Just goes to show that you are clueless. I mean, just use your brain and think about the wisdom of
a) allowing everyone to own firearms and
b) allowing slums to grow and fester
c) forbidding the trade of recreational drugs and sex.
Of course, immigration CAN lead to crimes, if you let immigrants fall into slums as well. The problem isn't immigrants, but SLUMS - large groups of people totally not integrated into society, which immigrants and refugees may sink into if you just leave them to themselves. Switzerland has strict MONEY-and JOB-oriented immigration laws, which is of course a way to avoid slums, but by no means the only one.
Hint: Look at the drug laws in Switzerland.

Jailing people here is a money maker for a lot of people.. I choose not to elaborate speaking as only partially informed, but I will say that every county jail, state penitentiary, wether private or whatever the case may be, makes more than a mediocre motel charges daily for someone to stay there.

This is not just to Ebonheart but also everybody else who's not doing it. Can you guys please use the link button while giving one, so we can simply click-open them. It's not much of a big deal when you're on a computer but selecting and copy/pasting the link on a tablet or phone can be a real pain in the ass sometimes.

It's very easy to answer your question. Look at the ones who has the lowest crime rates world wide and copy what they are doing, because obviously they must do something different.
Honestly, it's a very simple concept. Even a 7 year old child understands this.
So, why can't you?

Lol. Sociology never works that way. Something that works perfectly under X conditions may backfire under Z conditions. Switzerland and US are vastly different countries in almost every aspect imaginable.

Yes and you can turn that argument on itself by saying that because of said effects of X and Z you can never do anything and never expect certain results or claim A gun law is the cause of B shootings.
We can argue about this for an eternity about the pros and cons of it. I belong to the side who believes that you look at those with a working concept and copy/pick the raisins out of the cake of their concept.

In some cases, you can pick the raisins indeed but criminal activity in U.S. and Switzerland is as different as, say, students in Denmark and Iran. So advising similar education policies would be illogical.

Declaring that war in the first place was a really silly decision. It's as silly and hopeless as the war against homosexuality that is led with boot camps and brainwashing operations. Completely and utterly stupid.

also, as has already been said, in america prisons are businesses. in general, local governments receive about 70 dollars a day from the federal government for each inmate they have, and they cost only a fraction of that. and every business has a target consumer..

They can even run around other countries with their skirts wide open on a non secured network full of classified - top secret - the highest level of sensitive rating in our government... And be praised by the president Obama as having great judgment today.
I would be paranoid to walk around with drug related files or texts on my phone and this ***** is walking around with files threatening national security, and I am supposed to think she wasn't making it available on purpose? (**if I was a drug user**which I am not anymore lol)
