I Like the hunter legendary, might make controll hunter possible .

I'm totally fine if people 'tech in' a poisonous card. if it is one of the adept creatures it will Always remain a risk (there are 8 adept options or something? tough luck if you don't get poisonous!) while other poisonous creatures are kinda bad. If hunter will become playable but like tier 2, people won't even bother teching a counter to it. Just like nobody uses kezan mystic vs reno mages that are generally ran on ladder for example.

Edit: can't see the newest revealed cards, blast this filter at work

Well I do actually love the BIG stats on the dino, just what we are expecting from this expansion. A 9/9 for 7 mana is great value, especially if you curve from Savannah Highmane into this Oh and at least it is better than King Krush

Shadow Visions has insane potential for making new kind of decks, combo decks. I wonder if they could print a card that gets more powerful the more copies of them you play. I would love it. But if turn 4 lethals remain a thing then LOL, you can't spend 2 mana with no effect. *fingers crossed*

The 1/1 Crystalline Oracle is fine. It is like Babbling book or Webspinner. I think it will similarly be played more than one would imagine at first just by looking at it.

Paladin Legendary looks good! But such a situational card, dang. I sometimes have a hard time playing Keeper of Uldaman already and it just sits in my hand. But if you have a lot of 1/1's on your board this becomes insane value card

Due to a quest I just played 5 games with my N'zoth-Reno-Hunter. I won 5 out of 7 games. In this deck I actually need a controlish 7 drop. So I take all my words back. Dred is a great tool and I will auto-craft him!

Note: Sadly this will be my wild-deck. At least I will try it out in wild.

New reveals:
I love the pala.
The discover-spell is pretty useful I guess, but I was just not blown away.
The 1 mana drop is average or even below. It does not add anything great to priest imo.

I have already decided on which legendaries I want and which I must craft.
1. King Dred. Hell year.
2. Sunkeeper Tarim. I am a collector of Paladin legendaries. I like his artwork and I believe he can be useful.
3. Elise

Quest-cards I am not sure of yet. And of course this is my list now. I hope to of course get them in packs and hopefully craft as few as possible.

EDIT: Clutchmother Zavas new warlock legendary. I must have for discard-lock! Wuhu!

WOAH!

http://www.hearthpwn.com/news/2293-mike-donais-talks-elementals-and-reveals-four-new

The tempo at which they're introducing new cards is crazy. So much to digest today. But I like it. I didn't like those irritating votings.

So we now have a good look at the Elementals, their 'tribe mechanic' (MD: "We want each minion type to have its own unique feel and gameplay."). What do you guys think? I like that they showed us cards like Fire Fly which are designed to boost this mechanic (plus those even look like quite good cards on their own). And c'mon, give us Therazane already!

My opinion? Interesting idea, but again, it all depends on the meta. Soggoth wasn't played that much even when meta was slower, so what about Ozruk? He might be such a tempo loss actually. Elementals just scream control, but we need cheap Taunts to block aggresive decks. Tar Creeper is a step in the right direction...

Their mechanic adds an interesting twist to the whole game. Basiaclly we're getting 'set up' turns. Think about how nice it would be if sth similiar worked for Dred for instance. Or King Krush? You reduce the high cost backslash by playing sth in the previous turn. And because it's conditional it's not OP.

EDIT: Da faq! I just realized how well Stone Sentinel curves with Fire Elemental . Of course Mages still have Flamestrike

Looks cool elemental synergy! shaman gets all the great stuff again it seems.

What I personally mainly like is the fact of substitues cards like firefly and the mage card. This will allow other classes to play with mountain giants and twilight drakes because you don't actualy lose a card.

This is what I think can be called good design. Those cards have a lot of uses like you say. For Handlock, for Elemental synergy, even for combo decks. And they're balanced statwise.

It's still pure speculation on my side but now Therezane is a must! I wonder if she'll be Neutral or Shaman Legendary. And what effect she would potentialy have? Maybe sth like double the Elemental effects, or gain x based on how many Elementals you've played... though Elemental Lords tend to have more versatile abilities (ofc Neptulon didn't turn out that great).

Btw that Paladin Legendary looks nice, but it's a bit lazy from a design standpoint. Oh and also that Warlock Legendary is interesting. Discardlock is already strong and it already gained two new powerful tools. But what's with the Beast tag? For The Curator maybe?

I do think Therazane is next up for Shaman. (A little wish is that they would rotate the elemental lords such as Therazane and Neptulon over to classic cards as I think of them as standard lore cards).

I love the new 7 4/4 elemental. I think it is great value. With these little fire flies it is so easy to trigger the effect or as you said Fire Elemental.

The fire flies are also the key to making Orzuk work. keep a few of them in your hand and on turn 8 throw out a bunch of those guys.. boom you got a pretty huge Orzuk.

I see your idea with the curator and clutchmother, but I dont run beasts or murlocs in my discard lock, so I wouldn't get any value out of the curator.

EDIT: New shaman cards revealed.
Shaman quest is focused on murlocs.. :/

They just had to do it...

Though that Finley motif on art is a nice touch

On the evaluation side, if they want this to work they need some really good follow-up cards (maybe that Dinosaur?). I've played some Murloc Shaman with Neptulon (which has a similiar effect and is not conditional) and it didn't work well...

Hmm so far this seems like the easiest one to achieve, just play that "summon 4 murlocs" spell twice and ur almost there.

I think it is horrible! Mainly because I think it is taking Shaman in yet another direction - a direction they have already tried - There is already jade, totem, elemental.. Now they are bringing back murlocs. I have yet to make murloc-shaman work. Oh well.. We will see..

Do you think that due Sir. Finley on the artwork that he will return?

Imo its effect is too slow. The Priest Legendary from quest is maybe harder to achieve, but if you survive long enough it buys you a second life like Reno.

The Murloc on the other hand, even if played on turn 6-8 won't give you a big enough impact. Of course I might become surprised, but that's ok. I would like to see a viable Murloc Shaman deck. Hmm, and adapting your Murlocs with Divine Shield would make their survivability for AoEs 'a tad' better...

Did you guys hear about Galvadon's (Paladin Quest Legendary) supposed ability (probably confirmed at this point as it's a translation of a leaked Japanese description)? "Battlecry: Adapt 5 times" which makes sense cause his the last Kaleido[scope]saur. That would be OP, cause you could make him a Charge+Windfury+Divine Shield+Poisonous+3 ATK Minion. Yikes! Brann anyone?

I'm pretty confident the quest will be sth like "buff your minions 7 times" cause they will try to support the hand mechanic which didn't work out like their two other Gadgetzan ideas...

Charge is (luckily) not one of the adaptations!
They are
- Windfury
- Divine Shield
- Stealth
- Taunt
- +3 Attack
- +3 Defence
- +1/+1
- Deathrattle: two 1/1 Plants
- Poisonous
- Can't be target of spells or abilities

I wonder if it adapts 5 times could it get several same buffs? It is more interesting that way in my mind. Which means that it could be a huge huge huge minion which can't be target of spells or abilities, LOL, what a pain to deal with! If it starts as an 8/8 then it could be like 8/17 Taunt, Can't Be Target of Spells or Abilities!

Or 17/8 Stealth, Windfury, GG

I like it, pretty insane

My bad, there's no Charge (at least for now ). Guess they don't want to go through the whole mess again (Warsong and stuff).

But giving Galvadon Stealth (and DS) pretty much works almost as charge as it's hard to counter without Taunt in hand (and there's Poisonous also ).

EDIT: Oh my:

http://www.hearthpwn.com/news/2364-kalimos-primal-lord-the-hearthpwn-ungoro-card

A bit salty it's not Therazane, but damn, this is such a great card. It's almost an epitome of a perfect Legendary. Good on curve (Stone Sentinel anyone?), good statline, incredibly flexible (4 great choices to pick depending on the situation). The only downside I can think of is that he must rely on Elemental tribe to gain the effect, so it's conditional, but at the same time I don't think Shaman ever had a problem with having at least a few Elementals in his deck Fire Elemntal was always a staple at least. This is probably the first must-craft Legendary for me. I assume we'll be seeing a lot of him...

This what I mean when I said the damn shaman quest sucks. They are not supporting the elemental tribe in the shaman quest. Makes no sense to me.

Oh well, cool legendary. Great on curve. Thought his battlecry was random, but you get to choose, which means he is pretty great.

Maybe it wouldn't be a good idea to make everything in Shaman about Elementals? Guess they wanted to support other deck types as well. Elementals still got yet another cool on curve (after Tar Creeper), anti-aggro card in the form of Tol'vir Stoneshaper. And if Quests will start to be a thing, they can always add another one, Elementals oriented this time (Summon all Elemental Lords to activate it )...

The just revealed Rouge Quest and... I don't know how to even evalute it...

I love elemental shaman. I know I am very all over the place with shaman, but damn it is looking good.

The Tolvir is great. Really great!

New paladin card = good. But not flashy or anything.

Rogue.. what to do.. what to do..
- I have given it a lot of thought; it is pretty easy to succeed with the quest. It really is. The quest is actually in line with a lot of rogue cards that have been added.. even that imo dumb ferryman from Gadgetzan is now useful. Youthful Pandaren is usable. Remember Anub'ar ambusher? ( I know he is wild, but again).
But is the reward good? Is it worth it? No.. Unless you can overwhelm your opponent with insane board control..

It is a weird quest all in all.. but the artwork is fantastic.

Yeah, I'm actually more worried about the effect. I just can't fit it to any type of deck. I know that Rouge usually plays smaller minions, so the 5/5 seems interesting. But Rouge was never about minions actually. The effect would suggest that it leans more toward Control (is Control Rouge even possible?), but the effect actually works in contradiction with big late game minions. I just don't know...

People make a good point about Rouge being the hardest class to evalute each pre-expansion. The class goes into suprising directions each time (or does not go in any direction and stays in Miracle ).

Another 'bigger' reveal at the Bahamas Championship. Though the hour is a bit off in my case. BTW I got the free pack for voting and guess what? I've got yet another WotoG Epic I didn't have before. It's Darkspeaker so nothing to talk about, but from a collectors standpoint it's very nice

Well there are many ways to make multiple copies of your units for Rogue, buttttt, those cards are just sooo awful against aggro :S

Then again if you want all your minions to be 5/5 your own quest deck will be aggro based, lol. Maybe it balances out!

But to Blizzard because I know you read HC boards : Turn 4 Lethal = BAD
Turn 7 Lethal = Good/Decent

How would you guys fix Rogue?

- New hunter card! Tol'Vir Warden - Draw two 1-mana minions from your deck.

Is it good? Well, who wants to draw two 1-mana minions at round 5?

Oh well.. It might be usable, but what I love is the artwork. The artwork in general for this expansion is so good!

Fix Rouge? Hard to tell, I think the class itself is a problem.

People tried many interesting decks over the years, but imo it always comes down to the fact that Rouge is a burst type which is based on mawing down your opponents either as fast as possible or in a one clean combo. This was best seen when Oil Rouge was popular but it was too OP and was nerfed. Nowadays it's simply too slow when facing Aggro (it won't outburst them) and too 'steam' reliant when facing Control meaning that if an opponent survives the intial agression he will simply outheal/outrun him. Some say the class main problem is that it lacks survivability and healing. I would give them less gimmicky cards and more control tools... but because the game has changed since it was released maybe the whole class would actually need a redo.

There are smarter people then me though and maybe they'll figure out something else...

And about the Hunter card hmm... Well it does draw your small minions so it fixes your late game, plus it's a turn 5 play and Hunter doesn't have many good turn 5 plays. But I actually think this card is a hint to sth else. For one Elementals (it will draw Fire Fly), or maybe for some Dinos which will require 1-drops to synergize (by eating them?). Maybe there will be an 'eating' mechanic for Dinos? Like crabs have? That would actually make sense... they said sth about carnovirous Dinos (like Dred) being always hungry if I recall.
