tbh that looks more like bodypaint than like a tat. Evenso, it's pretty, I suppose (firebirds <3)
I really dgaf whether someone adorns themselves with a tattoo or not, so I'm not gonna get all sanctimonious about it. Personally, I find them neither a turn-on NOR a turn-off (unless they're really ugly tats on an attractive person, otherwise who the F cares.), so meh.
I wouldn't get one for the same reason, tbh. This being said, piercings are the bigger Evil imo. So ugly ::shudders::

The picture is pretty, but if that was my girlfriend, I would like to look at her, not some random picture of a fantasy creature. If I want to look at a fantasy creature, I'll use my computer or a magazine. And as pretty as it is, chances are that after looking at it for 10 years, I'll be rather tired of it.

Tattoos are everywhere nowadays. They ceased being cool when they became yet another fashion accessory. My "favourite" type is the writings in some "exotic" language, like Chinese or Arabic which seem to be especially mainstream among girls - the lines could (and sometimes do) say "I'm a stupid ape who thinks that this is a Buddhist poem" but the poor wannabe will probably never realize that.

As the common saying goes, I would prefer not to slap a bumper sticker on a Porsche.
It really completely depends on the artwork though. It's not something I personally ever see myself doing as I tend to be a minimalist when it comes to my wardrobe and appearance; I want comfort and I want cleanliness, the rest is not important.
There's definitely some neat looking tattoos out there. My personal taste on the matter is: less is more. A tattoo of a dolphin on the lower back, just above the butt, can be potentially classy and sexy. I'm not a fan of turning yourself into a walking mosaic though. With some pain and painkillers, tattoos are reversible so it's not the end of the world one way or another. If it looks like a piece of **** in 20 years, then get rid of it.

Me too. I don't understand why people are so obsessed with them, everyone seems to have them here.
@ antipaladin: Respectfully, but don't you think there might come a day where a cancer smoking a joint is not what you want your body to be decorated with? It just seems like a message that one day you may feel will not symbolize everything you're standing for.
I endorse that. I don't like tatoo's, but it seem I'm one of the few that will never have one here. They are very popular here.

A friend of mine told me a story about his sister:
She has a tatoo on her arm with some chinese symbol. According to her and the tatoo artist it means "friendship". Her best friend has the same tatoo, on the same place of her body. Few years after she made the tatoo she was employed in the Bulgarian embassy somewhere in Asia and she met a lot of chinese people. Once one of them asked her why she has this tatoo on her arm, why exactly a symbol that means "soup"? Yep. Nice one, isn't it?

Ohh I knew there would be haters. I have no particular problem with people not liking tattoo's. I happen to love them. Obviously there are some people who have been inked and its cheap and nasty looking. You have to pick your tattoo artists carefully.
As for the usual humdrum about "oh you will find it so hard to get a job". Well unless you have tattoo'd your face and neck, this is a silly argument. My tattoo's are covered while I work, but that's because I think its appropriate that I am reasonably covered up and not half naked while working. Being tattoo'd has never once stopped me from getting work (and I work with the elderly). I have never purposefully hidden them. The tattoo design on my right lower arm is mostly uncovered, even at job interviews. And I haven't been turned down once. So no, that particular argument doesn't really ride anymore
Some people like jewellery, some like to dye their hair crazy colors. Quite honestly I take more offence at parents letting their little daughter run around dressed like a 12 year old prostitute, than an adult with a tattoo.
However, if you don't like tattoo's, no one is forcing you to have any.
Oh and Joonas, sorry dear but that picture is of body painting, not tattoo's. As nice as it is, its not a tattoo.

LOL - tired of looking at it. Honestly guys, do you really believe that after finding a partner, a couple of tattoo's on her body is going to be the thing you focus on more. Maybe that just shows your immaturity towards relationships etc.
I would hope that you form a relationship with someone you are in love with, which means that you don't notice the little things that others might consider unattractive, i.e. big nose, receding hairline, scars etc. Are you honestly saying that a tattoo would be so gross that you would never be able to see the person beneath it?! That is sad, very sad. Heavens forbid, the poor girl of your affections has to have a caesarean giving birth to your child. Would that scar be too much for you too??
A girl having a tattoo is no different than a guy with a massive hooter. As we are expected to still love you after you grow a big fat beer gut, have hair growing out of your noses and ears, you can quite simply get over it and stop being so damn shallow.
Oh and Blizz - don't concern yourself with my snatch.
