Yes, proper spelling and grammar IS important on the internet, lest it leak into your everyday life and make you look like a tool.
Yes ... difference has 2 "r"s .... riiiight. My apologies if I was not born in a country in which English is primary language.
And also - gramar on internet is not the most important thing...as long as the text itself is understandable.

The same case with planet seasons, its orbit around a sun and tilt of rotational axis was present in both Enroth and Axeoth.
Besides, you look for logic in world, when you can make lunar eclipse at no time by using magic artifact. And where all winds were created by some flying chicken.

Ah ... ok ... you see I always taught, that it is the second one, and pronounced it that way. You know ... cause Angels live there ... and can therefore be recruited into army ... no?
ok - I will make sure to call it Haven in the future.

He has a valid point, however. Language is the primary carrier of information, which is the core of communication. If we start butchering our language, we inadvertently start to butcher our communication. Lack of communication leads to a lack of mutual understanding.
Now I can understand that English isn't your primary language (for the record, it's not mine either; my primary language is Dutch), so your grammar construction may be different, but that doesn't give you an excuse to continue to butcher the words themselves, especially if you see other people writing those same words consistently differently. And yet sometimes, for some reasons, spelling errors persist.
One of my personal favorites here on this website is the word "resource", which some users keep insisting should be spelled as "ressource". Another one I recently saw was "interasting", which should be "interesting" instead (derived from a contraction of the Latin words "inter" (=in between) and "esse" (=to be)). But there are more examples around. I try to read past them, suffering in silence , but it is annoying at times .

Well for the record, when playing with my friends I always call this faction "Humans". Allways have (since H1) and probably allways will. I also don't call other factions by their name most of the time. Here is how me and my brother and few friends usualy refer to these factions:
Haven = humans
Sylvan = elves
Dungeon = monsters/beasts (former), dark elves (present)
Academy = mages/wizards
Necropolis = undead
Fortres = lizards/lizardmen (former), dwarves (present?)
Stronghold = orcs
I always called the factions by races, which reside in them, and yes, in everyday conversation I also almost never use the term "factions", but "races", since, in my language "faction" is rarely used word. I only refer to the factions when speaking in english.
I almost didn't notice, back in the day, that "castle" changed to "haven" ... they were still humans. And regarding this, I not only misspelled it, but also missread it, since I was convinced it was Heaven, cause you had the Angels as a "race" which reside in it.
And for the record, in my language, when writing on forums and talking in everyday life, we pronounce and spell the words in a way that is far from grammatically correct. We cal it "informal" or "casual" talk. English has none of that so it's hard to explain.... closest come "internet" english, where words like "You" are replaced by "u", and so on. Some words are completly diferent than formal versions, so that foreigners who learn some of it, still can't understand much when they hear actual street conversation.

Actually, there is a division between formal and informal English. Formal is standardized language usage that people learn in school and it is also used in administration and official documents, etc. Informal is everything else which is not standard: slang, jargon, different kinds of sociolects etc. Such division is common to every language.

Can't remember the Heroes 3 Castle worshiping anything in particular really. Angels were not angels (one of the Might and Magic mysteries) and Monks were... something. One of the tavern hints speculated the Zealots are "beings of pure energy". Just saying.
