ok, made different mountains for forge. like these much better:

@ sal: i will be pushing all this stuff out when i have enough for an update. i will also be pushing out my best map to date, but i'm not sure how to include it. it has stuff from every object patch that people has pushed out(besides mine). anyone wishing to play it would have to have all that stuff in their lods, or it wouldn't be playable. so, not sure if i will push that out or not. but thanks for the kind words.

(lol, just noticed that some of the mountains are now backward from the update i made. no matter, you get the point. i may have to rehue them. the problem with the computer i'm now using, is it's an older one, and the colors are muted, more gray, so i can't see the proper effect until i post on a different computer.)

Doesn't matter if playable, I also included 2 demo map with my composed objects patch. Just for people to see the potential layout before they scroll the terrains columns.

yeah, a demo map is do-able, but i'm talking about a map that SHOULD be playable, that i want to push out. that's the one with the forseeable problem i was talking about. it wouldn't make any sense to push out a map worth playing if all the objects won't be viewable, or crash the map, when in game.

grass marsh with swamp marsh(i'm done with the marshes):

and, the first dry-land road cover:

i will be making road cover for every terrain. so far, grass, swamp, and rough are done. the templates for them are working just fine.

something i'm interested in working on right now, haunted objects:

for right now, i'm working on just the tree(done, with 3 variations), but i will have a haunted house, haunted earth with stuff coming up from the ground, shadow people, etc.

Actually, that dry leveling up tree may be just fine without the red eyes and stuff and can still be used as a leveling up tree for inferno terrain, cursed terrain etc etc. When making dark maps, you can't use the leveling up tree as of now, it looks so out of place on those terrains.

yeah, i have a version made that has no color inside. but if you're saying that the tree doesn't look right on dark terrains, then you're wrong. it may not look as good on light terrains, but on dark terrains it fits like a glove.

btw, the haunted house i'm working on:

not done yet, the inner light will be tweaked, as well as more frames. this is just first draft progress i'm showing. after i'm done with all the base frames, then i will tweak to erase visual problems, and i might want to add a tongue rolling out.

i am saying the original built in tree wont fit dark terrain or cursed rerrain etc etc and this can be used as the leveling up tree instead on those terrains.

I would add between frames windows light up randomly. You can use storm lightning effects upon, there is a def of that I made for Atlantis, I used a lot of empty frames between to randomize:

i am done with the haunted house, and am working on a haunted version of the subterranean gate, using a newer version as a base. i finished making smaller rain, and heavier rain, both much more realistic than the last version that was in wog.

lol, i just found where everybody's been getting all their stuff from, all of the objects from other games, etc. i will have many thousands of objects to play with.

btw, i have found a ton of new things(and ideas) for forge areas.

have had to fix 2 buildings, and manually make 2 shadows so far, i know i will have to make more. i have been trying to reach grayface on the shadow issue with deftool for months, and am either being ignored, or he just hasn't been on hc since i last saw him. never seen anything about the nude towns, either.

no, bes. they are not included(because i have not updated it), along with everything else i have done.

i appreciate your enthusiasm for my work, bes.

i still have not gotten a response from grayface about the shadow alignment problem with his h3deftool, so i am still doing a lot of shadows manually. i have many more things to make, i am always making more stuff for h3. getting the shadow-alignment thing fixed would be nice.
