesstime that Kiel is on 110% no matter how undignified he may find his given task (considering the circumstances it's the best I could do for him)
EDIT: Also the order isn't given out of spite. Your areas of responsability overlap ergo you need to communicate I guess the fact that Kiel thinks Alexander would stoop so low as to give him an assignment simply to annoy him speaks volumes about his arrogance.

Naww, it wasn't just for a practical joke. He was going to be forced to reveal himself anyway, why not finish messing with this guy who almost compromised his position.  (Plus it will be funny as hell to see how BETA has Mac react to this...)

Exactly.
He understands why he has this assignment, but that doesn't mean that he won't grumble about it.

Seeing how this isn't that fastest paced RPG out there. I'd think I'd rather have an interesting meeting later, than to skip it for speeds sake.

Aye, but it kind of is your fault. You made Nial act suspicious by being interested in catching the assassin. I doubt no normal man in his right mind would be that, and so does Mac, therefore you were suspect Mac is right now feeling more smug than anything. That, and he is kind of pissed off at his gut feeling for not acting up when it should.

Did I forget to mention that the idea is to not kill anyone if necessary? Because BETA you look about ready to take on the Black Crusade in your full combat gear lol. You have one of the most delicate jobs at this moment, would't you agree? Your choice of how to go about infiltrating seems a bit odd if I may say so. But perhaps I'm missing something.
EDIT: Warlord feel free to join Alexander for a drink in his office upon arrival. There they can talk privatey and have his crew members introduce themselves if the have the time to spare during their preparations.You'd help me if you'd take your next post to my office and give me something to react to, that way I can formulate a reply faster and since I don't have much time here in Berlin that'd be appreciated.
