EDIT: Perhaps we should leave it here. Ponies would be quite a derail from Iran, even if they are related to the history of Peru.

Last I remember American indians are still very much alive and kicking (their culture and people).
I'm pretty sure that life wasn't all sunshine and rainbows before the conquistadores arrived, I mean slavery and live sacrifices were still common and just the cherry on the top. Not to mention that I daresay that Europeans ****ed each other over more than they did the natives.

Iranians are not Arabs, by the way, so it's natural their culture differs a bit, even if they follow the same religion.

Yeah I know an iranian women and she HATES arabs and islam (she came to sweden after the revolution)
She actually had more "extreme" opinions than me because she was afraid that islam was going to take over the world (because of high birth rates among muslims). >.>

Iran is a nice country, but the politics are responsibe for the bad picture in the world.
It's like Serbia - It's a small, nice, enduring (We survived both World Wars) country, but the politics made us a poor place to live in.
Don't judge a book by the way it looks:
Tesla is from Serbia, but he moved to America because of the possibilities for his progress. And if Serbia didn't exist, we would still live without electric power (or not, maybe someone would discover it by now).
My point: There could be someone in Iran that could do some great things for mankind in the future.

Actually I'm kind of surprised this particular discussion isn't in the OSM.
Regardless, Iranians aren't arabs, they're Persians. Before Greece rose they were the most dominant power in the world.

You do realize that Iran has a population of 80 mil or so.. which is like 10 times Serbia ? And that last time people had a nice "stone your neighbor" day in Serbia was in 18th century... just saying
