What I find interesting is that this poll produces roughly the same numbers as the official one does. We seem to be a good reflection.

Actually, Sylvan vs. Dungeon would have been an interesting match and Inferno vs. Fortress as well.
Sylvan vs. Fortress and Dungeon vs. Inferno are flawed votes since we saw the uproar that was caused by the absence of Sylvan and Dungeon from H6 vanilla ...

Dang bro. Sanctuary with the kirin mist and no flying units was one hell of a fun, replay value, and inferno's chaotic gating style with weak units as well, when you play inferno, no games are the same, ever!

Most likely Sylvan will win because it's a classical Heroes town.
I would like though to see a mixed faction with 2 elven creatures, 2 dwarven and others would be beasts from norse/celtic mythology(excluding warfare units), since both elves and dwarves are from norse mythology.
EDIT: The scene could be a mountain range. In the base is the forest and elven buildings are there. Dwarven buildings are near the top.
Core:
Elf Archer, Dwarf Axeman, Pixie
Elite:
Elf Blade-Dancer, Dwarf Rune-Priest, War Bear
Champion:
Unicorn, Lindwyrm
Warfare:
Treant, Fire Giant, Mountain Giant(upgrades to Frost)

This contest will not boost any sales. All it does is give the community, which Ubisoft has done a great deal to alienate in the past, the illusion they are contributing to the development of the game. I also highly doubt that anyone will buy the game for one faction. Fans will buy the game regardless. I'm sure there are a few people who may buy the game because they find a faction interesting, but I sincerely doubt the inclusion of the Slyvan or Fortress will have a significant impact on sales.
this reminds me of voting in politics, for some reason...

LOL at Erwan squirming! I have to say, H7 sounds a lot better than H6 was so far, but then I thought H6 sounded good as well... We'll see. I refuse to be hyped up by so little and so 'special'(Lots of cutscenes, scripts... how much will end up really in the game and not just in the campaigns I wonder?) content.

Would be nice if Fortress win, then fans complain, Ubisoft opens another poll:

I loved playing fortress in heroes 5, I'd only really want them if the creature line-up wasn't dominated by friggin dwarves though. The bear riders were sexy, but too much. Same goes for the potential Sylvan line-up.
Really though I'm just happy that academy is in, Ubi really ****ed up the last game, putting damn dark elves above one of the core factions.
+1 Sylvan, fortress is lovely, but I feel that Sylvan faction is much more solid with the fans, (including myself) especially after their popularity in ToTE.

This poll is heartbreaking for me; Sylvan and Fortress were both my favorite factions in H5. I want to see both of them. Sylvan will definetly win the poll, so I hope Fortress at least finds it way into the game through a Addon since they won't seem to make DLC's.
I also want my Inferno in the game; they were mediocre in H5 but awesome in H6. But here Dungeon will win which is shiet. Fk Dungeon, why would one vote for fking Elves again with Elves already and definetly winning in the previous poll. We don't need 2 of 6 factions to be elvish. Dungeon would be fine as the 8th or 9th faction.
Polls should have been Sylvan vs Dungeon and Fortess vs Inferno.
But anyway, If Inferno and especially Fortress make it into the game through addon i will be happy.

Anyway. I really want Fortress to be in the base game but we have to reinvent its creature lineup. How about this?

I personally hope there's Dungeon AND Sylvan. But I saw in other threads that it might be Inferno VS. Dungeon for the last poll, in which case I'd be so conflicted I don't think I'd even vote...

My vote is for Fortress even if I like more Sylvan faction. I want to try to give Dwraf faction a chance to be a choose.
Would be interesting to know what kind of magic will be in Fortress faction. From various screenshot we can see that are:
Light, 4 elements, and dark magic
Sylvan I think would focus on Earth and Water circle of magic.
Fortress maybe on Light and Fire.
With Academy faction they have a jolly, because the elements of magic less used can be focussed by the Wizards.
