I just got Captain Greenskin (Legendary Pirate) - Do you think I should DE or could he be viable in Pirate Warrior, he does boost weapon dmg.

Greenskin is viable for pirate warrior (especially the +1 durability is nice) but if you don't play that it's safe to DE

I would make a Pirate warrior deck and play with it! Just to see how the dude works. If you after that absolutely need something else and you would use more then feel free to disenchant him. ^^

I wouldn't dust him a second time. It's the only dusted L I've ever kinda regretted. Not because his good in particular, but he would definately find a use in Pirate decks, which I want to try more seriously at some point in time. Sure, I dusted him in a time when I was really short on dust and that helped me with something else, but at this point in time my collection is already big enough that each additional crafted card is more of a bonus then actual 'must-craft' card. Shame really...

This weeks brawl has a nice idea, but imo it would be a smash hit if it weren't random, but customizable. If it's a brawl it's temporary so it wouldn't damage the game in any way (well maybe players would whine about making it an actual mode afterward), but the idea in itself is cool (Rouge with secrets? Hunter with draw?).

I kept him! For Pirate warrior.

This weeks brawl is fun, but 1) too few of the second class' cards, 2) way too random in what style the deck is.

^This

One of the most interesting decks I've played in a while. Had to make some changes (I don't have two WotOG's for instance), but a short run with this deck brought me some of the craziest wins I had in Heartshtone. One was with (probably) Healadin. He cleared my board with Eq+Pyro and undoubtetly thought I can't win at this point. After some combo-wombos with Violet and tokens I managed to do a 24 dmg otk combo (had Savage Roar, topdecked Innervate and Swipe with Nourish ). Guy probably didn't know what hit him... and another one was with a Tempo Mage who thought that (again) I had no chance of winning. Brought me down to 3 hp, but didn't have any finishers (even with Cabalists Tome, what luck!). I played WotOG in previous turn, boosted them Wisps with Call of the Wild and fired Living Roots for exact lethal Way to make two more salty @blobs somewhere

I saw this deck played by Trump on his YouTube channel. It is pretty devastating.. There were a lot of different win conditions, but it is pretty unique and fun. Sadly I have zero of the needed cards.

Yeah the deck has a crazy number of win conditions. It works on many levels: spell dmg, swarming the board (it's a Token deck at it's core) or gimmicky Yogg attack if everything else fails (though I didn't draw Yogg even once so far). Zero cards? You probably mean WotOG cause the rest are pretty basic for Druid (pretty happy I was able to utilize it, it was called one of the worst Epics in WotOG mind you). Or do you mean Yogg? He's actually not uber-important. Fandral is great, you should think of crafting him. His tricky to play though. Because he's an auto-remove when played he has to be timed well. Opponents who don't have the means (or brains) to remove him soon come to regret it. The deck is also pretty much customizable. Firstly I tried the Gadzetan variant, but it was too slow. I'm using Emperor T cause the WotOG+buff combo is usually hard to pull off with it's mana cost. Malygos is also an option if you want to try the more spell dmg heavy variant. Cool deck nevertheless and fits into Standard

Because the time to craft another L is drawing near, do you guys think I should craft Xaril? I think he's a very versatile card for Rouge, but recently I see more and more opinions saying he's overhyped, and mainly a tempo loss. My other big candidates are Al'Akir and Cairne (who probably is the safest bet from the bunch, but currently I'm not that concentrated on Deathrattle decks, plus most of them seem to run pretty well without him). And ideas?

PS: I know this is getting boring, but lost two games in a short span of time to a Ragnaros who hit my face in spite of having 4 minions on board. Lost another one cause opponent Ram Wrangled Acidmaw to break through my Taunts. Yeah, skill over RNG...

I always think about crafting neutrals before anything class specific, unless they are insanely valuable like Archmage etc. But I think you are starting to have most neutral legendaries. I would go for Xaril because you love DR-Rogue. He can be put into any Rogue deck also, which is a bonus. Next you could think about Al-Akir because Shaman nets you wins so you will play it when you are salty And not many use Al-Akir at the moment it seems, so it will come as a nice surprise to most when you throw him on board. Cairne surprisinly last, although he is the best of these three, if you are not using him in decks I won't craft him at the moment.

Recently I've not been playing Rouge that much. Both my decks got a bit rusty, and Xaril might change it It's also the case with Shaman, Al'Akir might 'refresh' him a bit. On the other hand a big chunk of decks I'm playing regulary atm are Deathrattle ones. Hmm, well I think the order will be Xaril->Cairne->Al'Akir. Thx for the insight Minion

RNG has really snowed my at lately!!!

Imagine playing against Priest with your Warrior. Your only and last home is to draw Gorehowl, to get back into the game. I draw it. He gets a frigging Harrison Jones from a Shade the same turn. From 20 cards he got just the one that kills my game completely.

Next game is even worse. I play against a C'thun Mage with my Warrior with Sloggoth the Slitherer. It is actually a good card against Mage, prevents Sheep in particular. However, I play Sloggoth (a 5/9) against him on an empty board. He plays a 12/12 C'thun, that KILLS MY 9 HP SLOGGOTH. Could have won next turn.

I'm having a hard time fitting justicar in my decks atm. It's good for fatigue decks but qith c'thun and n'zoth decks around it's hard to go to fatigue.

It's still a solid card for the classes minion mentioned

Well C'Thun Warrior that uses the Gorehowl needs tons of armor. If you don't have that feel I am lacking removal, but that is probably just me. Also I wouldn't do a regular CTRL Warrior without Justicar Other Warrior decks don't need it, and some C'thun lists don't use her either but I haven't managed to make it work.

Priest is in such a bad spot that hard to say anything But winning against aggro usually means you need all the heal you can get.

Paladin it is 50-50. I use either Elise or Justicar basically (or greedy lists use both lol) to win the long game.

Hmm let's see @emil...
You said yourself you dislike Warrior. Warrior and Priest (another one of your 'favorites' ;P) are probably the only classes that make full use of Justicar. I also tried her with good results in my Inspire Mage, but that was a rather gimmicky deck. She's not that versatile (in potential class sense) as one would hope, your safe to craft her only if you really wanna play those two classes in which she can really shine, but only because of the effect, cause if opponent has board (and usually he has) her body is rather a tempo loss. In those two classes she's good because of their controlish nature: they fully make use of the boosted hero power late game. I don't see that much of her lately though...

Did I say I hate Mill decks? Kudos to my opponent, I didn't know such a Reno Mill Mage deck existed: was playing Taunt Warrior, had around 60 HP with armor and I think to myself: what can go wrong? I mean, he won't out-fatigue me with 12 hp and an already popped Ice Block (of course he also healed up with Reno at some point)... Guess again, he played the usual Brann + Oracle combo, but he also played Animated Armor :/ over 15 minutes down the drain... there were some misplays on my side but I didn't suspect that Animated Armor for one.

On a side note Blood Warriors, which I recently got from a pack, seems to work quite well in this Taunt W of mine. I don't play any of the usual self-dmg decks like Patron (which seem to be natural for this card), but Taunts are minions which will always be hurt Some additional walls to set-up that finisher aren't bad...

At the moment I am actually playing a controlish-Nzoth priest. The only card I am missing from that deck is Justicar Trueheart. Though I have now realized that Darkshire Alchemist does the trick so far. It is an average replacement that gives me that extra turn or two that I need to prolong the game enough to ensure my victory.

And I do not play control warrior, and you are correct Blob, I am not a fan of playing warrior. So Justicar Trueheart will have to wait, if I ever craft her.

But my next legendary is a week away (maybe less) and I cannot choose. I have a tendency to craft after my feelings; what do I find awesome, fun or different. I really wanna craft Ragnaros Lord of Light, he would complete my Paladin legendary. The issue is I need more rare cards or even epics. Bigger issue is I have no druid cards; I miss common ones. I lack a huge pool of standard legendaries (mage, druid, Warlock, dragons). I could if I wanted to DE a lot of my GvG legendaries and maybe craft two legendaries in a week. But the choice is difficult.

Twin Lord is also a great choice, but I rarely play C'thun (mostly because I do not have Twin Lord).

Ahhh.. the choices.. The dilemma..

Oh and Blob please craft Xaril, I think you will like him. I use him a lot and he might be a tempo loss, but he is great with N'zoth and he can gain you tempo with his poisons (or you can get the freaking horrible ones and lose even more tempo).

Maybe it'll be easier if you simply give your fav picks, and we'll try to evalute them for you. Also, a good advice these days is to craft Classic Legendaries cause they'll never be rotated out

Yeah, C'Thun decks are really struggling without the Twins. If you don't want to craft them then maybe invest in Amber Weavers (I don't have them :/) and stick to Druid. Using them with Sunfury Protector might be good as a substitute, and Druid also has that Arakkoa.

I pretty much decided on him. A couple more packs and I'll craft him. His potions are not an issue in a Yogg deck. It's all about spamming spells And the good thing about low mana cost cards is that you'll use them more often, so you can say Xaril is a good investment

Favorite picks
Yogg - I find him so fun and random.

Ragnoros Lord of Light - I really wanna try that heal-N'Zoth deck. (And he completes my Paladin collection)

Dragons
- Alex
- Deathwing (both)
- Ysera
- Malygos

Useful picks for every day use
Archmage Antonidas - I have no mage legendaries
Twin lord - Only if I wanted to play C'thun
Justicar Trueheart
Leeroy

Xaril in Yogg decks is as you point out a great thing. He is so versatile. I cannot believe people still doubt him. He is great fun and easy to use.

Ok, here goes:
Yogg -> When I opened him in a pack I was unhappy, but he enabled me to make like 3 new decks which is plenty in my opinion. It's not even about how funny it is to play him. It's about the opportunities for interesting decks he creates (see my Druid deck which is a blast, and Rouge is also interesting). You don't even need to play him in order to win games with decks like Yogg Druid, but he's this kind of an 'excuse' to build this type of decks. Plus I see your kinda a fan of his. Go for it

Ragnaros 'Lite' version -> don't know much about this one, he only seems to fit in one type of deck. Better ask Minion for this (as I recall he has him). One of my friends also got him from a pack, I might as well ask him if you want.

Alex -> pretty useful, but only in specific type of decks. Because her ability is a battlecry I had to resign from using her in a few of my decks and I find this troublesome. She's more of a specific type of deck card then a Dragon which you can throw into any Dragon deck. As far as Dragons come, she's rather further down the list... but you won't regret it if you craft her, she's a staple in many of those irritating decks like Freeze M or Control W ;P

Deathwing classic -> I got him from a pack, but hard to tell if his crafting material nowadays. He's a Dragon so a must-have for me, fun to play but tricky to use. He was 'boosted' significantly with the addition of second Dragonlord -> who is a beast. Lord is a great card but only for Dragon decks. I doubt you'll craft them both though...

Ysera -> she will always be viable. 12 health, Priest-proof to some extent and a draw mechanic. Safe bet.

Malygos -> No. I mean he is crafting material, but nowadays he does not work. He only works in specific decks cause aside from the ability he's statline does not make him that useful lategame (Ysera at least has draw). Needs a deck built around him. I'm trying to work him out with Dragonlord, but so far even Nozdormu is more useful because of the surprise effect...

Antonidas -> he will always be viable. Safe bet. He's even useful if not played in spell heavy decks (like Mech Mage?). Insta-threat, and even if he spams a single Fireball this still might be game-winning.

Twin Lord -> you said it yourself, only if you wanna experiment with C'Thun decks.

Justicar -> I already voiced my opinion. At this point there are more useful cards for you to craft.

Leeroy -> I still find him very useful. Got him from a pack waaay back, and used him since. Nowadays there is a bigger choice of cards that can be used for a similiar effect but he's still useful for that additional 'push/finisher' in decks like Zoo/Aggro (great with PO or Rockbiter).

He's what you should do imo @emil: craft Yogg cause he'll give you a ton of possibilities for new decks and a lot of fun. I'm not so sure about his competitiveness, but I hear some players get some good results with Yogg decks. The second one should be either Antonidas or Ysera. Those are the most versatile from the bunch and I guarantee you'll never regret crafting them (I do not, and I crafted them both). Rest must have specific decks built around them.
