Who needs legendaries  Oh I still like 'em  maybe because I only have a limited amount and some of them are the weaker ones
But Cabel priest is a must have. It can really be annoying

I never said you would. I was just referring to that it is chump-change, where the full package doesn't fall into that category.
Don't get me wrong, I think they know what they are doing. They came to this price because that is the amount a certain amount of players will pay for it.

WHAT A DOWNER!
I log in after a few days of absence from H, only to see a big "new Heroes" in the main news! First I was like COOL! And then after reading meh...
It's nice and all but I really thought that we'll see some new classes. Unfortunately it's only cosmetic. I know 9 euros is not much for <Euro>fags, but when converting it into my currency it's like paying for a full expansion to a PC game. So no thank you...
Plus Warrior is a rather Orc-oriented class so it feels really cheap coming from Blizzard. I know that Hearthstones setting is a card game in an inn, but to see Grom as Magnis Legendary minion seems kinda awkward...

I have made a mistake - it is not 9 euro. It is 9 Dollars.
But I agree. I would rather have seen the Death Knight or another class (monk?).
I hadn't thought about the Grommash thing.. Well..

New Hearthstone mode - Tavern Brawl
So, what do you guys think? This could be refreshing, but first I've gotta see it with my own eyes 
I wonder about those new Hero skins. One looks like Sylvanas Windrunner but it would be strange to see her two versions in the game. Maybe her sister then - Vareesa? Mage hero is probably Medivh because of those pointy feathers...

I think they have a tradition of not making class Heroes into actual cards...
And it was confirmed with a leak of dedicated cardbacks that the heroes are (indeed) Medivh, and Alleria Windrunner (my bad, it's the second sister, which makes sense cause she was a hero in Warcraft II )

Oh well.. I have no feelings towards the windrunners really.  I cannot remember her really.. Maybe I should replay WC2
And again Mediev was never one I cared for ..
but if I ever get rich I will buy all the portraits

Question for you guys. Do you think Dragon Paladin is weak? Why do I see so little of him in the game? I'm asking from curiosity.
Sure, there are times I'm loosing with this deck, but in general I have a high win ratio with it, I really enjoy playing with it (still my favorite deck atm) and imo aside from Patron Warrior not many decks can handle him (in case of Patron proably because Consecration deals 2 dmg, but when the Warsong+Grim combo rolls it's pretty much unstoppable anyhow, so...).
I also play Patron Warrior from time to time and not only I don't enjoy playing it, I find it not that strong (or maybe I just suck at playing it ). Or let me put it in other words: I find that other cards like Frothing B and Weapons are enough to win on their own and if I'm winning with this deck, usually it's not because of the dreaded Warsong+Grim combo. I suppose my problem with Patron deck is that I like to play more consistent decks. What I mean are decks in which every card brings sth like my Dragon-Pala (practically every draw is a solid minion that guarantees trouble for my opponent one way or another), whereas decks like Patron are ones in which you have to have a combination of cards to make it work. I'm also trying a Malygos Warlock deck at the moment which is based on similar control-ish mechanics: survive, play Malygos and one-shot you opponent with burst dmg. My point is that generally I don't like this kind of playstyle in which you are so depended on the draw...
Back to my question: when I read about the current Hearthstone meta I only see opinions like "Dragon Paladin is weak" or "Dragon themed decks didn't work". I wonder why is that, cause when I look at my Dragon-Pala deck I find it pretty strong. Though I don't play Ranked. What do you guys think?

I do not think it weak. But it can be countered if you fail at mulligan or just the early game.. My win-rate is high with the deck, but when I lose a game. I lose hard. It might be that?
But all in all it is one of the must enjoyable decks I have.. So I will keep playing it and I will keep tweeking it.
Patron warrior is a horrible deck. When you get the board full of patrons it is the must enjoyable thing ever, but it rarely happens for me.. :/

While I'm quite good when it comes to intuition and calculating dmg I almost miscalculate every time when I roll the Warsong+Grim combo. You must juggle between triggering Grims multiply ability by hitting minions or hitting face enough times to kill your opponent (yeah I know there are other triggers like Whirlwind, but you must have them in hand). It can get really confusing. And you have to have Thaurissan to reduce the cost at least once cause otherwise you have to stall and it might be to late. All in all if you miscalculate and don't finish off your opponent in one shot, they're able to counter it with Flamestrike for instance, and your toast (literally)...
That's why I dislike this type of decks: they are based on calculations and hard decision making (attack now or wait etc), you could even say their mechanical in nature, they go by a specific sequence. It can also be said for decks like Oil Rouge: one mana less and you can't roll out an Oil combo (I can't count how many times this has happened to me), while your opponent finishes you next turn. Where's the joy in playing that? Sure it's nice if your combo clicks, but usually it doesn't. With decks like Dragon-Pala when I loose I feel that my opponent was just better, or he had more luck (well there are irritating things like perfect Patron combo but they're a minority). With decks like Patron I either loose because of the draw (not enough components for combo) or miscalculations, so things which bother me more when I loose. I hope you guys understand where I'm getting at, cause that's how I feel about this game. And ultimately Heartshtone is about fun...

OMG! That was a lot of fun things there. Sadly I just dont wanna buy those portraits unless there is a cheap bundle pack
And well all that patron talk.. What to say
I agree that you need to calculate, but I do not agree that it is a bad thing. That is just something that adds to the tactical factor, which I believe is a good thing. But in my opinion the deck is just too often a struggle to play.

Yeah, Blizzard knows how to suck money from players, but in the case of portraits they overdid it. It seems they are making this into some kind of premium content only for the chosen (people with a lot of money on their hands). It's too much, especially when you convert the price from euros into my currency, but who cares, right? Yeah it's optional (F2P for life bro!), but let's face it, who wouldn't want some more customization options? It's a bit unfair, even if you look on it from a practical point of view (other F2P games have this too etc).
On a different note one thing came to my mind recently. Why I was never a fan of Volcanic Drake it's really surprising that I absolutely don't see this card in play. Ever. And it was in fact one of the most well received and commented cards before BRM's release. Everyone was saying that it'll make Zoo/Token decks a thing. It's quite interesting how things turn out in Hearthstone. And sad at the same time cause the game looses in terms of variety. I think that's why they are introducing Tavern Brawl. I really hope it will do something about this tendency of favoring some cards/decks over others...
