too bad it's only on xbox one. also the master chief collection, though I already have 3 and 4 and did combat evolved with a friend when it came out.

Shadow of Mordor needs 3 GB vram for high? 6 GB FOR ULTRA?
It looks worse than The Witcher 2 ffs... very weird.
Game seems very awesome though.

It seems very scripted. Is there going to be a difference between playing it and watching a walkthrough?
And the alien is apparently deaf and blind

I like how it kind of goes back a bit to the first Alien movie's slow, kinda curious Alien. Imo it could move even slower when it's not actively hunting you.. blend in almost.
I too hope for a minimum of scripting, but it's probably not gonna be a game you finish 3 times over anyway so it's not something I worry that much about. Scripted events like the one at the end does contribute to the atmosphere a lot, though it's not that scary cuz you know... no control over it.
Something I do care about is how when the Alien actually kills you it does so in a lengthy animation. That sucks cuz you already know it's over, not scary.

I meant how the alien moves seems so scripted. It has no AI, just a set path and then you just trial and error, aka, save scum. Does not seem fun.
@Ohforf: Now THAT looks awesome! Reminds me a lot of the first to AvP games, pure legend man.

I am super exited. I have not met many games with an atmosphere like in AvP, and that series is just shoot-em. But the atmosphere was there. This could be the game I have also waited, ****!!!

Hey remember when I was hyped for Mechwarrior Online?
**** those guys.
I've never felt scammed by a free-to-play before but paying money to support that piece of **** has to be one of my all-time gaming lows.
It had promise, and goddamnit it was a mechgame... but the line of broken promises just grew bigger and bigger. Piranha Games has an actual disdain for people who are not "casual", or you know, ACTUAL mech simulator fans. Being able to appeal to casual gamers is fine, go for it, but don't do it at the cost of DESTROYING the entire simulation aspect you dimwits.
I still love watching the game played by people who can actually find it in them to keep playing, and I still have this small hope in me that the company will just go BOOM and someone with some ethics and vision will pick up the IP.
****ing mechs man. "REACTOR CORE ONLINE, ALL SYSTEMS NOMINAL". I need that immersion.
