Best thing about preordering is leaving behind bunch of whiners and enjoying the beta with people who actually like Heroes.

I don't know why me or anybody else wouldn't ACTUALLY like Heroes just because we hate or don't like H6.

That's indeed a point for me as well. I'm very interested in
this
game and applied for beta access SOME time ago, shortly after the closed beta started. Then sudenly the game was up for pre-ordering, giving immediate access to the beta, and I was really tempted since 20 bucks aren't that much of a deal - but I still couldn't get myself to pay money for ending up fixing bugs.

I don't mind people, who pre orders, but don't make it out like it's a fantastic deal.

I got the impression when I pay preorder that I will get full game at the minute it is released, not only beta test... Oh wait... I WILL get the full game at the minute it is released... How about that

It's not that long ago you actually got the game for free when you applied for a beta. Now, you are supposed to BUY the game in order to help them providing you with what you actually WOULD pay for later?
The difference to kickstarter isn't that visible anymore.
And by the way, what I actually wanted to write is "helping them fixing bugs" - it doesn't change the actual fact that beta testers provide a service.

Okay, but I can buy the game when it's released or at least pre order AFTER the beta ended, so I can see the problems... Why would anyone pre order a game which isn't even showed to us properly ingame?

Why would you even want a game, let alone a ubisoft game at launch? that's when they are the most snow! and in the case of Ubi, EA and WB that's when they are in alpha-stage of development 
Basically, pre-order a ubi game and you're paying to get an unfinished game at "launch". For your own sake don't pre-order(unless you like the doodads  ). You'll only gain by waiting.

No, don't tell them that kiryu ... you'll discourage them from testing the game for us. Besides. Everyone that will get the gmae in first few months of release will get the beta.

And for people who pre-order, sorry to be rude but have you lost your Memory???
H5 launch was a garbage! 2 years later it was OK with TOTE!
H6 launch was a garbage! 2 years later it was still a garbage!!
AND now REALLY? you want to pre-order!!!!
If people stop to pre-order games "may be" we will have a final product at launch!
But "thanks" to you (who pre-order) developers will continue to launch games full of bugs!
Change your bad habits ans "may be" developers will change too!

Would I pre order.....no, I would much rather wait untill all the teething problems and bugs have been fixed. That is presuming that they will actually get fixed this time of course.

personally, i pre-order some games however it heavily depends on the publisher/developer. Ubisoft has proven over and over and over and over again it does not give a single snow about finishing or giving people a complete product on launch. you get half the game and if you pre-order you'll get a couple extra missions, maybe a skin and f you purchase the super-duper-mega-edition-deluxe you'll also have acces to DAY 1 DLC ON THE DISC! WOO! That's not even the complete package since there are like three more versions (one with a statue, OMG!), none of which gives everything. And that's before the retail exclusives.
The only company i pre-order from these days are Nintendo. Want to know why? Complete and ultra-polished games with no DLC in development. I get the complete package immediately and they have still to ruin my trust. there are other good publishers out there, but few do games i'm that interested in.
The worst part however is that i'm really looking forward to H7. I want it to be good. It seems good, something i would enjoy. But the complete bullsnow Ubi is pulling makes me not only want to wait but boycott the entire company. I was going to make an exception with Heroes, but the 2 exclusive scenarios, racist caricature Centaur and them outright insulting their customers has quickly put an end to that. I can not support this kind of behavior.

i changed my mind, i will pre-order, for the dignity of series and for mainly h8. i want limbic to continue on with h8, we need a experienced team for better games. nival changed, blackhole gone bankrupt, ubisoft said "meh.." to series. i want to change it. i dont expect h7 to be a good game at all, but ehhh here you are my reasons. so i have a question: can i pre-order for a better price? less then 50 euro? and if i can, how much i should wait for it? any guesses everyone?
