I don't think that was an official information.

i did indeed make a mistake, and thanks for clarifying. it's not "slower", but "lower in numbers". that's where i went wrong(blame sleeplessness).

thanks for the clarification; now i know what part to tweak.

That wiki page needs an update now that there is a release.

BTW,

Very interestingly, the team claims they have received five original music tracks from HoMM composer Paul Anthony Romero to consummate their vision.

Is this what is included in the recently-released Forge?

it was in one of the old polish forge releases. couldn't find a link, so i extracted it from my treasure trove(lol), and uploaded it for you. enjoy. it's in .rar format, so you'll need winrar to open it.

Hi,

Finally after many years (and after many unfinished projects later) we are presenting you first finished version of Forge made by polish community. If you have ever dreamed that primary concept for 11th town would be realized,  we are here to deliver you that fantasy.

Town has been in development for a long time, and what distinguish our project from other attempts, is that we have not tried to fully reconstruct everything from scraps, but instead we have realized our own vision while staying true to the Universe. We are hoping that you will enjoy our projects, especially since next version with more exciting features will be in development

With love,
Polish Forge Team.

What's with brain suckers and juggernauts? A non upgraded version has no forge features. Why would this faction use monsters that have no mechanical agumentations or futuristic weapons? And why brain suckers? Are there no larger creatures in Deiya than tiny brain suckers?

They look pretty sci-fi to me, I think they fit forge perfectly. Think of aliens (not kreegans )

@ haregar: i already have them in my lineup, i made the twcrport and cprsmall files for them too. i think i downloaded them from Acid Cave. could you post a screen of the versions you made, that may or may not be on Acid Cave?

Sure mate, there are availble HERE. There are more creatures, but you can find there my Cyber Dead and Cyber Zombie (by znajomy, because as I said before I help, although more percents were made by znajomy).

If you want to use them, feel free to do it and I will be honoured to see them in another version of the Forge*.

What's more, may I ask about something? I've been collecting stuff related to Forge as well, although my old HDD (it had 80 GB, so it was really old) broke. Unfortunatelly I had to delete (before it broke) many Forge files from my pendrive, 'cause I had to save something important there. The ones who survived were some sprites, two .def files (plus some sprites of units; they are availble as defs on the Acid Cave anyway) and some other minor graphics.

But leaving that story behind, do you have Alpha of the Heavenly Forge that was made by fishkebab (known also as vanBhradok and Sower)? It had many, many, many files inside, including town's screen, almost all creatures (some were alpha versions, but stil) and around 50% of portraits we wanted to put into the mod.
You can use it as well if you have it. As far as I remember those who used it were: Sower and two former team's members (including me as a tester). Dunno if the file survived, but if it did, then it might be incredibly useful for your mod.

No, it's not. It was planned to be used in Forge made by my team years ago. One of my teammates, BenioX claimed to have some of the tracks Mr Romero sent him. They were nice and I think they can be found on DF2 forum. In my oppinion they had their own charm and made a fine atmosphere, but they weren't like full-developed tracks. I'm glad that we got some samples for free from that kind of artist, it was a success.
Don't believe anyway in people who say it was all bluff, because it was not.

@ haregar: i see. i'm not using those versions, but the versions made by hobbit. i'm still working on their sounds(i wasn't satisfied with any of their sounds for any Forge so far).

as far as all of the Forge stuff i downloaded and is available to HC, i'll have to gather it all up. i may or may not have the original dl's somewhere(i've been mixing everything up, comparing things side-by-side and such, trying to find what i wanted for my own version), but i'll check for you. if everything is copacetic, then i'll compile them all into one upload. but i'll have to do some verifying first.

Yeah, Hobbit's zombies were planned to be our final version, as for they look really cool.
The file I was talking about (early alpha) included them and units made by Trith.
