Would you be willing to say "Black Lives Matter"? If so, say it. Black Lives Matter.

Only decent lives matter. Black, white, purple, plaid, the skin color makes no difference. If you are a decent person, your life matters. If you are subhuman trash who's deeds during your short existence are despicable, you don't.

Of course not. Just decent people. Beliefs don't necessarily make you decent or indecent. Just right or wrong.

Well that is a relief

Ok, another question. Are protesters decent people? (ok I admit this is a silly one, only Sal here seems to think protesters are scum)

Are rioters decent people?

Finally, are looters decent people? Do their lives matter?

Is a man smoking weed and being high, fleeing from the police a decent person? He is resisting arrest if that counts.

If he is still smoking while fleeing the police after resisting arrest, his life matters. Even I want to study such a phenomenon and I don't have an health degree...

This is exactly the sort of absurdity that arises when people derive value from subjective or abstract notions, such as deeds or especially from criminality/lack of criminality.

Guess who isn't a criminal? Donald Trump. Is it because he hasn't committed a crime? Nope. It's because he's incredibly rich and he gets away with it. A poor person could/would have been jailed for groping people the way he did, among many other things.

And so the grossly circular logic completes itself. A person is decent because they haven't done dirty deeds. They haven't done dirty deeds because the law determines and defines what is or isn't a dirty deed, and the person isn't judged dirty because they enjoy the privilege and status to avoid being judged dirty, even though another person who does the exact same thing would/could be judged as dirty and therefore such a person's life would no longer be valuable... even though they did the same thing that a person did who is considered valuable, they are nonetheless not valuable because the laws says so. It's the sort of downward spiral that leads to tribal warfare and corruption on a scale that the country becomes incapable of daily functioning.

If we really want to compress your ideology into something shorter, here you go: might makes right.

Also, you haven't said black lives matter. Would you be wiling to say that? Those three words together. "Black lives matter".

Are you so confused? A protester may be decent people or not, but to know that you need more info about the person. The act of protesting, if peaceful, is an asset of any democracy.

Rioters/looters are not decent people.

All life is sacred. But if you attempt to someone else's life, you expose to retaliation. Looks like this is a hard thing to grasp for some weed sniffers here and there who believe any crime can be prevented by negotiating and smoking the calumet. Therefore have no clue how hard and dangerous is being a cop.

Everyone here knows you can't even call them protesters, you only use "rioters, looters", to describe them to make everyone seem bad. It has failed, there are sweeping reforms happening in US. Even some made by Republicans on the Senate Cheers!

Of course they do, elections are close.

Then everything will go as before, unless they start talking about real issues, like reforming black culture, victimhood mentality and welfare system, the only things who keep that community in the back.

1. It depends on what they're protesting. If their cause is just, then yes. If their cause isn't just(as in, defending child-abusing, drunk driving to the point of passing out behind the wheel) then they're just idiots and/or opportunists. Idiots? Pass. Opportunists? No. Anyone who attacked people that had nothing to do with their "oppressors" isn't decent. Neither is destruction not targeted at who is "oppressing" you. Statues aren't doing anything to anyone; they are just parts of history. And, even IF they were from a racist history, they were from a history that NONE of the protestors even were a part of. Idiocy.

2. No. Exploiting a movement for your own gain isn't decent.

3. No. See above.

4. Running from police means you are guilty, or feel guilty. I'm not inclined to believe people who run from the law, are innocent. NOBODY should believe so. But, that doesn't mean you aren't decent; it just means you are a criminal. Doing drugs doesn't make someone indecent; but what you do while on them, and what you did to acquire them, can be.

Finally, i'll reiterate: Rayshard Brooks WASN'T a decent human being.

You keep projecting your own cultural heritage on others. If that makes you feel better, go for it.

I just don't pay attention anymore to such trivial provocations.

Yes, yes, everyone can see, that you are so not paying attention.

But predictably, again your words show your true colors with your gleeful and derisive mentioning of the "cultural heritage". Kin liability and collective punishment is something the fascists were (and are) really keen on.

This is called an argument from authority, claiming a fictional number of viewers being on your side, therefore you must be right. Looks to me you both are feeling a bit insecure.
