I think this news doesn't even disappoint. It was expected to be something crappy. Perhaps crappier than expected, though. They simply manage doing it.

You know I would actually love a tabletop wargame based on Might and Magic. Mostly because I would love the miniatures but this is nothing more then a quick cashgrab

This looks boring. Customization is okay (though there could be premade models). But the battles look uninspiring, just bashing each other without much thinking. Even if there are more options for creatures to attack, it just means that you have to choose the strongest and fastest attack and button mash it.

There are premade models, if what you mean with "premade models" is premade paintings (all models are premade it is the painting that you may change).

Well not that I'm a fan of it but actually it is more complicated than that. You can't spam your strongest attack because this will have a cooldown so you have to switch to other attacks and skills, and combine them and your targets in the best way.

they were very evasive when asked to rule out microtransactions and gave canned PR answers, I would expect to deal with microtransactions sooner or later if you're gullible enough to buy this game lol

They probably will allow cosmetics for existing models. If they start making things work like Gunbound or making people be able to buy stronger units, or buy different gambit-actions, then they'll be in a world of hurt. Which they already are unknowingly.

Community: H5 was a nice game, the best skill mechanics ever which must return! We would like H6 to be just slightly improved, following the path set by H5. And better release with less bugs. Or Dark Messiah 2 would be very cool.

Maybe. They do indeed repeat themselves. Imagine Ubi-Moshi's replies. Or the motivating snow to invite to the paid early access, about the feedback etc. on MM:S forums, It is exactly the same kind of stuff (maybe completely the same sentences) I believed to 2 years ago.

That's a good point you're bringing out actually. Ubisoft is not a machine obviously yet it is managed in a very pragmatic and "cold" way in which benefit is the master word. They know what to produce and when, in order to make the most out of it. I followed many publishers and I find their way of doing things very pragmatic, dogmatic and cynical. Some liberals will tell you that it's legitimate. I guess it is, if you don't push it too much though.
Cause when you push it you sacrifice core elements of your products basically games, core elements which are creativity, passion, global quality... et cætera. Making fans disappointed further and further.

So the Chinese get a heroes game, even if it's a mobile sh11tty knock-off with ugly cartoony graphic, but it's at least a heroes game based on the old universe (even if it's still a disgrace to the series). And the western market gets a warhammer figurine rip-off fused with Dota/LoL/HoS/whatever in a cheap attempt to be "relevant" and cash in a some extra few bucks while the franchise still rolls.
Well, no one wins in the end, I guess
