No... When did the Turks conquer the Byzantines and enter Europe? The Turks captured Constantinople in 1453... but they entered Europe much earlier.
The first country that looked delicious for them was... Bulgaria (why us?). So after fighting with Bulgaria they succeeded to totally conquer us in 1396... And after that they attacked Byzantium. As you see they have captured Constantinople 57 years later. And again the Greeks were lucky because although they were captured after the Bulgarians, they received liberty earlier... We had to wait five centuries to liberate ourselves.

…dangit, most of these questions are world history…I learned that last year. I can’t remember that far back! Oh well Here goes…

1. Who was Cesars greatest and most trusted general? It would help to know which Caesar, but I would guess Marcus Antonius/Mark Anthony, but since he was a lieutenant I believe, I don’t know if that’s right.

2. How far did the Roman empire stretch at it's greatest power(Name 0ne boundry)? Um, the nothern parts of Africa, half way into the “Middle East”, and part of modern day Germany.
3. Which Barbarian group(army, tribe) had the greates influence on the fall of Rome?? No idea, perhaps some germanic tribe dudes, or the Huns?
4. What was the Byzantine Empire and where was it located? The places surrounding the Aegean Sea: Turkey, Greece, and whatever else.
5. Who was the first freates Frankish Leader? Not sure what you’re asking, but wasn’t Charlemagne the king of the Franks? …well at least he was the king of somewhere, I know that.
6. About what year did the Old Hungarians(The tribes that created Hungary) come to Europe? No clue.
7. Who invaded the British Isles in the 10th century? I’m pretty sure it was one of the Scandinavian places…maybe not though.
8. Who Invaded The British Isles and fought at the battle of Hastings? The Normans…that’s what they were called, right?
9. When did the Mongol Hordes start their invasion to Europe and who was thier leader? 12th or 13th century, under Genghis Khan’s son.
10. How long did the Hordes stay in Europe?? Erm…a few years? A decade?
11. How many Crusades were there? Eight…I think only the first (or maybe second) actually did much.
12. When did the Turks conquer the Byzantines and enter Europe? 13th century I would venture.
13. Where adn by who were they stoped? Who was stopped? I’m confused.
14. When was the French Revolution? I think the exact can be argued, but it was during the late 1700’s. Robspierre was cool, hehe
15. When was the American Revolution? 1775- 1783. hehe, can’t forget that :-)
16. How long Did Napoleon Bonaparte rule? Doh! I did a report on him so I should know…um, er…he wasn’t the ruler throughout the entire period, but he crowned himself emperor in 1800 or something…and the last time he was considered the main ruler, or military leader of France was around 1815…he kinda went nuts the last few years though, when power slowly slipped from his hands.
17. At the height of it's power from where to where did the British Empire strech? What do you consider the height of their power? …they’ve never really been not powerful speaking relative to other places…but um I think they had the most territories after WWI when they got Germany’s colonies…what those were though, I dunno.
18. How long did World War one last?(Years please)# Ah ha! I know this one for sure. In total, it was from 1914-1920 so that would make it roughly 6 years.
19. When and why di WW2 start? Arg, I’m horrible with dates, being so long since last year, and we haven’t gotten to it yet this year in class …but hmm, it was in the first half of the 1940’s I think. Obviously, the reason #1 was Hitler.
20. At the height of it's power From where to where did the Nazi empire strech? Let’s see…let’s make it simple and say the axis power controlled Germany, Hungary, Italy, most of the slavic states, Finland, and northern Africa…oh yeah, and part of France…the part Paris wasn’t in
21. When did WWII end?(Exact date for both Victory in europe day and the fall of Japan) Dunno about Japan, but if you want to consider it a victory, the Germans surrounded in 1945or 1956.

I don't all the english equivalents to these as history lessons weren't in English.

1. Who was Cesars greatest and most trusted general?

My guess would be Augustus alias Octavianus.

2. How far did the Roman empire stretch at it's greatest power(Name 0ne boundry)?

The Roman Empire had many borders. The Atlantic and the English Channel would be two of these.

3. Which Barbarian group(army, tribe) had the greates influence on the fall of Rome??

There was alot of germanic tribes. One of the best known barbarians are the Huns. The Vandals looted Rome at one point and gave rise to the word Vandalism.

4. What was the Byzantine Empire and where was it located?

The Byzantine Empire constituted of parts of the eastern Roman Provinces after Rome had fallen and been divided into an Eastern and Western part.

5. Who was the first freates Frankish Leader?

I believe he was called "Karl den Store" english term would probably be Charlemagne.

6. About what year did the Old Hungarians(The tribes that created Hungary) come to Europe?

My guess would be around year 800-900.. But then I'm not sure of what you mean by created Hungary.

7. Who invaded the British Isles in the 10th century?

Vikings.

8. Who Invaded The British Isles and fought at the battle of Hastings?

Normands.

9. When did the Mongol Hordes start their invasion to Europe and who was thier leader?

I'm not sure exactly what invasion you mean. (And even if I did the name would not be easily translated to english.)

10. How long did the Hordes stay in Europe??

No idea.

11. How many Crusades were there?

Three. (I'm fairly certain there was at least two and not more than four.)

12. When did the Turks conquer the Byzantines and enter Europe?

It was somewhere about the 15th century.

13. Where adn by who were they stoped?

They were probably stopped in several places. I'd expect the lines to be drawn along Italian borders and along the river Donau (which may have another name in English).

14. When was the French Revolution?

Started in 1789.

15. When was the American Revolution?

Around 1776 or thereabouts.

16. How long Did Napoleon Bonaparte rule?

Not very long. He became emporer in 1799-1800 and then ruled for a time, but was exiled when defeated. He later returned for 100 days before his defeat at Waterloo. In all it should be shorter than a decade.

17. At the height of it's power from where to where did the British Empire strech?

The British Empire had colonies across the globe, north and south. You can't really say it stretched from anywhere to anywhere.

18. How long did World War one last?(Years please)#

1914-1918

19. When and why di WW2 start?

When Germany wanted to take over a part of Poland in august/september 1939. Negotiations failed. Germany marched into Poland and war was declared. The reason for the wars were many more and had been built up over time...

20. At the height of it's power From where to where did the Nazi empire strech?

That depends on if you would include German colonies and allied powers such as Japan, Italy and Spain.

The germans had taken over Norway, in Russia they had reached Moscow (not sure if they ever took Moscow).

21. When did WWII end?(Exact date for both Victory in europe day and the fall of japan)

1944 in Europe.
1945 in Japan. (September 3rd or thereabouts...)

2. How far did the Roman empire stretch at it's greatest power(Name 0ne boundry)? Hadrian's Wall

You have a point there... There was a Roman presence in Brittania, so they would have crossed the channel. What I can't remember was if they ever made it a province.

But then again they probably did... I seem to remember that the Romans built Hadrian's Wall as protection from the Scots, and they wouldn't have done that if Britannia hadn't been a province. (Too much work for such a long wall.) The name Hadrian is btw. the name of a Roman Emperor.

Wow Cat... You have no idea how long ago I read history in school.

1) What was the Maginot Line?

-> This sounds familiar. My guess would be that this is what the French defence lines were called in WW II.

2) What was the name of Hitler's dog?

-> Pass

3) When was the Irish potato famine?

-> Probably in the mid or late 19th century. It probably coincided with mass emigration to the US.

4) Which US president lead the 'Rough Riders'?

-> Pass

5) What was the average age of a vietnam soldier?

-> Low. Would probably be in their teens.

6) Who was Freidrich Engels?

-> Engels lived in the 19th century and had contacts with Karl Marx.

7) Rene Descartes is famous for saying what?

-> I think. Therefore I am. (Or perhaps that was someone else. )

8) When was the Zulu war?

-> Somewhere in the 19th century. (18XX)

9) Henry the Seventh stormed England with an army of which nationality?

-> Probably French.

10) How was the Spanish Armada 'defeated'?

-> In the English Channel. The armada was weakened/defeated in several different battles in the channel. The most important battle was probably the one in Dunqerque.

11) Name the temporary German currency created during the depression?

-> Pass

12) Name two 'cures' for plague?

-> I don't think they had any reliable cures. They probably used blood-letting or something similar.
