0xFEA posted a useful link on the previous page: IEEE 754 converter.

Using that one, the values for 70 (0.7) and 75 (0.75) turn out to be 33 33 33 3F and 00 00 40 3F, respectively.

Of course it is, you just need to know where to find them . I don't, unfortunately.

How about cost of buildings and creatures' abilities, do you know where I can change them?

I'm trying to fix nix' walking animation on my own. I've tried editing Cranim.txt, but that slows/speeds up BOTH animation speed and movement speed at the same time. Is there a easier way to edit either of those without modyfing them together?

Does anyone know where to change which war machine appear in a town?
I wan't Necropolis to have ballista and Castle to have First Aid Tent...

Edit: Or does anyone know how to edit the heroes specialities and speciality icons?

Edit: Nevermind, I found out how to change the war machines in the .exe file, that is awesome.
Don't know what you mean by blacksmiths artifacts id's though?

I suspect that he means the location where you can find the ID's in the artifact table for the WarMachines. They're all considered artifacts after all.

I think you are right Maurice and it did'nt work after all, cause even though it shows ballista at Necropolis and first aid tent at Castle it still buys tent at Necropolis and ballista at Castle, so I need to change those blacksmith "artifact" id's, but I don't know to what...

They are hardcodded in exe file too!
You must change not only animations OR you must find it in hota.dat. There is a gun I suppose.
0x242EA0 machines animations
0x2AAA60 machines locations
numbers about 92  ballista 93 tent 94 box, first castle etc.
But I dont see sense. You can recruit all in all cities so for why?
Phoenix extract txt tables in h3sprite.lod NOT in h3psprit (it is not executable!) and see what it is.
You can edit there a lot of things. Building cost, hero number of starting creatures, tavern aligment! Creature stats. Etc. Use MMArchive. In HotA you must pack all in hotaing.lod its executable at first. In clean HIII you mustnt pack! Put in data folder only!
HotA animations. I dont changed it but it must be in hota.dat. In txt.tables are only old units.

@Baronus I did change machines animations in the exe file and I have changed the text so it says you can buy ballista at necropolis and first aid tent at Castle and it shows them in the blacksmiths, but it still buys the same old war machines, so I need to change 2AAA60 to something else, but I don't know to what... Do you?

I have already edited lots of things using MMArchive, TxtEdit and editing the HotA.exe file, so I know how things work, it's just hard when you don't know exactly what you are doing in the HotA.exe file.

Yeah, looks like Titan's Gladius to me too, war machines seems to start at 2AA8E2...

Don't have a hota/sod executable now but yes, I'm mistaken.

For exchanging Castle/Necropolis warfare try this:
002C322F: 80
002C325F: 60
(but Stronghold's Ballista Yard always uses Castle's WF, so it will sell First Aid Tent)

Hmm so Stronghold's ballista yard will always have what is in Castle's blacksmith?
Well I don't wan't Stronghold to have first aid tent, but I wan't Castle to have it, Clerics have the highest chance of learning First Aid, yet they can't even buy a tent! Undeads on the other hand, have a tent, but none of them can learn First Aid, besides I don't even understand how first aid work on undeads (and elementals, gargoyles and golems)  

How about switching Dungeons ballista with Infernos ammo cart, would that be possible?

Edit: Hmm I don't think those offsets work for HotA, the code seems to end at 2AFFFF...
