Maybe is better to add option before starting map, as only editor feature will not help when playing old maps, which not many open/change before playing.

Alisapa, I just asked in russian forums and we can't bind a single target spell to a key. Only mass effect spells. Not sure if it helps to have armageddon binded to a key, it looks to me as long as opening the book to find that key.

Well Armageddon key 1, Slow 2, Dispel 3, Prayer 4, Sorrow 5 and I can live with it. Probably miss some mass spells here.

Oh forgot Shield/Air Shield, have to recast quite often if enemy Hero has dispel.

Sal can you tell me how many total Cornucopias do we have and where to get each? I wouldn't be surprised if I missed 1 or 2 Cornucopias somewhere.

There are six of them, some comes from huts, others are well visible on map.

Playing MoW and it is much much harder, we have to deal with monthly +1 speed for all mobs (month 5 and supreme phoenix already at 31), I wait to see arena and maybe I will make final adjustments to arena, as with >15 speed for low troops it may be impossible to level heroes without tactics there. Reduce speed by month number in arena to have normal values.

Practically I spend half of my mithril to improve speed for efreets and devils, or I get spanked by everyone.

Should I download TEW IV v.4 pack? and continue with my current MoS saves?

Related to Zydar fight, I had a glance on Valery's save and I think that he controlled the special level-ups into getting mithril, having enough to have 9 towns and a hefty amount of DMG increase on Devils.

I did the same with 2 of my heroes who missed 1 win in day 7 . reloaded in new week until I got Devils. Won extra 81 devils from 2 heroes that way. That's how I was having 850 Devils in m5w2 . Still is a guess ..since, due to bad investment of my mithril into attack, I reloaded pre Wystan and I prepared 4 heroes this time with few fights left for special level up.

This time I was thinking I will reload until I will get "Mithril week special level-up" BUT I don't get different options every week . Maybe is influenced by Xeron spawn (cos is that time m4w4d7); no matter how much I reloaded I always get new Skill as special level up "bonus"

I know, some may say, is an exploit or w/e , but is an option implemented and I would say is a "smart use of game mechanics"

My question is , why can't I have new bonuses each week? isn't that rolled every week start?same as hatred script? Is it influenced by Xeron spawning? Or I got the whole Idea wrong?

The variable setting special levels is rolled day 1, every week. There are a few exceptions where it will change suddenly, this is for v4, I don't recall exactly how was in v3 but now if variable is set to give new skills but the hero has already all, it changes to give devils and it stays like that all the week. Also it will change if it is set to give orb of fire and hero already has it, it will give devils and stay that way (a good reason to get orb on the hero near level, once we have the orb we can control the bonus a bit). There is no reason the variable changes because xeron, if you upload a save I will be fixed.

In v4, stats increase +10 each, and ALL skills are given, not only one, so now every bonus is interesting IMO.

If you keep getting same result while reloading day 7 (unlikely, never happened to me), then close game and start it again, it is possible that random seed is generated by your computer clock or something like that.

Depends how bored are you already: of course I would say get new and start again, seeing that you also invested mithril in attack and wasted it. V4 has much better balance, bonuses, grail spawn fixed etc.

Ye, last night I reloaded several times in m4w4d7 using 7_purple_End save , I get the new week message, then the Xeron appearance text, and I rush with 1 hero missing 1 win to level up and I always got Ballistics.

Reloaded, same way -> always ballistics, Used Commodus , he got Archery (Already having Ballistics) . Did it several times as I said. Also closed game , reloaded , same deal.

Then I went to bed

Ye I play previous version (I think is V.3) using Commodus.erm that you modified for MoS to have increased mithril rewards including on shipwrecks. You sent me that erm on email.

Will try again when I get home


Edit: the mithril problem is fixed. I previously invested mithril before fighting Wystan, reloaded then, killed him, lost 2 weeks of game time. But now I would like some more mithril for faster progress.

So I guess advancing fast is also a strategy now and this is an indirect buff to MoS and nerf to MoW. I like it, before I felt to be put in extreme disadvantage to try to advance as fast as possible to use all the bonus movement from MoS just only to get higher score which I have never cared about, now this is better. It's a pity for MoW though.

Anyway since this is MoW we are talking, how about letting them be able to choose to get the Mithril bonus from Special levels? If they refuse it will return to be random without the Mithril option.

Mow is doing fine. Took Wystan 6.2.4, compared with Mos 4.4.6. You can notice the extra growth/speed of titans from 2 months difference, but also MoW extra numbers, due to grails -already 5- and two devils bonuses, I don't reload this time. Couldn't do it faster, only speed upgrades cost me 2000 mithril, price is 200 each for MoW.

WTF, this will completely ruin the game It's not like everyone will beat Wystan month 6. Players not familiar with the map will not even reach him by then.

First v3 version had speed increase only from month 5, now I let it grow from 3rd, it was too big advantage for MoS (who can finish month 7). Other stats keep original values.

Well, player speed is not so important, if playing MoW. I get 40 mithril/day from heroes only, so +1 speed upgrade is 5 days income, vs +1/month for AI. Still AI loses. If playing MoS, you are faster, speed cost is halved, if play MoE you cast twice, so prayer first.

looking at your screenshots

In month 6 lords of thunder have 16 base speed.
In month 4 lords of thunder have 12 base speed
16-12=4
Which means + 2 speed per month!

I remember the fight with trolls on cursed ground for one of the combo artifacts with MoW.
Now they will have a great speed if the player is a bit late and would be able to reach the other side of the battle instead of killing clones.

The vampire speed in the lairs will be great too.

I don't worry about that fight, you have also clones, can block. The only exception I made for speed is for gorynitches you fight on cursed ground, they don't grow. With their attack around it would be disastrous if they have more than 10 speed.

Vampire already has 72, if he has 84 it changes basically nothing. You have tactics, protect, he moves, he dies.

Yeah the new bonus is a bit harsh (maybe again you can reduce early bonus and make it scale harder later), I remember the first (no maybe second or even 3rd) game I played I reached Dace in in M5W2 or something , and still have a very hard time at that point for some whatever reasons....
