If not for the fact it would be highly anticlimax (moreso than the Forge itself for some part of the community) I'd suggest some more "conventional" tanks, but that wouldn't work, now would it?

So you finally liked Polish Forge and decided to claim their "general"/"technik"?
"Technik" is polish word, so you changed it to "engineer".
Moreover, I think (but don't remember now) it's "general" in Ukrainian Forge.

"cyborg" and "technic", altrough.
So I think, you must change names to something new.
PS In my Forge remixes I use classes "coordinator"/"scientist" and
"tyrant"/"technomage".
So please don't use these also.
PPS I think that "engineer"/"technic" is not good for magic classes.
"Scientist" may fit, because scientists research all.
So it maybe be some "psionic"/"manipulator"/"hypnotizer" etc.

Polish Forge is out, and there we see "general".
You can always name heroes as you like altrough. When people will convert your forge to VCMI, they'll just rename them.

Macron, our "Genera³" and "Technik" were used AFTER HotA Crew had decided to use "General" and "Engineer" for their Forge. And it was just a coincidence and maybe, I don't know, logic.

But your Forge now is out, and this is fact. And some people are modifying it.
And HotA Forge is not released yet. So it's a matter of "who's first". Like americans first got to Moon, and now it's not a wonder to send there new spaceships.
PS "General" is neutral at least and don't show Hi-Tech aligment.
PPS So it's you who's willing to change names?
And what if HotA crew decide to change their classes names again?

Not to burst anyone's bubble here, but is this SERIOUSLY the most important thing of all, the hero class names?
We could just simply stay with the original Cyborg/Technician for all I care.
But, whatever floats your boat.

Ever played C&C Tiberian Sun games? There are cyborgs in this game too. What happens when u destroy the cyborg? Organic parts die but mechanic parts keep moving and fighting. Let's take a look at Tower town naga. No armor, but it's the most powerfull level 6 unit along with Dread Knight.

Well droid is a nice add to the forge, but not to it's army. Cmon any Forge creature looks more powerfull then this ball. It would be a nice scout unit. To tell u the truth it looks like a good scout unit. Replacing any creature with this is like adding Gremlin instead of Dread Knight.
