There are attempts to spark an interest and then there is dung/fart talk..  C'mon, we can do better. In fact I have in mind a game to get things rolling.

Raelag and celebrities was mentioned, but I wonder who is Raelag supposed to look like?

There are rumours that the 2.0 patch will contain the Expansion(since the 2 number) and purchase wil just unlock it. Some instructions on websites also direct players to unlock it in a main menu.
Soumds plausible.

Not when you consider that the game is a standalone. You don't want to download a patch fixing a graphics glitch that is 15 GB.

These people(some of them are also insiders) also say that the standalone edition will in fact be complete - that means with original campaigns, all DLC, etc, but all this contect is blocked unless you buy the complete edition. Similar to how DLC got released or Succession Wars map...

Yes and no.
When it first was announced, I was psyched and couldn't wait.
Then the delay came and I thought this would be a good time to finally get through all the campaigns and unlock everything so it would be available in the expansion.
Then I discovered Disciples: Reincarnation and haven't played H6 since. This is, IMO, a far better game in almost every aspect (needs more factions).

Ubi is real good at killing the hype, almost as good as overhyping things. Ah well, it will come in good shape when it comes and I planned to get a break anyway. Duel of champions is a lot of fun.

Ok I actually got excited for the expansion again! Racial seems like a lot of fun, can be used defensively or offensively and new screenshpts look gorgeous!

Wow, that was some real news!  They have one month now to re-create the hype, I guess this is only the beginning.
So the faction ability is invisibility as we guessed but with a damage bonus, cool! Different from Guardian Angel.

Not a big bonus mind you. There's also damage reduction if an enemy unit bumps on your invisible units and 'accidentally' attacks them.
