It's boosting the Pao's attack to 20.
When Ammar's stats are sufficiently high, he draws a card everytime he casts a spell. With chain casting and graduation and a few cheap spells, he can lower his casting cost to 0. Then you keep on casting and drawing cards and casting until your unit is a ****ing magic steroid case.
And then it's game over man.

I just witnessed Ammar in jackpot with similar vibe above...it's actually quite ridiculous...they need to nerf him big time, very broken and unbeatable

It's an interesting playstyle, but I'm not sure being able to suddenly draw your entire deck is a good thing.
Personally I'd set a rule in the game that no cost can ever be lower than 1, unless the card's cost is already 0.

Anyhow there is a lot of them in jackpot at the moment and it's really a coin-flip (i'm talking as a cassa player). The deck looks very strong but if i can kill the creature with all those spells (altar), dispel in time (cleansing light) or stop them (prison) i can win b/c they have almost no board presence.

Well it was my 3rd jackpot.
jackpots are not easy maybe you should try swisses. And if you are not in jackpot (meaning Tiers) you lose quite a lot of gold.

A few words about meta:
- today Ammar was by far the most popular deck
- Akane and Mirinda are also popular from Academy
- lot's of Sanc rushes: esp. Ishuma with or w/o magic - this is very strong: outmanoeuvre and hero's special ability are very unpredictable, Takana,
- many Adar-Maliks - necro is still strong, but no longer so dominating, some Serias
- surprisingly few Sandalphons, i thought they will be winning in the new FW meta
- ofc. Dhalmiria - this is still one of the best decks esp. strong vs haven (Lurkers) and some inferno rushes
- I also met Zardoc and Crag Hack, Crack Hack with a good hand is really amazing

Yes, I've seen a number of Crag players too  For some reason I expected to see more Morgan, Ignatius, Shalan, Zouleika but most people are probably still trying the decks they couldn't earlier. That said lately there are days I don't even play or play several duels only so I may be missing a lot

Nice one Nameless! I got 8 win streak in jackpot only to meet Ammar and got fubar'ed! So stopping there to get 3 maybe 2 tier gold win....
For those counters mentioned above for Ammar, it's too situational, yes they work against Ammar, but not that good against other factions.
Agree with Emp & Adrius, to be able to keep drawing cards consistently in one turn is a little too much and should be nerfed pronto!

To be honest, played 2 Ammars, one killed me because I didn't know how to play against him, and I destroyed the second one just by killing creatures, so never reached level 6 in magic.
Both games were with Phrias.
To be honest, I think that Sanctuary right now is far stronger than other factions(this doesn't have to be true, just my opinion). I've met a lot more Sanctuary on the ladder than any other faction(which wasn't the case before FW, I pretty much faced all of the factions about equally, but certain heroes more than the others), and I just can't win at all against a bit competitive Sanctuary player.
When I win(like 1-2 out of 6-7 games), I win because the player had a really bad hand/I had amazing hand/the opponent is making a lot of mistakes(especially against Phrias, they keep getting monsters in a line.  )...
And it is not like that I am playing one deck, I am talking from a perspective of all decks in a last week that I've been playing, Garant, Phrias, Adar-Malik, Seria, Crag Hack.

I've seen many iteresting decks latly. Hakeem Mill, Ignitios Discard etc.
I was also thinking about some deck. Using Sahaar skirmishers Nethersouls and mass rage, But I need some more cards for them

Adar-Malik with Mass Rage, Void Wraiths and Cursed Bounds sounds a lot cooler, and it is a troll deck.
